The appearance of Du Lan and Fu Chao added a lot of sparks to the competition.
However, it didn't affect the intense competition this time.
The champion of the competition this time was Chen Mu, Qiu Tian, and a disciple named Shi Lei.
Shi Lei could be considered a dark horse because his body was dark and he cultivated a body technique.
Shi Lei was a body-tempering cultivator. He had trained his muscles all his life. Coupled with his earth-grade technique, Golden Bell Shield, no enemy could break through his defense.
Although he hadn't reached the level of invulnerability, it was only a matter of time.
Two dark horses had actually appeared in today's Sect Grand Competition, which really surprised the disciples.
However, this didn't affect their mood to watch the show. Moreover, because of this uncertainty, it made the competition even more grand.
"Alright, now for the finals. Chen Mu, Qiu Tian, Shi Lei, and Bing Yue, the four of you will take turns."
"According to the results of the draw, Chen Mu will fight Qiu Tian and Shi Lei will fight Bing Yue. The competition starts now."
The elder judge retreated and the surrounding disciples started cheering.
"I didn't expect my opponent this year to be you."
Chen Mu slowly pulled out his sword. Although he was proud, he was definitely not arrogant.
After these few competitions, Chen Mu realized that Qiu Tian was really strong.
He knew it from the fact that he basically killed his opponents with a single punch in every competition.
"Hehe, I didn't expect it either. I hope you can make me throw a second punch."
"Arrogant."
Chen Mu was angry, but he tried his best to control his emotions.
He wouldn't be so easily angered by Qiu Tian.
In the arena, Chen Mu and Qiu Tian were testing each other and didn't attack directly.
The disciples who were watching at the side couldn't help but feel excited.
"Do you think Senior Brother Chen Mu is stronger or Senior Brother Qiu Tian?"
"Of course it's Senior Brother Chen Mu. He's always been the champion in the competition. I think this year will be no exception."
"It's hard to say. Senior Brother Qiu Tian is also very strong. His opponents were basically killed with a single punch. Qiu Tian used five years to deceive us and at the same time, he also used five years to hide. Now that he's unleashed his full strength, it will be a shocking battle."
"Senior Brother Chen Mu has already broken through to the Foundation Establishment stage. A twenty-three-year-old Foundation Establishment genius is enough to leave his name in the Central Continent. If Senior Brother Qiu Tian had not broken through, Senior Brother Chen Mu would have a higher chance of winning this battle."
"I think so too, Senior Brother Chen Mu. The gap between the Qi Refinement Realm and the Foundation Establishment Realm is not something that can be bridged with a simple Martial Skill."
"How do you know that Senior Brother Qiu Tian isn't a Foundation Establishment expert?"
"Haha, Senior Brother Qiu Tian, I only know that he is 18 years old. If Senior Brother Qiu Tian is really a Foundation Establishment Stage expert, then the entire central continent will be shaken. This is no longer something that can be described as a genius, they are called monsters."
"Moreover, such an evildoer is highly sought after by high-level sects. Even Saint-level sects want him. Maybe in the future, our Jadeflame Pavilion will be able to take a step forward."
"Haha ~"
After that disciple finished speaking, he laughed, and the surrounding disciples also laughed.
If what he said was true, how could Qiu Tian still stay in the Jadeflame Pavilion?
Even if he stayed in the Jade Flame Pavilion, how could he just be an ordinary disciple? He would have long been accepted as a pro-disciple by the elders or the Sect Master.
In the arena, the battle had begun.
Chen Mu made the first move because Qiu Tian was too calm. He had been standing there the whole time and had no intention of attacking.
