…
"Brat, you want to shirk this matter just because there's no other way?"
Hearing Qin Fang's words, Tangcheng's face couldn't help but darken, and he scolded him rudely. From his expression, it could be seen that he didn't care much at all.
This matter was very serious for ordinary people, but if it fell into Tangcheng's hands, it wouldn't be too difficult to deal with it.
A few days ago, when Tangcheng dealt with the masters of the Tang Sect, he had already used guns and killed seven or eight people. At that time, he had already filed a record with the higher-ups.
This time, it was much more serious than the last time, but because it had already been filed, Tangcheng also saved a lot of trouble …
In addition, although many people were killed this time, the identities of several of the killers had been confirmed, and they had long been wanted globally for many murders.
In this way, Tangcheng's reason was even more sufficient. When the higher-ups saw this matter, they directly planned to turn a big problem into a small one, and a small one into nothing.
"But then again, this time I made a big deal, but Brother Tang, didn't you also take advantage of it?
Otherwise, how could you be promoted so quickly? "
Qin Fang didn't have any gratitude at all. Instead, he teased as if he was asking for credit.
He had just heard from Tang Feifei that Tang Cheng had just been promoted by one rank in the past two days. He had been promoted from Colonel to Senior Colonel. One more step and he would be a General.
Tangcheng was now only in his early thirties. He was definitely a young man among young men, but he had already been promoted to this level. This achievement could almost sweep away his peers.
Of course, in addition to his relationship with the Tang Family, this was also related to Tangcheng's service in the special forces. In particular, he had performed many very important missions and made meritorious contributions. This was why he was promoted so quickly …
"Don't talk nonsense. My promotion was based on my own merits. It has nothing to do with you!"
Tangcheng despised him without giving him any face.
His promotion had already been decided after Ainlang's mission was completed. It was just that he had been going through the procedures, so it hadn't been announced yet.
It was not until two days ago that the appointment was officially announced, which coincided with Qin Fang's matter. This was just a coincidence. It was not like what Qin Fang said at all.
Of course, Qin Fang knew this, but he said it deliberately. If catching a few wanted criminals could be promoted, then Tangcheng would have been promoted to a general long ago. Why would he wait until now to be promoted?
"Alright, let's stop joking around. I need to talk to you about something serious …"
The two of them were just chatting for a while. Tangcheng naturally wouldn't look for Qin Fang just because of this matter that had already been dealt with. He had another purpose for coming here.
"Oh, what's the matter?
You seem to be very nervous … "
Qin Fang nodded. The smile on his face disappeared, and he put on a serious look. From Tangcheng's eyes, he could see that what Tangcheng wanted to talk to him about wouldn't be so simple.
"Well, then I'll get straight to the point …"
Tangcheng didn't care about Qin Fang's words. He leaned toward Qin Fang and whispered, "You are now a person of the underground world … Have you heard of Devil's Island?"
Although this was a private club and they were in a private room, the security and privacy should be very good, but Tangcheng seemed to be more cautious.
"Devil's Island … How do you know?"
Qin Fang was slightly stunned. He looked at Tangcheng strangely. Obviously, he didn't know what Tangcheng meant. After all, Tangcheng belonged to the military and had contact with the underground world, but he was definitely not very familiar with it.
Devil's Island was considered a taboo in the underground world. Except for some forces or masters behind them, most of the newcomers didn't know about it. Usually, people rarely talked about this place, so it was inconvenient to inquire about it.
Tangcheng wasn't a person of the underground world, so it was possible that he had heard of Devil's Island by chance. But now, he suddenly mentioned it to Qin Fang so cautiously. That was a bit strange.
"You really know …"
When Qin Fang showed such a surprised expression, Tangcheng's face was filled with joy. He immediately muttered, as if he had expected it.
Of course, when he saw Qin Fang's real response, he was still a little surprised. It seemed that he wasn't very sure beforehand.
"Tell me, what's going on?"
Judging from Tangcheng's reaction, what he was going to say might be related to Devil's Island, and it might even be related to it.
"It's like this …"
So Tangcheng briefly explained the reason why he asked Qin Fang to come over this time. Although he didn't know the inside story, it didn't prevent him from introducing it to Qin Fang.
The matter was actually quite simple. A warship from Long Province accidentally disappeared, and according to the information sent back by the satellite positioning system, this warship disappeared in the high seas hundreds of nautical miles away from the northeast of Long Province.
This sea area was the public waters of the Pacific Ocean. It wasn't the territorial sea of any country, but this sea area was very close to the waters of Long Province, Russia, Japan, and other countries.
After the incident, Long Province immediately sent warships to search and rescue, but they couldn't find any trace of the warship. It was as if the warship just disappeared into thin air.
If this sea area was like Bermuda, maybe there wouldn't be such a big movement. It would be listed as an international no-sail area, and ordinary ships wouldn't go there.
But in fact, it was still far away from the nearest no-sail area, so it was impossible to be affected … This matter became an unsolved mystery.
It wasn't until an agent lurking in the US Military Intelligence Department sent back a message that some of the mysteries of the warship's disappearance were revealed. It was obviously related to this mysterious Devil's Island.
"Devil's Island is in the North Sea?"
Before Tangcheng said his purpose, Qin Fang had already exploded. He asked almost excitedly. Obviously, the answer to this question was more important to him.
"Uh … What's wrong?"
Tangcheng was slightly stunned. He looked at Qin Fang in surprise. It seemed that this was the first time he saw Qin Fang so excited since Qin Fang had known him.
"Nothing, I just want to ask where the Devil's Island is …"
Qin Fang didn't say much. He just wanted to know the location of this mysterious Devil's Island as soon as possible.
Perhaps before he knew the news of his father, Qin Fang, the Devil's Island was just a good place to train and improve. Although it was extremely dangerous, it also brought a lot of benefits.
But the problem was that not only did he want to go to the Devil's Island to train himself, he also wanted to bring back his father, Qin Tiannan, who had been missing for nearly 20 years, so that their family could reunite!
Qin Fang didn't have a specific plan, but a simple idea had been hidden in the depths of his mind. If it wasn't for the fact that he didn't know the location of the Devil's Island, he would have already set off.
However, the Devil's Island was rarely opened to the public. Normally, the Devil's Island would take the initiative to contact the underground world, and the various forces in the underground world would allocate a quota to enter the Devil's Island.
Qin Fang naturally intended to fight for this quota. At the same time, he also wanted to reach the peak of the Master Stage as soon as possible. He even wanted to go when he was only one step away from the Grandmaster Stage. This way, he could continuously train and try to break through that bottleneck …
Grandmasters were already considered top-notch experts, and there were only a handful of them who could match up to them. However, even with such strength, they weren't qualified to sweep through the entire Demonic Island. In fact, it would be difficult for them to even stay alive, let alone bring his father away safely.
Qin Fang had a token that his father asked the Blood Hand Devilman to bring to Qin Fang. It was a token that allowed him to enter the Devil's Island without fighting for a quota.
However, Qin Fang thought that it was best not to touch this token if it wasn't necessary. He didn't want to bring any negative influences to himself.
But no matter what, Qin Fang's first priority was to know the location of the Devil's Island. Otherwise, everything would be in vain …
This location had always been extremely mysterious. Only a few of the higher-ups in the underground world knew about it. However, none of these people were under Qin Fang's control. Any one of them could easily kill him!
Without knowing the specific location of the Devil's Island, Qin Fang could only wait for the news of the Devil's Island's opening …
However, when Qin Fang didn't expect this at all, Tangcheng suddenly said this. It was as if Qin Fang had seen the light at the end of the tunnel. That was why he was so excited.
"I don't know the specific location. I only know the general direction … You should know how mysterious this Devil's Island is. Almost no one has seen it before. We can only rely on guesses!"
Tang Chao shook his head. He also heard about this from others. He didn't know the location of the Devil's Island either.
However, the intelligence sent back by the agent this time revealed a lot of information. Only then did they know the general direction of the Devil's Island. At the same time, the disappearance of the warship this time had a lot to do with the Devil's Island.
"Then why are you looking for me …?"
Although it was only a general direction, it was at least much easier than Qin Fang looking all over the world. After all, 70% of the earth was ocean. It was too difficult to find an island in such a large area.
Now that he knew the approximate location of the Devil's Island, Qin Fang was very happy. It might not be accurate, but at least there was some hope.
Now that Qin Fang was happy, it was easier to talk about the rest of the matter. He even took the initiative to ask Tangcheng why he was looking for him.
"It's not a big deal. I just want to know how much you know about this Devil's Island. Can you provide some detailed information …?"
Looking at the smile on Qin Fang's face, Tangcheng felt a little confused. However, he still briefly explained the purpose of his visit.
