"My ass!"
After Dragon Soul kicked Xing Tian down the fifth floor, he also quickly entered. I followed closely behind. Ling Yue and Zi Yun 'er walked in side by side, and Gui Zhi brought up the rear. If a mob suddenly appeared, he would be the one to be insta-killed.
The moment we entered the fifth floor, we felt a gust of cold wind. The surrounding temperature suddenly dropped, and it actually felt very cold!
When Ling Yue and Zi Yun 'er appeared together, the two of them immediately let out a cry of surprise. Ling Yue immediately tightened her robe while Zi Yun' er crossed her arms in front of her chest, making her imposing aura even more prominent.
When we looked in front of us, we finally sucked in a cold breath in unison —
Dead gray hair danced wildly, golden armor and a purple cape fluttered in the wind. In front of us was a sword-wielding skeleton. His empty eye sockets actually exuded an unparalleled aura. When he looked at us, it was as though he was looking at a group of ants, filled with disdain.
Ten Thousand Year Skeleton King (Gold-grade Boss)
Level:???
Attack:???
Defense:???
HP:???
Passive: Ten thousand years ago, a king died here. His anger and unwillingness to accept defeat caused him to revive. Now, the Skeleton King is leading an army from hell in an attempt to sweep the Spirit of Grief Continent...
Everyone was dumbfounded. Xing Tian's eyes widened as he said, "Oh my god, a Gold-tier boss. Our end is coming!"
Dragon Soul gripped his greatsword tightly. "Calm down!
Calm down!
We are going to kill him. Whether we live or die depends on today! "
Gui Zhi said, "Unfortunately, I can't equip the Annihilation set right now. Otherwise, I might actually be able to kill this boss!"
Ling Yue opened her seductive mouth and murmured, "It's actually a Gold-grade Boss. Scholar, we're rich..."
I said, "When do we act?"
After my reminder, not only did everyone come to their senses, even the Skeleton King suddenly opened his eyes. Instantly, a cold light shot out from his eye sockets, causing everyone who looked at him to shiver uncontrollably!
The Skeleton King's warhorse had also turned into bones, but it was still wearing armor. With a long neigh, its iron hooves stomped on the ground a few times, and then it galloped forward at lightning speed!
Whoosh ~!
A cold light flashed. The sharp sword in Skeleton King's hand shone brightly. Light flowed on the blade. It was clearly not an ordinary weapon!
"Careful!"
The Dragon Soul let out a low cry. Xing Tian, who bore the brunt of the attack, hurriedly used his battle axe to block his chest. With a crisp "ding", the Skeleton King's sword actually sent Xing Tian flying. When he landed on the rock wall with a "bang", he had lost more than half of his Health Points!
Everyone paled. Xing Tian should have successfully defended just now, but he still lost more than a thousand HP. If he was hit directly by the Skeleton King, would he still be alive?
Ling Yue immediately said, "Everyone, spread out and use Frost to slow him down. He's too fast!"
As the highest-leveled player in China, everyone naturally obeyed Ling Yue's orders. Everyone quickly spread out. I was shocked to find that the Skeleton King's next target was Zi Yun 'er!
And so, I quickly fired an Armor Piercing Arrow. A snow-white light flashed and exploded on the back of the Skeleton King. The damage number was acceptable — "542!"
Zi Yun 'er was so scared that her face turned purple. She immediately shot me a grateful smile. I didn't even have time to look at her because the damn Skeleton King was already charging me!
Dragon Soul suddenly appeared to the side and shouted angrily, "Total Annihilation!"
With a flash of purple light, the Dragon Soul's greatsword stabbed into the Skeleton Warhorse's butt. The Skeleton King's HP dropped twice, dealing 234 and 185 damage respectively. With the Skeleton King's Defense, it was already impressive that the Dragon Soul was able to deal that much damage!
Total Annihilation was a multi-attack skill. The skill could hit 5 times in a row, but at the current stage of the game, players could only hit twice.
After the attack, Dragon Soul cleverly pulled out his sword and fled. His speed was astounding.
The Skeleton King, on the other hand, seemed to have been insulted. He immediately roared and charged at the Dragon Soul. The Dragon Soul shouted in panic, "Brothers, help!"
Of course, it wasn't his brothers who saved him. It was Ling Yue's Ice Arrow. For a moment, the Skeleton King's speed sharply decreased, and the pressure on Dragon Soul disappeared.
I also used Ice Arrow. Combined with my Armor Piercing Arrow, I dealt a heavy blow to the Skeleton King. Out of all the players present, I was clearly the main force. The only thing that could deal significant damage to the Skeleton King was my Armor Piercing Arrow. Even Ling Yue's Fireball could only deal 400 damage to the Skeleton King.
After the initial panic, we finally stabilized our footing. Ling Yue, Gui Zhi, and I formed a triangle to attract the Skeleton King's aggro. Dragon Soul and Xing Tian waited for an opportunity to use Earth Splitter or Total Annihilation. Then, they ran like mad. After all, they knew that if they let the Skeleton King's sword touch them, they would die!
Time passed bit by bit. Everything went smoothly, and after half an hour, the Skeleton King finally had a sliver of HP left. It could die at any moment!
Xing Tian looked very excited. He charged with his battle axe, turned around and ran away after one hit. His comical appearance made Zi Yun 'er laugh.
As the main attacker, I used up most of the mana potions in my bag in a short amount of time. I even asked the Dragon Soul to send a batch of mana potions to Ling Yue. As a mage, her mana consumption was much higher than mine.
Looking at the Skeleton King's majestic figure, even the strongest boss had no power to resist under our perfect tactical control!
Dragon Soul licked his lips and said excitedly, "The first Gold Rank boss of Spirit of Grief is about to die by our hands. Just this alone is enough to write our names in the history books!"
Xing Tian said, "Boss, will our names be added to the tombstones of the souls killed by the Skeleton King's sword?"
Dragon Soul glared. "Damn, can't you say something auspicious?"
Xing Tian shouted, "Long live the Skeleton King!
Throughout the ages, our achievements will surpass the past and present, and we will never lose! "
Fuck, so auspicious...
At this time, a shocking change occurred. Xing Tian's jinx actually came true —
The Skeleton King, who had low Health Points, suddenly stopped in its tracks. It raised its sharp sword high up and chanted an incantation that reverberated in the surroundings. In an instant, the earth shook and the surrounding stone spikes fell. The entire fifth floor of the Nether Cavern seemed as though it was about to collapse!
Ding ~!
System Notice: Please note, the ten thousand year Skeleton King is using the skill — Summon!
… …
Amidst the sound of horse hooves, the stone wall in front of us suddenly transformed into a void. Countless skeleton knights riding on war horses brandished their halberds as they galloped through the air. They were as ferocious as tigers, causing one to tremble in fear!
In a short time, almost a hundred undead knights charged!
Xing Tian, who was the first to bear the brunt of the attack, immediately swung his giant axe forward. The light of Earth Splitter flashed, and the few Knights at the front were thrown off their feet. However, the Knights at the back had already pounced on Xing Tian. In an instant, Xing Tian's figure was engulfed in a white light. Then, Xing Tian died and returned to the city to resurrect!
Dragon Soul was shocked. He was about to turn around when he found a shadow flashing behind him!
The Skeleton King's gigantic body glided across the ground, and the sharp sword struck the Dragon Soul's chest. The Dragon Soul did not even realize what had happened. Its HP was instantly emptied, and the damage number "3458" rose high above its head!
Another flash of white light. Dragon Soul died and dropped a ground full of health potions!
