Akali and Xu Yi were shocked. The two of them stared at each other, their eyes full of worry.
"Sir President, Kassandra, she … she isn't in danger, is she …"
Xu Yi was silent.
When it came to the Abyssal Demon Race's stone pillars that they could not fully understand for the time being, even he could not give an explanation.
What's more, Kassandra was now on the moon more than 300,000 kilometers away from here. If something really happened to her, there was nothing he could do.
"Don't worry, Kassandra is a dragon. Her physical strength is so strong that she can even fly freely in space. There shouldn't be a problem." Xu Yi could only reluctantly comfort Akali.
Akali was not a young girl, so she naturally did not trust Xu Yi so much, but in the face of this situation, she had no choice but to reluctantly convince herself to believe Xu Yi's words.
"I hope Kassandra is not …"
As soon as she spoke, Akali's expression suddenly changed and she raised her head.
"Sir President …"
At this time, Xu Yi had already turned his head to the northwest with a look of astonishment. When he heard Akali's shout, he understood that she had also suddenly felt a very strong and abnormal magic fluctuation coming from that direction.
Moreover, he and Akali were very familiar with the frequency and attribute of this magic fluctuation. It was exactly the same as the slight magic fluctuation they had felt from the stone pillars in the ruins.
"Could it be …"
The two of them looked at each other and nodded in unison. Their figures flashed, and the next moment, they appeared in the sky northwest of the Space Island.
"Sir President, look over there!"
Akali pointed to the northwest, the sea about dozens of kilometers away from where the two of them were and exclaimed loudly.
In the sea where Akali was pointing, a light blue pillar of light rose from the sea and shot straight into the sky.
Looking up along the light pillar, one would find that this light pillar did not dissipate. Even when it was high up in the sky, it did not dim at all.
"Chairman Xu, what's going on?"
The void beside them flashed, and Elder Undine appeared beside Xu Yi and Akali.
She looked at the light blue pillar of light in the distance and asked Xu Yi in surprise.
"I don't know yet, but I think … we might be one step closer to understanding the secrets of the abyss demons," Xu Yi said, shaking his head.
Akali didn't care about this. She stared at the beam of light for a while and suddenly asked nervously, "President, do you think … this has something to do with Kassandra?"
"I'm not sure yet. Let's go over there and take a look. There's still something there." Xu Yi pointed to the northwest and motioned for Akali and Elder Undine to follow.
Akali and Undine nodded. Just as the three of them were about to use the Teleportation Magic to rush over, they suddenly discovered that the surrounding Mana Space had become somewhat abnormal. With their current powerful abilities, it was actually very difficult for them to perfectly control the Mana Elements and use the Teleportation Magic.
Xu Yi tried a few times and frowned.
"There's no need to try. This Mana Space seems to have been locked into a special state. Unless we have power that exceeds the limit, we can't use teleportation magic."
"Why is it like this?" Elder Undine asked in surprise.
"If I'm not wrong, it should be related to the ruins of the abyss demons," Xu Yi turned to Akali, and said, "Maybe it really has something to do with Kassandra.
I hope that after 10,000 years, this huge ultra-long-distance Teleportation Magic Array left behind by the abyss demons can still be used normally. "
After leaving behind these two sentences that made Akali and Elder Undine somewhat puzzled, Xu Yi tried it, and found that although the Teleportation Magic couldn't be used, the Flight Magic was still fine. He urged all the mana in his body and flew at full speed to the center of the sea area where the ruins of the abyss demons were located.
Akali and Elder Undine immediately followed behind.
After flying for a while, the three of them found that there were several other blue lights in the sea area ahead. Obviously, the abnormality didn't only occur in the previous place.
But just as the three of them were about to fly to the nearest blue light, several blue lights on the sea surface suddenly disappeared together.
The three of them stopped in shock.
"Mr. President, this …"
Xu Yi frowned and thought for a while, and then said to Akali, "Send a message to Kassandra."
"Can it get through?"
Akali immediately reacted, and hurriedly took out the magic communicator, and dialed Kassandra's communication device.
The magic communicator connected immediately, but the sound that represented the communication device rang for a while, and still didn't get through.
Just as Akali's gaze gradually turned from disappointment to despair, the magic communicator beeped softly.
Akali immediately perked up, and hurriedly shouted into the magic communicator.
"Hello?
Kassandra?
Hello?
Can you hear me?
Kassandra?
Can you hear me?
If you can, answer quickly! "
A moment later, Kassandra's voice finally sounded from the magic communicator.
"Hello, is … is this Akali?"
Even through the magic communicator, Xu Yi could easily hear the doubts and confusion in Kassandra's voice.
From the looks of it, this extremely daring Dragon Tribe girl must have suffered quite a shock this time.
Hearing Kassandra's voice, Akali immediately became happy.
"It's me!
Kassandra, how are you now?
Did anything happen?
What happened just now?
By the way, are you now … on the moon or … "
Elder Undine had a strange expression on her face.
Kassandra is on the moon?
Where is that?
"I … I think … I think I'm back?" Kassandra looked very uncertain.
"Wait, I see the ruins' stone pillars!
I … I think I'm really back! "
Akali immediately looked up at Xu Yi, her face full of shock.
Xu Yi had already guessed this possibility. Although he was equally surprised, he still calmly said to Akali, "Let her send a signal and stay where she is. We'll go find her."
Akali relayed Xu Yi's instructions to Kassandra, and Kassandra agreed.
After a while, Xu Yi turned his head to look to the west, and Akali also looked over.
Elder Undine also sensed the special magic fluctuations coming from there, but she was not as familiar with the special magic fluctuations emitted by Kassandra as Xu Yi and Akali were, so her reaction was a little slower.
"Let's go and take a look."
Xu Yi waved his hand and focused his senses. After confirming that the surrounding magic power space had indeed returned to normal, he directly used teleportation magic to flash over.
A few minutes later, Xu Yi had appeared in the sky about 50 kilometers away from his previous position.
He looked down and saw Kassandra raising her huge dragon head high.
As soon as she saw Xu Yi, Kassandra immediately flew up, transformed into her human form in mid-air, and then pounced directly at Xu Yi.
Xu Yi wanted to dodge, but when he saw a few drops of tears on Kassandra's face in her human form, he couldn't help but be stunned. He couldn't dodge in time and was hugged tightly by Kassandra.
"Chairman Xu!
Wuuu … "
After calling out, Kassandra hugged Xu Yi and began sobbing.
Hearing Kassandra's cries that were exactly the same as those of a human girl, Xu Yi had a strange expression.
This was a member of the Dragon Clan!
The most powerful dragon among all races, and they can even freely enter and exit space with their bodies. They can even fly directly to the moon!
Now, she's actually crying in my arms!
After thinking about it, Xu Yi sighed, raised his arm, gently hugged Kassandra, and patted her back to comfort her.
After a while, Akali and Elder Undine flashed out of the void. When they saw the scene in front of them, their eyes widened.
"This … Sir President, you …" Akali pointed at Xu Yi and Kassandra, dumbfounded. For a while, she didn't know what expression to use.
However, when Kassandra heard Akali's voice, she raised her head from Xu Yi's arms and glanced at Akali. Then, she directly left Xu Yi's arms and flew toward Akali.
It wasn't until she cried in Akali's arms for a while that Kassandra gradually recovered and finally stopped crying.
"Ahem … Kassandra, are you okay?" Xu Yi coughed softly and asked.
Kassandra looked at Xu Yi, then looked at Akali, and finally glanced at Elder Undine next to her. Her face blushed.
Just now, when she was in a state of excitement, she didn't care about anything else. When she saw an acquaintance appear, she threw herself into the other party's arms and cried bitterly without thinking.
Now that she thought about it, as a dignified dragon, she actually showed such a weak side in front of two humans and an elf. It was simply too embarrassing!
Xu Yi and Akali looked at each other and saw the smile in each other's eyes.
In fact, Xu Yi could understand Kassandra's abnormal behavior just now.
Although Kassandra was even older than Elder Undine in terms of age, the lifespan of dragons was extremely long, so their mental development was abnormally slow.
It was said that dragons had to live for at least a thousand years before they could be considered adults.
So with Kassandra's current age, if converted to human age, she was probably equivalent to a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl.
Moreover, Kassandra spent most of her time living on the island where the red dragons lived. She had little contact with the outside world, and her mind was even more pure. In terms of intelligence, she was probably even lower.
Now that she suddenly encountered such a huge change, it was normal for her to lose control of her emotions.
In order to prevent Kassandra from continuing to feel awkward, Xu Yi coughed and continued to ask, "Kassandra, you were on the moon just now, right?
Then do you know how you came back here? "
Kassandra raised her head again and thought for a while, her eyes a little confused.
"I don't know what's going on.
I just found those stone pillars on the moon that were very similar to here, and then tried to input some magic power into them. Then I saw those pillars emit blue light at the same time, and then … I felt a particularly strong change in the surrounding magic power space, and then everything went black. When I came back to my senses, I found myself here. "
"Blue light?" Xu Yi and Akali lowered their heads together, understanding in their hearts.
It seemed that the things Kassandra found on the moon were indeed related to the Abyss demon ruins here.
