"Raise your shields!"
Jiang Tai shouted. The shieldbearers on his left and right recovered from their shock and stabbed their shields into the ground below.
Almost a third of the shields were stabbed into the ground.
This scene surprised the shieldbearers. In the past, their shields were only a dozen centimeters deep at most, which couldn't achieve the effect of General Defense.
Now, it was different. All they had to do was support the shields and prevent the enemy from falling. The cavalry wouldn't be able to break through their defensive line.
Just as they were ready, the dark cavalry arrived. The sound of galloping hooves rang deeply in the ears of every soldier.
In the past, when they heard such sounds, they were more or less afraid. Now, they didn't have such a feeling. They only felt hot-blooded. Their boiling blood made them look forward to the upcoming battle and yearn to win this battle.
Seeing this scene, Jiang Tai and Dong Liang were shocked. They both knew that it was Xu Tianyu and the others who were able to create such an effect.
Now, Jiang Tai was a little tempted. He wanted to keep Cheyenne in the army. With such a capable person who could increase his status at any time, he would definitely be invincible on the battlefield in the future.
However, he also knew that this was impossible. He was just thinking about it. He didn't have Xu Tianyu's charisma to have so many powerhouses by his side.
At this moment, the sound of the dark cavalry's hooves was approaching. Seeing the shieldbearers who were ready for battle, the dark cavalry sneered.
They hadn't fought with the Azure Dragon soldiers for a day or two. Both sides understood each other very well.
They knew very well that the Azure Dragon shieldbearers had no way of stopping their charge.
"Brothers, charge! Scatter them! Next, it's time for our massacre."
"Roar …"
All the dark cavalry roared. It was as if they could already see the scene of them slaughtering the Azure Dragon soldiers.
However, in the next moment, they stepped onto the icy path that Yang Qin had left for them. Many of the horses slipped as soon as they stepped on the slippery surface.
The high altitude movement caused the horses to fall and cripple their legs. The dark cavalrymen riding on the horses didn't even have time to react before they fell to their deaths. The huge impact caused their corpses to continue moving forward.
In this scene, many dark cavalrymen died before they could even touch the enemy.
The cavalry at the back saw the miserable state of the cavalry at the front and wanted to stop, but they were already charging. Even if he could stop them, it didn't mean that the people behind him could stop them.
"Bang …"
It was a scene of flesh to flesh collision. There was not the slightest bit of luck to speak of. All of them died.
The Dark Cavalryman's corpse was the last to approach the Azure Dragon Shieldbearer. There wasn't much of the impact left, so the Shieldbearer easily blocked it.
The corpses also became an obstacle for the charging dark cavalry.
"Shieldbearers, advance! Kill!"
Of course, Jiang Tai wouldn't let go of such an opportunity. He immediately ordered his soldiers to counterattack. The shieldbearers raised their swords and slashed down, killing a child with each swing.
Xu Tianyu knew that the situation here had stabilized, so he turned his attention to the middle army next to him.
As expected, the old man beside Chen Liang made his move. However, the Gold-ranked Bone Dragon was no match for the old man. After wreaking havoc for a while, it was suppressed by the old man.
Without the bone dragons harassing them, the soldiers in the middle army also began to fight the dark cavalry. Chaos was the only word that could describe the current situation.
