Not long after, the green vines trembled as Cute Little Naughty entered Stealth while climbing. The other Assassins followed suit one after another. Hundreds of vines were crawling with Assassin players who had entered Stealth.
"When are we going?" Gui Guzi asked impatiently, the Spear of the Knight God in his hand.
I smiled. "There's no rush. Let's wait for the assassins to clear the area first!"
"Mn."
… …
About half an hour later, Cute Little Naughty sent me a message: "Big brother Lu Chen, it's done. There are almost a hundred Indian players from Cyan Earth City at the top of the mountain, but we blinded them and killed them all. I doubt they even saw who killed them."
I smiled in approval. "Well done, Little Naughty. Leave two thousand people to guard the top of the mountain. The rest of you, spread out and keep an eye on the map. The path between Sky Ridge and Glacier County is 5 kilometers wide, and kill any lone Purple Grape City or Cyan Earth City players. Don't fight a thousand-man party head-on, and notify me immediately if you see a large army coming.
"Mn, got it. I'm going now!"
"Mn. Do your best!"
… …
Chiang!
I sheathed the Purple Ying Sword and grabbed a vine. "It's our turn. Everyone, dismount. This cliff is about 200 to 400 meters long, so don't worry too much. Don't be afraid of heights, and don't look down when you're climbing. Once you're at the top, stay where you are and don't move carelessly."
Everyone nodded. "Mn."
"Go!"
I exerted strength through my arms and sprinted toward the top of the cliff. I was incredibly fast and had super high Strength.
Beside me, Beiming Xue was even faster than me. She looked down at me like a beautiful elf and said, "I'm faster than you, big bro …"
I looked up at her cape and smiled. "It's pink …"
"Big bro, you!"
Beiming Xue's face turned red as she climbed the green vine. She vanished into the wind and snow in the blink of an eye.
It was snowing heavily, and the wind was so cold that it felt like it was cutting my skin with a knife. However, the thought of what we were about to do made my blood boil. This pain was nothing.
"Pa!"
He stood firmly at the edge of the cliff. The snowstorm was getting stronger, and he could barely see anything beyond five meters. He could only rely on the coordinates on the minimap to identify himself.
Dragonlight Cavalrymen and Dragonlight Archers continued to climb to the top of the mountain. There was a very long stretch of open space on top of the mountain. Sky Ridge was an undeveloped map, so no one would normally come here to grind. Now that the map was here, it became a useful tactic in the war. Fans of the book loved to read the story.
Walking to the opposite cliff, he lowered his head and looked down. It was a 90-degree vertical distance of at least a hundred meters. He had to rely on the green vines to get down, otherwise he would definitely fall to his death.
Li Chengfeng, Gui Guzi, Chaos Moon, Xu Yang, Du Thirteen, and the others walked over. Looking at the vast forest in front of them, Li Chengfeng smiled faintly and said, "That forest is the legendary Lost Forest, right?"
I nodded. "Yes. The Lost Forest surrounds Glacier River County, and Glacier River County is guarding the northern gate of Purple Grape City. If we want to get our hands on Purple Grape City, we'll have to knock down the northern gate."
Chaos Moon blinked once before asking, "Did Breeze and Rain and his tens of thousands of cavalry pass through Sky Ridge?"
"Yes, that's the only way." I smiled.
Li Chengfeng also smiled. "I finally understand. Lu Chen, you had the eighth subguild ambush Sky Ridge because you want to give them a taste of their own medicine, am I right?"
I laughed. "That's right. If Cyan Earth City can use this place to their advantage, then so can we. However, if we're going to play, we're going to play hard. Beating around the bush isn't my style!"
Chaos Moon glared at me. "What are you going to do?"
Gui Guzi smiled. "I'm going to destroy Glacier River County's teleportation formation and attack their reinforcements …"
I clenched my fists tightly and said, "I'm not going to kill anyone. This time, we only brought ten thousand men with us, and we're going to ambush Glacier River County. We're going to enter king-slaying mode, kill the king of Glacier River County, destroy this Tier 2 city, and destroy Purple Grape City's northern defenses!"
Gui Guzi couldn't help but suck in a deep breath. "Fuck, Boss Broken Halberd, you're too ruthless!
But hehe, I like it. If we don't, our Floating Ice City will be at the mercy of the enemy! "
Xu Yang propped his broadsword against the ice and said, "It's a very high-end strategy, but Lu Chen, why don't you consider occupying Glacier River County and opening up a teleportation portal? That way, the players of Sky City can teleport directly to Glacier River County and pass through Falling Moon Ridge to reach Purple Grape City. Fans like to read 'Purple Grape City'."
I couldn't help but smile and shake my head. "Brother Xu Yang, I've thought about this as well, but there are too many factors that make this plan unrealistic. First of all, we need enough Chinese players to occupy the city, and we also need to kill all of the enemy players. We can't do that. Also, we need to refresh the map after we occupy the city, and we can't wait for 24 hours. The Sino-Japan Nation War only lasts for 72 hours, and almost 24 hours have already passed."
Xu Yang nodded. "That's true. I was too thoughtless …"
… …
"It's almost time. Let's go down the mountain!"
"Mn!"
I bent down and grabbed a green vine. Then, I swooped down and stroked the green vine. The thorns on the vine stung my palm. Fuck, if I want to use an amazing skill, I'll have to suffer!
After sliding for about 150 meters, I landed on solid ground. The wind and snow gradually subsided, and a green, fertile land appeared in front of me. The Lost Forest was right below Dragonbone Mountain Range.
I walked for a while and waited for the cavalry and archers behind me to land. Then, I summoned the Armored Ice Qilin Horse and ordered, "Everyone, get on your horses!"
Everyone summoned their mounts, unsheathed their weapons and entered Level 1 combat readiness.
At the same time, Cute Little Naughty sent me a message: "Vice leader big bro, we've basically cleared the path. However, there's a 20k Elephant City cavalry heading toward Sky Ridge. They're moving in the direction of (10239,301 12) to (0,30112). They're halfway there right now."
"Mn, got it!"
I immediately opened up the world map and checked the movements of the Elephant City cavalry. Then, I set up our attack trajectory to go around them. The entire movement path was in an arc, like an S shape. The final point of attack was Ice River County. Fans also liked to read: Ice River County.
I didn't share my movement trajectory with them, so I urged my horse down the mountain and said, "Everyone, follow me! Don't get lost!"
"Yes!"
The sound of horse hooves thundered as ten thousand cavalrymen followed me down the mountain. At the same time, I gave Cute Little Naughty a final order, "Naughty, infiltrate Glacier County and destroy all the magic formations there. After that, you guys can sneak back to the city!"
Cute Little Naughty giggled. "Got it. You guys be careful too."
"Got it."
… …
It took us almost half an hour to get out of the Lost Forest. We ignored all the mobs along the way because we didn't have time to kill them. Destroying the city was our main goal.
After we charged out of the forest, we saw a tier 2 city in the distance. It was about 5000 meters away from us, and there were a lot of Japanese players fighting mobs on the plains. Their levels weren't high, and the highest among them was Level 170 +. They weren't much of a threat to us at all.
Chiang!
I pulled out the Purple Ying Sword and pointed it at them. Then, I growled, "Full speed! Charge straight into the city! Don't get caught up in the fight! Our target is the palace!"
Everyone nodded in unison. Like a bolt of lightning, ten thousand cavalrymen formed a triangular formation on the ground. I was at the apex of the triangle. We didn't chase after the players who were grinding. We disdained doing something as petty as killing low-leveled accounts.
The Dragonlight Armored Horse was so fast that the players on the city walls finally noticed us when we were about to reach the city. They panicked and shouted, "God dammit, why are there so many China cavalrymen all of a sudden? Where did they come from!?"
"Attack! Everyone else, just watch!"
The Armored Ice Qilin Horse let out a long neigh and leaped into the air. The Purple Ying Sword exploded in the middle of the crowd, killing a bunch of low-level players who tried to defend the gate. At the same time, I opened my palm and summoned the Phantom Wolf King, summoning it into the city. Purgatory Storm and Claw of the Storm!
"Close the city gates!" a group of Japanese players shouted.
"Buzz!"
The Purple Ying Sword glowed brighter than ever. Here it comes!
Boom!
Universe Break transformed into a long beam of light as it smashed into the rapidly closing iron gates of the city. A massive damage number immediately appeared above the gates. Mountain Crush had also been added to the attack. Peng! A circular hole with a two-meter radius was blasted into the iron gates. Looking through the hole, the players inside the city were dumbfounded. It was as if they were watching Tokyo Fever.
… …
Swhoosh swhoosh swhoosh!
A dozen or so Ancient Seals slammed into a crowd of Glacier County players, and the AoE Divine General Skill made them wish they were dead. Even worse, Li Chengfeng had activated Great Earth Transformation and Battle Soul Possession. Then, he charged the enemy and shouted, "Whirlwind Slash!"
Boom boom boom!
The dragon warrior turned into a whirlwind and swept through the enemies in front of him.
"Fuck, Lu Chen and Li Chengfeng's killing combo is way too strong …" Xu Yang grinned.
Chaos Moon laughed. "It's time to earn points!"
Everyone broke through the city gates and charged the Dragonlight Cavalry while Beiming Xue brought up the rear. Skypiercer and Spiraling Arrow Blades rained down on both sides of the path. This didn't even look like an ambush, it looked like a bloodbath in Glacier County!
