Xu Tianyu handed Huang Jiajie the Wave Stacking Saber Technique he got from Shredder.
"Alright, Tenyu. What brings you here?"
"Nothing much. The Divine Tree Warships are still being manufactured, so the consumption of Origin Distillate is very high. I came to see if you can maintain the supply of Origin Distillate.
"Speaking of which, I was just about to look for you. It's very difficult to obtain shells now. Our current Origin Distillate can only last for two more months."
Xu Tianyu wasn't surprised to hear this. After all, it took time for the shells to grow. It was normal for them to not be able to keep up with the consumption.
"By the way, can you find a substitute?"
Huang Jiajie shook his head. "We've been looking for one since the beginning, but the effect isn't very good. Other items with absorption attributes can't perfectly fuse with energy stones. There will be impurities in them, which will affect the purity of the Origin Distillate."
"Then try your best to develop it. The warships might not be the decisive factor. You can shift your focus to these techniques."
After all, they had already begun to conquer the Dark Mainland. The usage of warships would be reduced. The later battles would mainly focus on land battles.
"Yeah, I have the same idea. I already have some ideas, but I still need time to verify them."
"Alright, take your time. I'll be heading back first."
Xu Tianyu bade farewell to Huang Jiajie and returned to the laboratory in Tenyu City.
"Tenyu, you're back. We've thought about it. After manufacturing ten Divine Tree Warships, we plan to shift our research to the Mutated Blood Bats of the Dark Mainland."
Chen Guang said immediately upon seeing Xu Tianyu.
"Yeah, that's pretty good. However, the prerequisite for transforming creatures is that they must have some combat strength in addition to certain detection skills."
Although the Blood Bats of the Dark Mainland were very good at speed and detection, their combat strength was too weak. Even a player could kill them.
This kind of modified creature undoubtedly didn't meet Xu Tianyu's requirements.
"Yes, we have the same idea. The White Devil has sent us the latest news from the frontline. Considering that there should be more types of underground creatures in the Dark Mainland, our next biological modification project is to modify pangolins."
As Chen Guang spoke, he brought Xu Tianyu in.
"The White Devil has already given us a lot of pangolins in advance. These are the more common clawed pangolins. They mainly strengthen their claws and increase their attack power and digging speed. However, their defense is a little weak."
"This is the Black Shield Pangolin. Their main growth path is the scales on their body. Their defense is so strong that even the Exploding Fruit can't harm them."
"We are now planning to fuse the characteristics of these two types of pangolins, and then add some metals and attribute stones to increase the pangolin's attributes."
"Very good."
Xu Tianyu was very satisfied with this result. If the modified pangolins could really become the kings of the Dark Mainland, it would be a powerful first step in their invasion of the Dark Mainland.
"However, we've encountered a problem," Chen Guang said as he looked at Zhuang He, who was walking over.
"Hah … Because we don't have a deep understanding of animals, we're still in a blind spot when it comes to animal characteristics. So, I plan to have you find some animal experts."
