Nalan Xiu gritted his teeth and glared at me with hatred in his eyes. He shouted, "Are you threatening I?"
I didn't say anything else. My Scarlet Heaven Sword flashed with flames, and Nalan Xiu's body was immediately torn to shreds. White light scattered, and even his S4 chest armor was revealed.
Nalan Xiu's expression grew uglier and uglier. He glared at me and shouted, "You can kill me, but you can't humiliate me."
I smiled faintly and pointed at the S4 equipment on the ground. "As long as you tell me the truth, I won't touch a single piece of equipment on the ground. I'll return them to you."
Nalan Xiu was immediately moved. There was nothing more joyous than regaining something that had been lost.
… …
"Tell me, why is the Black Purgatory targeting Snow Moon?" I asked.
Nalan Xiu looked at the equipment on the ground, but he couldn't pick them up because he was inside the Blood Barrier. He gritted his teeth and said, "This is our guild's secret."
"Cut the crap and tell me!" Ling Xue threatened fiercely. "If you dare to spout any more nonsense, I'll kill you back to Level 0!"
Nalan Xiu didn't know what was going on. His body trembled and his face was filled with despair. He looked up to the sky and sighed. "Never mind, it doesn't matter if I tell you.
The Black Purgatory is a workshop formed by a group of graduates. Their leader is Nalan Feng, a Top 100 player on the Heavenly Ranking. You know him, right? "
I shook my head. "I don't …"
Nalan Xiu's expression grew uglier. "I don't know why we attacked Snow Moon either. In short, it was the guild leader's order. Snow Moon focuses on White Cloud City's territory, so they aren't very strong in the outer regions. Players like us who have been in the outer regions for a long time have no reason to admit defeat to Snow Moon."
"Just because of this?"
I raised my sword and cut into Nalan Xiu's neck. Blood sprayed everywhere. He was probably in so much pain that he wanted to die.
"Uh …"
Nalan Xiu groaned miserably and said, "Only the Guild Master knows those secrets. We're just normal members who play the game for fun, so we won't look too deeply into the cause and effect."
It seemed like he wouldn't be able to get any secrets out of this person.
I withdrew the Scarlet Heaven Sword and said, "You should leave. Don't come back."
"Oh …"
Nalan Xiu angrily lowered his head and picked up the equipment. The moment I came into contact with the Blood Barrier, he immediately turned around and left. After walking for about ten yards, he entered Stealth.
I couldn't help but sneer. With Star Eyes, there was nowhere for him to hide. What was he hiding for?
"He's still not giving up?" Ling Xue asked in the team chat.
"Yeah, he's following us from afar. It seems like … he's calling friends?"
Qin Yun couldn't help but smile, "Looks like we're going to be targeted. It won't be long before many Black Purgatory people come to attack us."
I turned around and asked, "All of you have an invincibility skill, right?"
The girls all nodded in unison.
"Then it's easy. Go all out and kill them. If we can't kill them, we'll use our invincibility skill and return to the city.
If the Black Purgatory dares to provoke Snow Moon, then we should return the favor. Otherwise, they'll think that Snow Moon is a pushover. "
"Okay!"
… …
As we stepped on the dark soil of the hills, we took care of a few mindless mobs. We walked very slowly. The purpose of this trip was to have a direct confrontation with these guilds and figure out what their intentions were. If they really were enemies of Xue Yue, then we would lead our army into the Outer Lands and wipe them out.
"In a moment, if they have a lot of people, warriors, pay attention to protecting the players of other classes. Xiao Xue, take Ling Yue and ride your dragon into the sky. That way, you can avoid a lot of attacks. Qin Yun, follow me. Bing Cha, you take Fragrance and have your Xiezhi escape at full speed. Ling Xue and I will cover our attacks from the sky. That way, we won't lose." I made arrangements for the battle.
The girls nodded excitedly.
Soon, I became alert. "They're here!"
As expected, the Black Purgatory were natives of the Outer Lands. They came and went like the wind. In less than fifteen minutes, many players were quickly approaching us. Eye of the Star showed at least twenty blue dots quickly approaching our coordinates. Also, there were a few assassins following us at a moderate distance.
"It looks like we're going to start a massacre today," I said indifferently.
Ling Yue said, "It's fine. It's not like our names are red. Just think of it as getting equipment!"
"That's what I was thinking!"
With a clang, I pulled out Scarlet Heaven Sword. In the sky above my head, T-rex whistled past. Ling'Er, wearing a full set of War God equipment, danced in the air, silver cyclones wrapped around her body. It was a beautiful sight.
A few minutes later, the enemy's numbers increased. They seemed to notice our vigilance and were in no hurry to attack. It seemed like they were waiting for more people to arrive before attacking.
Ling Xue called out softly, and the Amethyst Dragon glided down. In a flash, the little beauty rushed onto the dragon's back. She turned around and pulled Ling Yue up. Prepare for battle!
Bing Cha also pulled Chrysanthemum Daohana up. The warrior class's ability to break through was far superior to the mage class. We definitely had no problem killing our way out.
For now, I didn't know the depth of this Black Purgatory guild. Judging from the quality of their players, their average level should be no lower than Soul Battle Robes'. Guilds that had been in the Outer Lands for many years were always full of surprises. The leaves on the hill swayed, and a group of Black Purgatory melee players rode over. One of them was a Holy Domain player, and the rest were high-level warriors wearing S-series equipment. This lineup alone was enough to dominate an area.
I didn't get on the dragon's back. I reached out to grab Qin Yun's hand and slowly walked forward. I didn't dare to be too far away from Qin Yun. There were too many assassins here, and a moment of carelessness could one-shot Qin Yun and send her back.
Qin Yun didn't struggle when I grabbed her hand. She smiled and followed me.
Facing a group of Black Purgatory Warriors, I let out a soft shout and entered my Holy Domain transformation state. I raised my Scarlet Heaven Sword horizontally, and layers of blue frost swirled around the blade.
I pointed my sword at the attackers and shouted, "Who is in charge of the Black Purgatory?
Come out and speak! "
The warriors didn't say anything. Instead, a black shadow appeared in the air. It was an assassin hiding in ambush. His entire body's color merged with the shrubbery behind him, and I actually didn't notice him!
This was definitely a top-notch assassin!
Nalan Feng, Level 239 Holy Domain Assassin, Guild Leader of the Black Purgatory.
This was a youth around 25 years old. He had delicate features and a lazy look on his face. He wore black leather armor and held a flaming dagger in his hand. It looked like his attack power wasn't low. One look and you could tell that this person was much stronger than Nalan Xiu from before. This was because his eyes were very calm when he looked at people. This kind of person was the most suitable to be an assassin. The more skilled an assassin was, the less murderous they looked. But once they exploded, they could finish off the top experts in a flash. Paralyzing Wind of Sorrow was this kind of smiling Yama.
"I am the guild leader of the Black Purgatory. Why, what do you want?" Nalan Feng smiled faintly.
I put away my sword and said calmly, "The Black Purgatory has been ambushing Snow Moon's teams in the Outer Lands. What are their intentions?
If they want to challenge Snow Moon, they can do it openly. Why do they have to do such a despicable thing? "
Nalan Feng couldn't help but laugh, "The Black Purgatory is a guild formed by hunters. We have always been killing people for their goods. Are you saying that we can kill other people but not those from Snow Moon?"
"That's right, you can't kill them!"
I laughed softly, "Since you ambushed Snow Moon today, I will pay you back tenfold!
However, if you were ordered by someone, then tell me who ordered you and take out the chat records. Then, everything can be discussed. Who knows, Snow Moon and the Black Purgatory might become allies. "
Nalan Feng laughed coldly, "Forget it!
We don't need an ally like Snow Moon. You should have thought of that when you killed Nalan Xiu. "
Bing Cha was furious. He raised the Emperor Fall Sword and said, "I gave you face, but you don't want it. Scholar, what nonsense are you talking about? Who cares if they are Black Purgatory? Trample them!
To this day, Snow Moon won't compromise! "
"Is that so?"
Nalan Feng smiled confidently. He raised his arm and shouted, "Warriors of the Black Purgatory, let's fight!
In front of us is the so-called number one party in China, Snow Moon. Kill them, and we can become famous in the Outer Lands. Cang Ya, Triumph, and the other guilds will be jealous! "
As he said that, Nalan Feng glanced at my equipment and said, "I heard that Frivolous Scholar is wearing the famous Eternal Set on the Heavenly Ranking. It's a full set of Heavenly God Equipment. If he drops one, he won't have to worry about food and water for the rest of his life. How bold you are, how rich you are. Today is the day to make a name for yourself!"
Immediately, a dense horde of players swarmed out from one side of the mountain ridge. At the very least, several hundred archers and mages had already arrived at the scene. They had long since prepared for this. Every Saint fighter was a lion, and the prerequisite to hunting these lions was to have high-level archers and mages. Under the encirclement of these Saint fighters, nobody could stop them.
"Damn, it looks like they're going all out!" Bing Cha smiled.
"Take Fragrance with you and take it easy. Let us charge first!"
As I spoke, T-rex descended from the sky. The Black Purgatory was shocked. Clearly, the battle to defend against the Twilight Ranger on Snow Moon had just ended, so there weren't many people who knew that I was a living T-rex mount. These people spent most of their time in the Outer Lands, so they didn't know about this until now.
I grabbed Qin Yun's waist and jumped onto the dragon's back. I shouted, "Xiaoqing, kill!"
T-Rex roared and stamped on the ground with its hind legs. Its body soared into the air and it charged into the crowd of Black Purgatory. Scarlet Heaven Sword slashed down and the entire hill shook. This casual slash left a deep mark on the ground. Seven or eight Black Purgatory archers flew back to the city in a flash of white light.
Nalan Feng disappeared at the first moment. His order came from the void, "Stun arrows, attack indiscriminately!"
Swoosh swoosh swoosh!
Sharp arrows flew over, but they were all deflected by T-rex's tough armor. These archers' attack power was just too weak, and they couldn't break through my defense at all.
Ling Xue took the opportunity to land. Her Eternal Ice Blade brought with it countless ice lotuses, and a group of Black Purgatory players were turned into piles of ice. This kind of attack power was far beyond what the Black Purgatory players could handle. Although they were hunters that many players feared in the Outer Lands, they hadn't experienced the blood and rain of the Nation Wars. In terms of combat power, how could they be a match for Snow Moon?
As a ground knight, Bing Cha didn't back down at all. He swung his sword and killed the Black Purgatory players one by one. His Emperor Fall Sword unleashed one critical strike after another, killing a group of Black Purgatory players!
While he was charging, Bing Cha suddenly stopped moving. A blood-colored diagram appeared above his head, and a black figure appeared behind him. It was the guild leader of the Black Purgatory — Nalan Feng!
As expected, Nalan Feng's control wasn't normal!
His entire body was wrapped in a white whirlpool. His dagger slashed across Bing Cha's back, and he shouted, "Break!"
“482743！”
Although the damage from the attack was not much, it was obvious that Bing Tea's mount's Tenacity had plummeted. If the attack landed again, Bing Tea's Xiezhi's Mount status would be destroyed. Once the Mount status was interrupted, Bing Tea's unmounted combat ability would be reduced sharply. That would be dangerous!
I hurriedly got close and opened my hand. "Radiant Holy Armor!"
Whoosh!
A golden crystal wall appeared around Bing Cha. At the same time, Nalan Feng plunged his dagger into Bing Cha's neck. He didn't have the slightest bit of compassion for the fairer sex.
Of course, when faced with a fierce Thunder Swordsman like Bing Cha, having compassion for the fairer sex would only lead to death.
"Bang!"
My attack was reflected!
Nalan Feng's attack had been completely deflected. Moreover, it was the greatest damage he had received!
“1173427！”
If Bing Cha had been hit, he would definitely have taken a lot of damage.
However, Nalan Feng didn't die even after being shot like that. His HP just hit rock bottom and then immediately recovered to full. This situation — he had a special skill called "Rebirth"!
Or maybe he had an extremely powerful "Rebirth" skill!
As expected, a person who could lead a legendary guild like the Black Purgatory definitely had some skill!
Rustle rustle...
Qin Yun landed accurately on the ground and raised her staff. Goddess' Elegy replenished Bing Cha's lost HP. At the same time, her mount's tenacity was greatly restored.
I quickly reattached Qin Yun onto the dragon's back. Ling Er had already charged into the crowd, and Ling Xue was chasing after hundreds of people. The players of the Black Purgatory had overestimated themselves. They thought that they could shake the Dragon Knight. Who would have thought that their archers couldn't stun Ling Xue at all when she was wearing the [War God Set]? In the end, they were being slaughtered by this beautiful dragon knight.
Nalan Feng saw that the situation wasn't good, so he turned around and left. His body disappeared into the void.
"You want to leave?!"
I raised my hand and shot a Illumination Arrow. Strangely, I still couldn't find a trace of Nalan Feng. There was something fishy about his stealth. He definitely wasn't simple!
Two Dragon Knights and one Xiezhi Knight chased the enemy to the edge of the hill. The Black Purgatory suffered a crushing defeat, and they were like stray dogs.
Not far ahead was a canyon that looked like the mouth of a valley. We drove straight in, but we didn't expect to hear shouts from the trees on both sides. We had fallen into an ambush.
Under the war flag, a knight in golden armor urged his horse forward and laughed. "Well done, Nalan Feng. Leave the rest to us, Triumph. That brat Seven-star Lamp was right. The people of Snow Moon are arrogant and domineering. They don't care about the Falling Moon Alliance at all!"
Qin Yun and I looked at each other, both of us were stunned.
Seven-star Lamp, Falling Moon Alliance?
What was going on?
