However, Lin Xiao didn't want them to develop the habit of sitting back and enjoying the fruits of others' labor. When it was time for them to gain experience, he would still let them gain experience!
Of course, besides gaining experience for his subordinates, Lin Xiao also needed to gain experience for himself!
Since he had arrived at the Northern Beast Plains, Lin Xiao wouldn't shrink back. He could use this cruel environment to train his combat ability.
After arriving at the Northern Beast Plains with his subordinates, Lin Xiao only left Yang Jian behind to protect him. The others split up to hunt the wolves.
Lin Xiao also moved forward and groped his way into a desolate forest.
One had to admit that Lin Xiao's luck was pretty good. He encountered four Wood Wolves at once.
Wood Wolves were a special branch of the wolf tribe. They controlled the wood attribute. If they were in other places, they might not be strong. But in places where trees grew, they were natural born kings!
Of the four Wood Wolves that Lin Xiao encountered, two were at Earth Immortal Level 5 and two were at Earth Immortal Level 4. Their strength could be said to be on par with Lin Xiao.
However, Lin Xiao was alone, while the other party had four of them!
The pressure was still too great!
However, with Yang Jian protecting him from the shadows, Lin Xiao wasn't afraid of these Wood Wolves. Of course, Lin Xiao also instructed that unless his life was in danger, Yang Jian was not to interfere.
Looking at the four Wood Wolves that were eyeing him covetously, Lin Xiao clenched the Dog Beating Stick in his hand. Although he had also inherited the Green Radiance Sword, the Dog Beating Stick was a quasi-divine weapon after all, and he was used to it.
"Dog Beating Stick Technique!"
Lin Xiao raised the Dog Beating Stick and rushed towards the Wood Wolves. Although it was the Dog Beating Stick Technique, it wasn't impossible to use it against wolves.
With a leap, Lin Xiao appeared in front of one of the Earth Immortal Level 4 Wood Wolves. The Dog Beating Stick in his hand mercilessly attacked the Wood Wolf's head.
For the Wood Wolf Clan, the head was their weak point. Lin Xiao's attack was very targeted!
But he was an existence at the 4th level of the Earthly Immortal Realm in the end. Even though his combat strength was inferior to Lin Xiao, his cultivation was an entire three levels higher than Lin Xiao, so how could he be defeated so easily?
The Wood Wolf leaped and narrowly dodged Lin Xiao's attack. At the same time, its companions also launched an attack on Lin Xiao.
"Kill!"
One of the Wood Wolves roared, and the other four Wood Wolves rushed over together. At the same time, they controlled the nearby trees to attack Lin Xiao.
This was the wood attribute talent of the wood wolf!
Under their control, the surrounding trees seemed to have a life of their own as they swept towards Lin Xiao one after another.
Although it wasn't difficult for Lin Xiao to avoid the attacks of these trees, it was somewhat difficult to guard against the attacks of the trees and the wood wolves at the same time.
In just a moment, Lin Xiao felt the pressure.
He couldn't sit and wait for death like this, or he would be the one to suffer!
After all, this was a forest with a lot of trees. These Wood Wolves could use the trees to launch a lot of attacks. If he was too tired to deal with them, he would be exhausted in the end.
Thinking of this, Lin Xiao chose to take the initiative to attack!
Facing the sweeping giant tree, Lin Xiao didn't choose to resist. Instead, he used the force of the giant tree to rush towards the Wood Wolf that he had attacked at the beginning.
"You!"
Seeing Lin Xiao close at hand, a trace of panic flashed through the eyes of the Wood Wolf at the 4th level of the Earthly Immortal Realm. It subconsciously wanted to avoid Lin Xiao's attack.
But this time, Lin Xiao wouldn't give it another chance!
He raised the Dog Beating Stick high and chased after the Wood Wolf at the 4th level of the Earthly Immortal Realm. The Wood Wolf couldn't dodge and was finally hit in the head by Lin Xiao.
"Boom!"
After being hit in the head by the Dog Beating Stick, the Wood Wolf immediately felt dizzy.
At the same time, Lin Xiao launched a fierce attack with the Dog Beating Stick in his hand. The Dog Beating Stick smashed on the Wood Wolf like raindrops.
This was an all-out attack!
Not to mention that this Wood Wolf was only at the 4th level of the Earthly Immortal Realm, even a 5th or 6th level Wood Wolf wouldn't be able to withstand such a crazy attack.
"Damn human!"
When the other three wood wolves saw that their companion had been beaten by Lin Xiao to the point of being drenched in blood and dying, they were completely infuriated. With ferocious light shooting out of their eyes, they rushed towards Lin Xiao.
Lin Xiao glanced at the movements of the three Wood Wolves from the corner of his eyes. He quickly used the Ultimate Body Movement to dodge their attacks. At the same time, the Dog Beating Stick in his hand kept attacking the Wood Wolves.
"Chi!"
When Lin Xiao's Dog Beating Stick hit the Wood Wolf's head, his arm was also scratched by another Wood Wolf. Lin Xiao frowned. He clenched his teeth and endured the pain. He continued to hit the Wood Wolf's head.
Just like that, another Wood Wolf fell down!
When the remaining two wood wolves looked at Lin Xiao, there was obvious fear in their eyes.
Crazy!
This human is really crazy!
They clearly didn't do anything to this human, but this human attacked them with such a suicidal method. They were stunned.
The two Wood Wolves quickly looked at each other and then fled in opposite directions.
Seeing the Wood Wolves running away, Lin Xiao didn't chase after them. Firstly, wolves were very fast. He might not be able to catch up. Secondly, he came here to gain experience. Chasing after Wood Wolves wasn't very interesting.
"Congratulations, my Lord!"
At this time, Yang Jian walked out from the shadows and looked at Lin Xiao with appreciation.
The reason why he was so loyal to Lin Xiao, apart from Lin Xiao's trust and support, was that he admired Lin Xiao. He clearly had a great opportunity at hand, but he had been fighting steadily and didn't relax in the slightest!
Lin Xiao smiled and said, "Erlang, thank you for watching over me in secret!"
"This is what Erlang should do!"
Yang Jian cupped his fists and said with a smile.
Just like that, Lin Xiao began his life in the Northern Beast Plains. He didn't show off. Instead, he treated himself as a member of the Sky Howling Battalion and fought at the forefront!
However, Lin Xiao had Yang Jian's protection and nothing would happen to him. However, the members of the Sky Howling Battalion faced greater dangers and challenges.
In just a month, the Sky Howling Battalion's members had plummeted by more than a thousand people!
One had to know that the Sky Howling Battalion's members were all elites. At the very least, they had reached the Mahayana Realm. However, even with such strength, they still suffered heavy casualties in the Northern Beast Plains. This was enough to show the cruelty of the Northern Beast Plains.
However, this was the kind of cruelty that Lin Xiao wanted!
Because only by experiencing such cruelty and experiencing the baptism of life and death could the Sky Howling Battalion become an invincible spear in his hands!
Only by strengthening the Sky Howling Battalion's strength could he lead the Great Quan Empire to grow!
Lin Xiao always remembered that his goal was to unify the Northern Region, not just to become the new emperor of the Great Quan Empire. Therefore, he couldn't relax for a moment!
