Because the mountain range was high and the beastmen plains were low, they wanted to enter the Heavenly Dragon Empire.
There was no doubt that this low-lying basin with a slope was the most suitable choice.
But in the same way, as long as there were guards at the top of the basin, they could set up traps.
For the beastmen who wanted to come up from the plains, it was undoubtedly a desperate barrier.
The Heavenly Dragon Empire had set up some simple outposts here before.
At the edge of the basin, there were piles of huge rocks and thick rolling logs.
But now, all the guards here had been bribed by Baron Ronald, and no one knew where they had gone.
"An Yi, tell me the current situation."
Xu Tianyu looked at the dark camp, some of the destroyed machines, and the corpses of the beastmen on the ground. He had a bad premonition.
"Young Master, when we rushed here, we found that there were no guards here, and the beastmen were destroying all the machines that controlled the traps.
Fortunately, there were not many of them and they were killed by us. But before one of the beastmen died, he released a night crow.
The Wild Lion Tribe should know our situation now. "
Xu Tianyu had already guessed it, but when he heard the news, his face was still ugly.
"How many traps can be used now?"
"Sir, ten bulldozers, five catapults, ten piles of rolling logs, and one kerosene barrel. The other traps are more or less damaged and can't be used."
"Phew."
Xu Tianyu took a deep breath. He thought that many of the traps would be destroyed, but he didn't expect that almost 90% of the traps were destroyed.
Although the basin was a very suitable ambush point, it was also very big.
The width of the slope was 500 meters. There was no problem for 400 soldiers to charge directly.
Originally, the Heavenly Dragon Empire had set up 500 bulldozers, 100 catapults, rolling logs, and countless kerosene barrels here.
But now, there were only a few that could be used. One could imagine how thoroughly the beastmen destroyed them.
Fortunately, Xu Tianyu had the Bomb Fruit. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to stop the 100,000 soldiers of the Wild Lion Tribe.
"Do you know where the Wild Lion Tribe is now?"
This time, An Yi didn't answer. Instead, he looked at a strong man next to him.
His name was Hu Yi, and he was the captain of the Ferocious Tiger Guards.
In this operation, the Shadow Guards and Fierce Tiger Guards did not participate in the encirclement and annihilation of Baron Ronald's black-armored knights.
Instead, they were acting as intelligence personnel on the periphery, acting for the support organization.
"Tiger One greets Young Master Tenyu and General Todd. Ten minutes ago, the Wild Lion tribe's troops entered the basin.
Among them, a thousand Fierce Boar Cavalry have already entered the center of the basin as the vanguard. It is estimated that they will arrive here in two hours. "
"Fierce Boar Cavalry, huh …"
Beside him, Todd sneered inwardly, but his expression didn't relax.
The Fierce Boar Cavalry was originally the elite troop class of the Porcupine Tribe. Every Fierce Boar that was used as a mount was a rank 1 magical beast.
And to ride a magic beast, every knight must have the strength of a beginner knight.
However, the Wild Lion Tribe destroyed the Porcupine Tribe.
It was obvious that the Fierce Boar Cavalry that was sent out now would be used as cannon fodder to scout the way for the Wild Lion Tribe.
However, Todd now had the Dragon Armor Army. Basically, he completely suppressed the Fierce Boar Cavalry in all aspects.
Todd suddenly thought of something and asked solemnly.
"Hu Yi, did you see any cavalry riding lions among the beastmen?"
Hu Yi thought for a moment and nodded.
"Indeed, as General Todd said, there are about 500 Lion Cavalry in the middle of the beastmen.
The lions are very big, more than three meters tall. Moreover, each cavalry is emitting a terrifying aura. They are very vigilant. "
