Xu Tianyu had just finished arranging the tasks and thought that he could go home and slack off when the system notification came.
"Ding! The precious seed planted by master, Bloodthirsty Vine, has sprouted."
Xu Tianyu was slightly taken aback. If it weren't for the system notification, he would have forgotten about the Bloodthirsty Vine Seed that he had obtained from the Advanced Gift Pack.
"Ding! Master has triggered a side quest: The growth of the Bloodthirsty Vine."
[Growth of the Vampiric Vine] Temporary Mission
Introduction:
The lifespan of the Vampiric Vine was limitless. However, due to its long lifespan, its rate of growth was extremely worrying.
Currently, the Level 2 soil in the farm was barely enough to nurture them. Hence, the ten Vampiric Vines prayed together.
They wanted their master to find more flesh and blood to nurture their growth, so that they could assist their master sooner.
Mission Requirement: At least 10 meals of meat, no upper limit.
Mission time: one week.
"This …"
Xu Tianyu's face immediately turned gloomy, the Heavenly Dragon Empire is a country that can't even eat rice.
Normally, if they wanted to eat meat, they would have to brave the dangers of the forest and enter the forest to hunt wild beasts.
Only a few large cities would breed a small number of cattle, sheep, chickens, and ducks for the nobles.
Under other circumstances, it was impossible to see meat unless the horse was killed.
The Heavenly Dragon Empire has more than a dozen huge horse farms, not to mention ten tons, even a thousand tons of meat can be obtained.
However, a horse was a knight's most trusted friend, a comrade who had gone through fire and water on the battlefield.
If Xu Tianyu killed the horses for no reason, it would be equivalent to going against all the knights on the continent and becoming the public enemy.
"How am I supposed to do this lousy mission? There's no way I can do it."
Xu Tianyu complained to the system in his heart. This task was a bit too difficult.
'Ding … a friendly reminder: 100,000 Beastmen Army.'
Xu Tianyu was stunned and his eyes lit up.
"That's right. How could I forget about that?"
The Ferocious Lion Tribe was planning to cause trouble for the Vampiric Vines. Since their corpses were going to be burned anyway, it didn't seem like a bad idea to feed the Vampiric Vine.
Moreover, beastmen tribes would usually breed a lot of wild beasts as food reserves.
If he could rob the Wild Lion Tribe, not to mention ten tons of meat, he could even get ten thousand tons of meat.
"Ah, transportation is a problem."
His spatial warehouse couldn't store corpses, so he had to bring them back home one by one.
"Damn it, when will this move take?"
Carts after carts of corpses were really moving. Before they even reached the station, the corpses were already stinking.
'Ding! Master has met the requirements to level up. Do you wish to level up?'
"Oh."
The speed at which the system changed the topic was extremely fast.
However, now that he had broken his body's limit for the second time, it was time to upgrade.
Moreover, with Xu Tianyu's understanding of the System …
There must be a reason why the system wanted him to level up.
"System, upgrade it."
"Ding! Master's upgrade conditions have been met. Beginning upgrade, please wait …"
'Ding … Leveling up this time will bring about slight pain. Master, please bear with it.'
Before Xu Tianyu was ready, a sharp pain drilled into his head.
"Ah."
Xu Tianyu could not help but cry out in pain, and a powerful aura burst out from his body.
Yūki and Old Bai, who were standing around him, were blown away.
The two of them rolled on the ground a few times before they could stop themselves.
"What's wrong?"
Ye Ji was stunned as she looked at Xu Tianyu who was in the middle of the empty space.
"Could it be that Tenyu has gone berserk?"
Old Bai said in a daze.
"Then we have to stop him. Otherwise, Tenyu will explode and die."
Todd said in a low voice.
