"My lady …"
A Dragon Knight examined the fire dragon's head and then walked in front of Bing Lan. He said respectfully, "The Holy Fire Dragon Elder's Dragon Core has been destroyed. He … is dead!"
Bing Lan nodded slightly, her holy face devoid of emotion. "Let's begin. I can feel that Bloodhowl has gathered the other six Holy Dragons. They've discovered us. This battle is unavoidable."
As she spoke, Bing Lan pointed her sword toward the east and ordered, "Aobashi, lead the Dragon Knights there and set up an ambush. Wait for an opportunity to kill the fleeing Holy Dragons. We cannot let them enter Hell Castle, or they will become a great enemy of Longyu. We have lost too much already …"
The young Dragon Knight named "Aobashi" nodded and said firmly, "This subordinate will complete this mission. My lady, you must be careful. Bloodhowl isn't the only one that has bewitched the Seven Holy Dragons. There are over a hundred other dragons in Longyu. They have lost their minds and turned into violent creatures of darkness."
"I know. Go!"
Bing Lan smiled faintly and turned to look at the dense forest in the distance. There was a black mass of birds there, and there was a lot of activity in the forest. That was definitely the resting place of the Evil Dragons. It would be strange if the birds didn't flee in fear under the draconic might.
… …
Suddenly, Bing Lan flew into the distance. The other Dragon Knights did the same.
Now that we've entered battle mode, it's going to be a battle to the death. Who knows, maybe we'll all die here in Hell Castle!
Whoosh!
T-Rex turned into a cyan dragon tattoo and appeared on my shoulder. Blood-red wings unfurled behind me, and my stats skyrocketed. I raised the North Dark Sword and said, "Let's go. We must help, or Bing Lan will lose."
Ling Xue nodded and also entered her Inheritance Transformation. The other five girls also didn't care about conserving their spiritual energy and entered their Saint Transformation. It was hard to say whether the cyclone shield would be able to block the dragon breath, but it was better than nothing.
Bing Cha rode the Xiezhi Giant Beast and wielded the Emperor Fall Sword. Her entire body was surrounded by a purple cyclone, and her faint purple eyes were extremely beautiful. She circled around Ling Yue, Qin Yun, Chrysanthemum Daohana, and Soundless Rain, playing the role of a guard.
In the blink of an eye, earth-shattering roars came from the forest. Countless giant dragons flew out, covering the sky and covering the earth!
Soundless Rain's face was pale with fright, "Oh my god!
How … how were they supposed to kill so many dragons?
Even the weakest of them is a Level 275 Demon Realm Boss. Just one will take us a long time to kill. Isn't this quest a little too tough? "
Bing Cha smiled. "Little Rain, come with me. You'll stun, and I'll attack. It's a piece of cake for the two of us to take down a Demon Realm boss!"
"Mn!"
Battle and Bow charged forward. Ling Yue couldn't help but smile. "Sister Yun, Xiangxiang, the three of us are enough to kill a Demon Realm boss. Let's go, we can't fall behind!"
"Okay!"
The three cloth-armored girls ran along the mountain path, and not long after, they encountered the first giant dragon. Chrysanthemum Daohana's sealing technique was extremely accurate, and the moment she waved her jade flute, the lightning dragon fell into a sealed state. Ling Yue waved her scepter, and the surrounding elements went wild. She unleashed a fierce Ice Storm, dealing millions of damage to the lightning dragon. This damage was just too high!
Ling Xue and I didn't dare to go too far. We stayed in midair, sword light dancing wildly as we killed the giant dragons that were charging at us!
"Bang!"
The North Dark Sword heavily smashed into the head of a Green Dragon. The huge impact caused the Green Dragon to wail and fall to the ground. However, I suddenly felt a heat behind me. I saw that a Demon Domain level Fire Dragon had already poured its dragon breath onto my body!
“840484！”
Fortunately, the Inheritance Whirlpool blocked most of the magic damage. Otherwise, I would have been KO'd in two more hits.
I turned around, [Whirlwind Slash]!
The North Dark Sword's ferocious strike shook the Fire Dragon to the point where it wailed incessantly. I also conveniently gave it a [Divine Dragon Slash]. The Wind Dragon that was flying over from behind had its scales broken, and blood sprayed into the air.
Before I could catch my breath, a clear dragon roar came from above. A black dragon roared, and its scorching dragon breath came from the sky!
I shouted, "Scram!"
With a flying kick, she landed a powerful kick on the lower jaw of the black dragon. Although the Eternal Battle Boots were only a ghostly weapon, they were far superior to ordinary ghostly weapons. The patterns on the boots were elegant, and the scales were like blades. The force of the kick was accompanied by countless cyclones. The black dragon howled in pain, and Ling 'er, who had flown down from the sky, pierced through its skull.
I stayed in the air above Ling Yue and the other girls. Sword light flashed in all directions, and the ordinary giant dragons wailed as if I were swatting flies. Clearly, the hidden attacks of the players of Heaven Domain and the Shrine Protectors were too strong. They were not at a disadvantage against these powerful giant dragons at all!
Not far away, Ling Xue also swung her God's Dancing Sword to fight the four giant dragons. The God's Dancing Sword's attack power was extremely high, and almost every strike was accompanied by giant dragon blood. The defense of normal dragon armor could not withstand the sharpness of the God's Dancing Sword.
Whoosh!
When the Holy Heal landed, I had already pulled back half of my health. Ling Xue asked for help in the party channel, "Sister Qin Yun, Elegy is down …"
Light flashed, and Ling Xue's HP was full again. She continued to fight!
On the ground, Soundless Rain and Bing Cha were fighting a green dragon alone. Ling Yue, Qin Yun, and Chrysanthemum Daohana were working together to kill a thunder dragon. They were relatively safe, or at least they could withstand it!
Not far away, the battle was even more intense!
Hundreds of giant dragons surrounded Bing Lan's Dragon Knight party and attacked them. Dragon breaths bloomed in the sky like fireworks.
"Bang!"
A Dragon Knight used all his might to repel a Giant Dragon in front of him, but he was caught off guard by a flash of blue light above his head. A Frost Dragon flew past him, and the Dragon Knight was instantly turned into a lump of ice by its Frost Breath. Under the bite of three Wind Dragons, the Dragon Knight didn't even get a chance to make a sound before he was dismembered, and his body fell to the ground along with countless pieces of ice.
The Dragon Knight continued to roar and slash left and right with his dragon sword. These former companions had now become slaves of darkness. No one knew what kind of bewitchment had bewitched them, but they had to be killed. If they didn't kill these giant dragons, they would destroy Longyu.
In the air, Bing Lan's beautiful figure stood proudly. The Dragon Slaying Sword flashed with a sharp light. With a light swing, sword energy swept across, and a Wind Dragon was instantly torn in half. Its organs and blood splattered on the ground.
The Ice Orchid flew around silently like an angel from hell. The Dragon Slaying Sword became the Dragon Slaying Sword not only in name but also in reality. In less than ten minutes, at least twenty giant dragons had died under the Dragon Slaying Sword's blade.
… …
The battle to quell the rebellion lasted for more than an hour. Everyone was sweating and blood dyed their battle robes. The number of giant dragons was decreasing. The NPCs seemed to have underestimated them. I did a rough count and there were at least 300 giant dragons participating in the battle. This was because I had killed at least 10 giant dragons, and Bing Lan's Dragon Slaying Sword had killed hundreds of giant dragons!
Ling Yue led Soundless Rain, Qin Yun, and Chrysanthemum Daohana as they ran above the green mountain range. The ground was covered in equipment. These Magic Domain bosses had dropped many good things.
"Wow!
An Earth Divine Equipment ring!
An Earth Divine Equipment ring that increases healing by 45%. Super good … "Ling Yue waved the ring in her hand and smiled at Qin Yun.
Qin Yun reached out to take the ring and took out a necklace. "Here, I picked up an Earth Divine Equipment necklace. It's a top-tier item that doubles the Attack of ice and fire magic!"
Ling Yue was overjoyed.
Chrysanthemum Daohana also got an Anti-Magic Ring. It reduced magic attack damage by 50%. It was definitely a good item. When fighting against mages, this kind of top-tier equipment would become a winning weapon.
Soundless Rain also got something. He got an unparalleled Holy Equipment ring and an Earth Divine Equipment ring. They were both top-tier items that increased Agility and long-range attack. His equipment had greatly improved, and he had become an excellent archer.
Not only did I gain a lot of equipment, I also gained a lot of experience. I even reached Level 278. It was rare that I could still level up at this level!
"Scholar, when you were killing the boss, I saw your Eternal Equipment Set light up twice. What's going on?" Ling Xue flew next to me and asked with a smile.
Under the moonlight, his little girlfriend's beautiful face was very attractive.
I was stunned and hurriedly looked at the equipment. I was shocked!
"This …"
"What's wrong?" Ling Xue tilted her head and looked at me.
I was overjoyed. "The Eternal Equipment Set evolved twice while killing the boss. It's now an unparalleled Holy Equipment Set!
Haha … "
"Congratulations, then. What's going on? Why did you evolve?"
"Maybe it's because killing the boss gives me large amounts of kill points!" I was really sure. That was definitely the case. There was no other explanation.
After evolving to the unparalleled Holy Equipment Set, all my stats increased greatly. In transformation state, I had 20 million Health, which was close to the state before God's Blessing. Without a doubt, when this equipment evolved to Heavenly God Equipment Set, it would reach its previous state. When it evolved to Ancient God Equipment, it would be even more ridiculously strong!
… …
In the distance, Bing Lan lowered her sharp sword. The blood of various giant dragons flowed through the elegant grooves of the Dragon Slaying Sword. Bing Lan looked up to the sky and let out a long sigh. "I have killed too many people. I have let down the Dragon Realm and the Dragon God …"
At the side, a Dragon Rider said solemnly, "Lady, there is no need to blame yourself. These bewitched dragons have turned into evil beings. If you kill them, more humans, elves, and dwarves will be saved. We are the protectors of the continent and killing is also our responsibility. Lady, you are a Dragon Speaker, so it is unavoidable that your hands will be stained with evil blood."
Bing Lan nodded and then her expression suddenly turned stern. "They're here!"
After the battle, a third of the hundred or so Dragon Knights were lost. Now, there were only seventy or so. All of them floated in the air. Many of them were injured, and some even lost an arm or a leg. Blood flowed everywhere, but these powerful warriors did not even make a sound.
Bing Lan looked into the distance and said coolly, "Blood Roar, long time no see. Come out and have a chat?"
Silence.
All of a sudden, a rattling sound could be heard. A middle-aged warrior wearing blood-red dragon-scale armor walked out of the forest. He raised his voice and said, "Ice Orchid, how does it feel to kill your own kind of dragon?"
This person was the ninth of the ten bosses in Spirit of Grief — Black Wing Devourer Blood Roar!
