Lu Yin's lips curled up. In the distance, Shangqing's body suddenly appeared behind Lu Yin uncontrollably. When Lu Yin had tapped out with Seventh Brother's Finger, he had also set up a teleportation array just for this moment.
Shangqing blocked Lu Yin's back and took a blow from Progenitor Chen while Lu Yin's Seventh Brother's Finger changed direction and pointed at Shangqing.
Shangqing was being attacked from both the front and back.
Lu Yin had many battle techniques, secret techniques, and sourcebox arrays. His battle potential was limitless.
Shangqing was shocked, as he had not sensed the teleportation array being set up. By the time he reacted, it was already too late. Facing the simultaneous attacks from both the front and back, he reacted in a way that no one had expected. He faced Seventh Brother's finger head-on.
Lu Yin had not expected this. He had thought that Shangqing would send a third stream of energy towards him to stop Seventh Brother's finger. After all, Progenitor Chen could be turned into a stream of energy at any time, so he was not much of a threat.
Could it be that Shangqing wanted to fight with a secret technique?
This was the only possibility that Lu Yin could think of, but he was not afraid. Seventh Brother's finger viciously struck Shangqing's body.
An invisible stream of energy spread out in all directions, and Shangqing's body paused for a moment. Behind him, Progenitor Chen turned into a stream of energy and then turned back into Progenitor Chen. A blade descended from Shangqing's head and slashed towards Lu Yin.
Lu Yin was stunned. His Seventh Brother's Finger had no effect on Shangqing at all. How could this be?
There was a thump as the Fatesand appeared in front of Lu Yin, blocking Progenitor Chen's attack. Lu Yin was forced back by the enormous force, and the Fatesand returned to his body. In front of him, Progenitor Chen's attack descended once more.
He was still immersed in the unfathomable scene from before. Shangqing had taken Seventh Brother's finger head-on without being injured at all. How was this possible?
Even people with strong physical bodies like the Star Destroyer, Feather Mavis, Wang Yi, and Wu Taibai would not be able to take Seventh Brother's finger head on without being injured. That was an absolute attack that contained overlaying stacks, battle force, and the power of Dream's Finger.
One finger was enough to break through Progenitor Chen's blade intent, but it could not hurt Shangqing at all?
Did Shangqing himself possess strength that surpassed theirs?
It was not just Lu Yin; everyone else was stunned. Even Wu Taibai's face sank. he could not understand.
Wang Yi dodged Progenitor Chen's illusory finger once again and looked at Shangqing....
Initially, they thought that no matter how powerful the Shangqing was, it was still borrowing Ancestor Chen's strength. But now, they realised that they were wrong.
Even they did not dare to guarantee that they would be able to escape unscathed from Lu Yin's finger attack. The fact that the Prime Clear One was able to withstand it head on without suffering any injuries had completely overturned their understanding.
Could it be that this person had already reached that level?
Wang Yi and Wu Taibai were shaken. There was someone in this starry sky who could reach that level?
That shouldn't be the case. If he had really reached that level, he wouldn't have been injured before.
The Astral Chessboard appeared beneath his feet, and he moved, appearing a thousand meters away as he stared at Shangqing.
Shangqing was still standing in the void, and he looked at Lu Yin. "You're not bad."
Lu Yin's eyes narrowed. His strongest attack was Seventh Bro's finger, and it had been infused with everything he had, but it was completely useless against this guy. What was going on?
He recalled the feeling when he hit Shangqing. It didn't seem to have a strong resistance, nor did it have enough rune lines to block Seventh Brother's finger. But why was it unharmed?
He was certain that his earlier series of methods had forced out the Prime Clear's deeply hidden ability. However, he didn't understand this ability at all.
On Mount Supreme, the other contestants were speechless.
Ku Wei was speechless. This was too abnormal. Seventh Bro's attack was useless, so how were they supposed to fight?
It was no wonder that Wu Taibai had given up.
The strength that Shangqing had displayed was enough to shock everyone. Not to mention the ancestral qi of the three suns, the two secret techniques that he had grasped and the ability to defend against Seventh Bro's finger were enough to make him the most troublesome opponent in the entire Sovereign Tournament.
The Sirius Art was the nemesis of speed, but the expulsion secret technique was the true nemesis of speed. No matter how fast Wang Yi was, he would still be expelled.
"It seems like you've reached your limits. Then, let's end this." Shangqing's tone was filled with indescribable disappointment. The Xia family's Progenitor Chen and the illusory Progenitor Chen both retreated in front of him. Then, under everyone's stunned gazes, they fused.
In the distance, Xia Jiuyou's body trembled. It was the Nine Clones Technique.
Below, Xia Luo's eyelids twitched. Progenitor Chen's nine clones had fused. After countless years, their generation had actually witnessed the fusion of Progenitor Chen's nine clones.
Everyone felt a chill run down their backs. Any one of Progenitor Chen's clones had the power to fight against Lu Yin and Wang Yi. Now that they had fused, no one could see any hope of victory.
Even Wang Yi's heart sank, as he could not guess how strong Progenitor Chen would be after the fusion.
Lu Yin looked at Progenitor Chen's fusion with a strange expression. He had used the Plan Secret Art just now because he knew that Progenitor Chen would not have been able to create a secret technique when he had been an Enlighter. That was why he had been able to use it without worry. If that was the case, then Progenitor Chen would not have been able to create the Nine Clones Technique as well. That meant that the Nine Clones Technique had not been created by Progenitor Chen.
When Lu Yin thought about it, it made sense. Back in Progenitor Chen's great tomb, he had seen Progenitor Chen's memories. Progenitor Chen had already created clones when he was young, and it was impossible for him to have created the Nine Clones Technique at that time.
Xia Jiuyou's Nine Clones Technique could be explained by obtaining Progenitor Chen's inheritance. It could even be that he had accidentally awakened it in his blood, just like how Zhuo Daynight had learned Night's End, Daybreak. This was possible, but where had Starsibyl's Nine Clones Technique come from?
Lu Yin's thoughts were all over the place in an instant. In the distance, Progenitor Chen had already finished fusing.
Illusory flames that blotted out the sky spread out from the ground and covered the sun.
Lu Yin and Wang Yi immediately soared into the sky as illusory flames filled their surroundings. In the distance, Progenitor Chen walked out with a long blade of star energy in his hand. He raised his head and looked at the two of them. He clearly had no intelligence, and his gaze was emotionless, but it still caused the two of them to feel a chill in their hearts.
Wang Yi clenched his fists, and his figure flashed before vanishing.
At the same time, Lu Yin heard Wang Yi's voice. "Take care of Shangqing."
Wang Yi no longer planned on defeating the fused Progenitor Chen. This was Progenitor Chen, who was truly unrivalled amongst his peers. There was no possibility of him being defeated.
Lu Yin's gaze trembled as he stared at Shangqing. Daynight's Tribute.
Daynight's Tribute combined with Wang Yi's speed was the most effective attack against Shangqing. This was also the only attack that could injure Shangqing.
However, the two of them had underestimated the fused Progenitor Chen. Lu Yin's spiritual force attempted to envelop Shangqing and drag him into an illusion, but his spiritual force was severed by Progenitor Chen's blade. Wang Yi was even slashed out of the void by Progenitor Chen's blade. The blade flashed as it appeared in front of Wang Yi and slashed horizontally.
Wang Yi's pupils shrank. Four Ultimates Technique — Kui Bear.
There was a loud bang as the air rapidly expanded before exploding violently. The terrifying pressure caused the ground to split open and then pressed down in all directions. Beneath the Sky Stairway, the first, second, third, and even the foot of the mountain.
At this moment, the entire mountain shook as a huge crack extended from the peak.
Countless cracks also appeared in the space outside of the mountain from this collision.
Wang Yi's Four Ultimates Technique was suppressed for the first time. Progenitor Chen's blade tore open a bloody wound on Wang Yi's palm. The sharp blade contained an endless chill that seeped into Wang Yi's wound and froze his blood.
Wang Yi's face paled as he quickly retreated. However, he did not retract his blade and instead continued to slash out. Suddenly, Progenitor Chen's blade shifted, and the blade slashed diagonally into space. It cut open the entire sky and extended an unknown distance.
Lu Yin made his move. He used the Yu Secret Art to shift his blade and followed it up with a series of Emptiness Palms. Nine lined battle force was imprinted on the blade, and each palm contained the greatest strength that Lu Yin could release.
Progenitor Chen raised his hand and the blade spun at high speed in his palm. Flames were sucked into the rotating blade as the Emptiness Palms descended and struck the blade, forcing Progenitor Chen back several steps. Following that, the Emptiness Palms followed one after another. Each palm was able to force Progenitor Chen back, but that was all he could do. On the other side, Wang Yi's figure disappeared as he attacked Shangqing.
The blade in Progenitor Chen's hand suddenly stopped spinning and stabbed into the ground. In the next moment, strands of blade light slashed out from the bottom of the mountain towards Wang Yi and Lu Yin. Each blade light caused their scalps to go numb, and they had the ability to heavily injure them.
Lu Yin hurriedly used the Strategy Secret Art to dodge, but the entire mountain peak was covered by the blade light. In the distance, Wang Yi was less than a meter away from Shangqing, but he was also forced back by the blade light. Strands of blade light slashed out, forcing him to continuously dodge.
The moment he flipped and retreated, Wang Yi spread open his five fingers and used the Pearl Vine of the Four Ultimate Techniques on Progenitor Chen.
Progenitor Chen raised his blade and slashed down, but there was no flash of blade light. Wang Yi had caused Progenitor Chen to lose control of his blade.
Shangqing was shocked that Progenitor Chen could actually seal and fuse his power. He had never seen this person's battle technique before, and it should have been an ancient inheritance.
Losing his blade meant that he had lost his greatest threat to Wang Yi and Lu Yin.
One charged towards Shangqing as quickly as possible while the other used a teleportation array to appear behind Shangqing. They both attacked at the same time.
Shangqing still did not move, and the illusory flames separated him from the other two. Progenitor Chen appeared and struck out with a palm. Although he could not use his blade, the blade was only Progenitor Chen's ultimate technique, and Progenitor Chen's illusory strength had yet to be used.
Wang Yi had previously sealed Progenitor Chen's illusory strength, and now that he had sealed Progenitor Chen's blade, that formless strength appeared once again.
Lu Yin's palm struck the flames, and his palm distorted the flames. He used his palm as a finger, and once again, Seventh Brother's finger. He did not believe that Shangqing could ignore this.
On the other side, Wang Yi's Kui Bear collided with Progenitor Chen's palm, and a huge force seemed to have been absorbed. Wang Yi's entire body was pushed back with a shocked expression.
This was Progenitor Chen's power, and he was worthy of being an unequaled Progenitor. Even in the universe, Progenitor Chen's strength was definitely the strongest.
This was the Progenitor realm.
Any Progenitor was unequaled among their peers, let alone Progenitor Chen, who was known to be unequaled within the Progenitor realm.
Before the Premier Meet, even the Sixth Mainland's Three Progenitors had to admit that Shangqing was the only Premier on the surface because of Progenitor Chen.
And now, he was about to become a true Premier.
Lu Yin's finger pierced through the illusory flames and struck Shangqing a second time.
It was the same feeling, but Shangqing's expression did not change. In front of him, Progenitor Chen's illusory body pierced through Shangqing and reached out to grab Lu Yin. A dark light flashed in his palm, causing Lu Yin's entire body to turn cold. His eyes flashed as he weakened Progenitor Chen's rune lines. At the same time, the Star Chessboard appeared beneath his feet, and he moved.
