The one who defeated Alice's team was none other than the Dragon Emperor Knights!
It turned out that yesterday, Alice's Wind King Knights happened to be in the vicinity. After discovering the Dragon Emperor Knights' defeat, a battle ensued. In the end, even though Leola had lost her ability to fight, Yuri and another knight were equally matched with Alice's team. At the crucial moment, the other two hidden members of the Dragon Emperor Knights launched a pincer attack on the Wind King Knights!
Dragon-type sprites were still very powerful. Yuri alone defeated Alice, and a few Wind King Knights escorted Alice as she retreated …
Although knights couldn't abandon their companions, the Wind King Knights didn't want to lose just like that. They strongly urged Alice to leave and continue fighting.
Because Alice fled in the direction of Feng Yuchen's Sacred Maiden Squad, she wasn't chased.
"Drink some hot soup first. You haven't eaten for a day, right?"
Linslet wrapped herself in an apron and brought over a bowl of meat soup.
"Many thanks …"
Alice bit her lip and drank it. After drinking, she immediately stood up, "I can't take too much care of you guys. I have to continue fighting, I can't let Raqael and Reicia down!"
"Alright, really. In your current state, you'll be chased away by wild beasts if you go out …"
Linslet seemed to be especially good at taking care of people.
"How gentle. Linslet actually knows how to cook and wash clothes. As a young miss, she actually knows these things. This is really too surprising."
Feng Yuchen couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.
"Hmph … If I want to do it, I can definitely do it well …"
Crell placed her hands on her hips and snorted.
(You only know how to make charcoal + _ +)
"I'm very proficient in these essential skills of nobility!"
Linslet said confidently.
"These shouldn't be essential skills of nobility, right?
Cooking, washing clothes, taking care of people, aren't these what a maid should do? "
Fiana pressed her slender fingers on her face and said doubtfully.
"How could it be what a servant should do? Sure enough, you guys don't have the qualities of a young miss!
It's the job of the nobles to provide delicious food that they personally made for the lower ranks. This is the duty of the nobles. That's what Carol taught me. You really should find an excellent maid like Carol! "
Linslet said proudly. Such an intelligent maid was truly a hot commodity. As expected, it was great to have Karo around.
"Err … Don't your maids usually cook?"
Feng Yuchen couldn't help but ask, as if a certain maid was very scary.
"Of course, how could a maid cook? It should be the master who provides delicious food. I practiced for a long time at the beginning …"
Linslet nodded.
"Eh, did you wash the clothes too?"
Feng Yuchen's body trembled.
"Of course …"
"Like sweeping the floor or something …"
"It's also me …"
"What does your maid do?"
"Supervise and urge me to do everything well, and strive to become the world's number one noble!"
Linslet said gratifyingly, "Carol really is an excellent maid. It's all because of her that I've learned so many skills. But if I didn't look after her, would I be able to wake up on time? I don't know if I would be able to eat by myself in the morning. QAQ, I'm so worried …"
Alright, a certain 'extremely daring' maid deceived a young miss!
What the hell, how is this a maid taking care of a young miss, it's a young miss taking care of a maid!
"Linslet, you're really too kind!"
Feng Yuchen placed his hands on Linslet's shoulders and looked at her sympathetically. You've worked too hard, Linslet.
"Then shouldn't I, who's so kind …"
Linslet grabbed the corner of her clothes with her small hands and said with a red face, "Marry you …"
"Err …"
Feng Yuchen was stunned.
Marry your sister!
"Oh, it's fine if you marry me …"
Linslet lightly harrumphed and said with her hands on her hips, "It's fine for me to bear with it a bit, since the Saintess is so fragrant …"
This — —
Who the hell is fragrant!
Feng Yuchen immediately ignored Linslet and looked towards Alice, saying, "Err, if you don't mind, I'd like to invite you to join my Saintess Squad, because Goddess Feng Zao withdrew halfway, and you don't want it to end so easily, right?
Actually, we have some grudges with the Dragon Emperor's Knight squad, so wouldn't we be able to stand together against a common enemy? "
"This …"
Alice bit her lips. If she was by herself, she definitely wouldn't be able to get through the upcoming crisis. She knew that it was impossible to continue fighting by herself.
"I … No, we need you, Alice!
Join us, I've always wanted to invite you, but I knew that you have your own knight squad, so I stopped until now. Adding on that Twilight Witch's order, I had no choice but to let Goddess Feng Zao join our squad, but I was prepared to invite you from the very beginning.
You also don't want the Sword Dance Festival to end like this, right?
You also want to taste the fruits of victory, right?
You also have your own wishes to be fulfilled, right?
So come. "
Feng Yuchen said as he looked into Alice's eyes.
"I have my own squad, and, and …"
Alice hesitated. She indeed had no reason to refuse the Saintess' invitation, but wouldn't that be too much of a shortcut?
"Saintess is really too much, just push her down, wouldn't that make Alice yours?"
Fiana said as she licked her lips.
"Go to the side and stay there!
Anyway, Alice, you have to think about it carefully. It's fine as long as you make a decision before the finals. It doesn't matter if you don't want to join, you can only invite Verthalia or the Zombie Loli … "
Feng Yuchen stood up, looked at the other 3 members, and said, "Alright, Mina, it's time to fight. Our next targets are the Kooena Empire's 4 Gods, they happen to be near our camp …"
"En, then we can't wait for them to finish setting up their stronghold. Their stronghold has just been established, and their strength is neither strong nor weak, just right for our next target …"
Creed was very unhappy about yesterday's battle, after all, they were besieged, and now they were going to launch a surprise attack on other squads!
"I agree, the best defense is offense!
I don't like to wait for rabbits to come to me, this time we have to have a good fight, a 1 on 1 battle! "
Linslet also had the same mood, yesterday was really sullen, so today she had to find a squad to vent her anger!
