"What's going on?"
The Great Yong marshal turned his head, his expression suddenly turning serious.
"This?!
This is … "
He looked at the scene in front of him in shock.
Behind the Great Yong army, large amounts of smoke and dust were rising up.
The enormous flying dust that covered the sky condensed into the shape of dark clouds in the sky.
And within those dark clouds, what seemed to be riding the clouds and circling towards them were actually large groups of … Demonic Beasts!
"Heavens!"
Everyone on the battlefield was attracted by the sound in the distance.
Regardless of whether they were from Great Yong or Great Chu, they were all shocked, their mouths wide open as they looked at the scene in the distance.
Suddenly, the Great Yong army reacted.
This huge wave of beasts that came out of nowhere was actually coming from behind them.
Didn't this mean that they would be the first to face this wave of demonic beasts' attack?
In an instant, the Great Yong army panicked.
"Run!
Quickly run! "
This was especially true for the Great Yong army in the rear, who had just arrived with the Great Yong marshal, who was panicking to the extreme.
Being at the rear, they could feel the terror of this wave of demonic beasts more than anyone else.
Especially the demonic beasts that were charging at the front …
Heavens!
They were all sacred beasts!
Seeing this terrifying wave of demonic beasts that made them unable to resist, the first reaction of the Great Yong army was to run!
However, they were all facing Great Yong's army, and behind them was a large wave of demonic beasts. Where could they run to?
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The large wave of demonic beasts rushed over, instantly trampling them into meat paste!
Many people didn't even have the time to scream before they were trampled to death by the demonic beasts!
There were even people who were directly dismembered by the demonic beasts. In just an instant, they were torn into pieces of blood that were even finer than minced meat.
"Ah!"
A large number of Great Yong soldiers cried as they fled, screaming and trampling on each other.
The entire elite and valiant Great Yong army was in chaos, no longer as domineering and arrogant as before!
As for the Great Yong army that was besieging the city, they desperately fled in all directions, not caring about attacking at all.
"All of you, stop!"
The Great Yong marshal's face was filled with shock and anger.
He didn't know where the Beast Tide had come from, nor did he know how it had appeared behind them.
But if they didn't stop him as soon as possible, the consequences would be unimaginable!
"Scatter the Beast Repelling Powder!"
He shouted harshly.
"It's useless!
Marshal! "
A Great Yong general, who had luckily escaped from the rear, was covered in blood. His complexion crumbled as he cried out, "These demonic beasts seem to have gone mad. The Beast Repelling Powder is completely useless!"
What?!
The Great Yong marshal's face was filled with shock.
He grabbed Empress Dowager Yan Xi and was about to personally go over to resist.
Right at this moment …
Boom!
A dazzling sword-light that seemed to have suddenly shot out from the river of time and space slashed at him violently.
This sword slashed through the sky and headed straight for the heavens!
It flew towards him like the Milky Way.
Boom!
The Great Yong marshal dodged to the side.
But this sword light cut through the aura around him and the imprisonment on Empress Dowager Yan Xi.
With a swish, the latter broke free from his grasp and landed on the city wall.
"Who is it?!"
The Great Yong marshal's face was filled with anger, and he looked viciously in the direction of the attack.
