He knew that the reason why he leveled up so quickly this time was that during the novice test, all the experience points would be multiplied by ten.
Otherwise, for cannon fodder like the Slime, the system might not even give him a single bit of experience.
However, leveling up was not without benefits. The City Lord's Mansion, which was originally only 50 to 60 square meters, doubled in size because of the leveling up.
The originally crowded City Lord's Mansion now looked like what a City Lord's Mansion should look like.
At the same time, the unlocked houses, walls, and barracks were all things that he urgently needed now.
This was especially true for the military camp. If he could convert all the farmers into soldiers, he would be able to obtain even more combat power. He would be able to have a better chance of surviving the upcoming battles.
However, not to mention that he did not have the materials to build a barracks, he did not want to waste the farmers' labor to convert the slimes' combat power into soldiers.
"Ding, City 5354, the second wave of monsters' attack time has ended. Unable to eliminate all the enemies, the remaining monsters of the second wave will attack together with the third wave."
The sudden notification made Xu Tianyu slightly stunned. The joy of leveling up the city suddenly disappeared.
"Strange, didn't we eliminate all the slimes of the second wave?"
Xu Tianyu asked in confusion. The White Devil and Hu Tiannan, who ran to Xu Tianyu's side, were also puzzled.
They had just seen the city leveling up and were not too surprised. After all, it was not the first time they had experienced it, so they were still calm.
Moreover, the City Lord's Mansion had increased in size, so the two of them did not need to defend inside. Instead, they came to the front line like Xu Tianyu.
"Forget it, ignore them and prepare to face the third wave of monsters. The enemy is coming."
The third wave of monsters did not give Xu Tianyu too much time to think and had already appeared at the entrance of the cave.
"Damn, it's still slimes. Don't you think that we are being looked down on by the network?"
Looking at the blue, round creatures that appeared at the entrance of the cave, Hu Tiannan teased.
"Maybe, but isn't this good?"
Xu Tianyu said with a smile. If he could easily pass the test, of course, he would not be willing to risk his life.
"I think it's good too."
White Devil also smiled. Clearly, such a situation made them feel very relaxed. The pressure that the Internet had brought to them was suddenly gone.
'Ding … congratulations Master for killing a Slime, + 10 experience points.'
'Ding! Congratulations on killing a slime. You have gained 10 experience points.'
'Ding! Congratulations on killing a slime. You have gained 10 experience points.'
…
The system prompt kept ringing in Xu Tianyu's ears. At the same time, the hunt was coming to an end.
The number of Slimes in the third wave increased the EXP of Tenyu City by half.
However, Xu Tianyu had already discovered the problem. Although the slimes were trash, killing them required a lot of effort. There were several thousand slimes in the third wave. After killing them, Xu Tianyu and the others felt a little tired.
White Devil and Hu Tiannan had also discovered the problem. The three of them looked at each other and retreated.
"For the fourth wave of attacks, we'll let Marzaha's Nether Beasts block it. We'll conserve our strength for the critical moment. According to our calculations, the number of Slimes will exceed 100,000 by the tenth wave."
Xu Tianyu said with a serious expression.
