"Dammit, the Dark Mercenaries are here. They just won't go away!" Wang Dongliang gripped his sword hilt and said.
Profound Puff stood there quietly. "Little Piglet is stubborn. I don't know when I can rest on this path of revenge. Sigh, if it wasn't for the fact that …"
Roaming Dragon interrupted him. "Zhao Yufeng, enough. Don't …"
Iron Pardon said, "Boss, what do we do now?"
Wang Dongliang slowly pulled out his sword and growled, "Mad Purgatory Dragon, prepare for battle. We have 70k elites here, how many people can the Dark Mercenaries send?
Mages, archers, get ready to fire Far Shot. We must suppress the Dark Mercenaries' cavalry. That is our only chance. Brothers and sisters, prepare for battle!
Touch of Sunshine, I'll leave Little Piglet to you when he arrives! "
A Touch of Sunshine's lips curled up into a smile. "Yeah, I've always wanted to compete with the CGL Hall of Famer, Little Piglet. This is a good opportunity. I'd like to see how he managed to gather an army in the Outland and declare that he's going to destroy us!"
… …
The battle was about to begin. Both sides were ready to fight.
Li Chengfeng asked seriously, "Lu Chen, what do we do now?"
"Nothing …"
I looked into the distance and said calmly, "Stay where you are and don't move. Our priority is to hold this place until Little Gui and the others finish fighting the boss. Also, even if the Mad Purgatory Dragon is defeated, don't let them enter the canyon. Block the exit!"
Li Chengfeng smiled. "You hate the Mad Purgatory Dragon so much. What happened?"
"It's nothing. It's just that Roaming Dragon's karma is too low. I can't stand it!"
"Yes, we'll fight if we can't stand it. I support this idea as well!"
Our ten thousand Dragonlight Cavalrymen formed a tight defense, priests and bards buffing us from the back, and a large group of holy mages on standby. Even Warsky Alliance might not be able to break through this iron wall in a short time, let alone the Mad Purgatory Dragon's motley crew.
On the other side, Warsky raised his Longevity Saber and ordered loudly, "All brothers of the Warsky Alliance, stay where you are and do not attack. Sit back and watch the show. No matter how the Dark Mercenaries and the Mad Purgatory Dragon fight, it has nothing to do with us. However, if they dare to point their spears at us, kill them immediately!"
A group of Golden Horsemen raised their shields and formed a defensive shield formation. The current Warsky Alliance was no longer the same as it was a month ago.
…
A cold wind blew, and the Black Qilin's roar reverberated across the mountain range. Little Piglet finally showed up as well. He was clad in a suit of exquisite battle armor and wielded a longsword. He pointed it down the mountain and shouted, "Kill! Our target is the Mad Purgatory Dragons! Kill them all!"
Over ten thousand cavalrymen charged down the mountain like a whirlwind, coordinating with other types of cavalrymen to attack the Mad Purgatory Dragon's camp. This time, the Dark Mercenaries had mobilized at least fifty thousand cavalrymen. This was completely out of Wang Dongliang's expectations. He never thought that Little Piglet would be so bold as to send so many people into the Chaos Map. After all, players from other regions were like street rats. Their names were red, and everyone wanted to beat them up.
Bzzz bzzz bzzz...
Cones of fire danced around their swords, and before they even got close, the Windcrusher Cavalrymen used Barrier Break. It was the most powerful skill that could pierce through a Shield Formation. Little Piglet led the charge on his Ink Qilin Mount and activated Great Earth Transformation. The Ink Qilin activated Vajra, and his sword glowed with a brilliant light as it swept across the battlefield.
Thud thud thud...
Barrier Break shattered the shield formation, and an entire row of Mad Purgatory Dragon players collapsed to the ground the moment they came into contact with the Slayer Cavalry. It was clear that the Mad Purgatory Dragon players were losing in terms of stats. However, Little Piglet was even fiercer than the Slayer Cavalry. He swung his sword and used Ice Breaking Slash. A brilliant light covered the sky, and with splash damage, an entire group of Mad Purgatory Dragon Cavalrymen with over 1.2 million HP were one-shot!
The Slayer Cavalry continued to charge into the depths of the Mad Purgatory Dragon players despite the rain of spells and arrows. Little Piglet was the first to arrive and shouted, "Brothers, Thousand Ton Break!"
Boom!
The dazzling light of Thousand Ton Break exploded in the middle of the crowd. The mages, archers, and other classes of Mad Purgatory Dragon were groaning in pain. They weren't as good as Dark Mercenaries to begin with, and they were outnumbered by Mad Purgatory Dragon's numbers as well. It didn't take long for the Mad Purgatory Dragon players to start showing signs of weakness. Compared to Little Piglet, Wang Dongliang and Lu Chao were having a much easier time.
… …
Chiang!
Sparks flew everywhere as Wang Dongliang was sent flying by a Steel Slayer Horseman's attack. His face was filled with shock as he anxiously roared, "A Ray of Sunshine, what are you waiting for? Take the assault battalion and charge!"
A commotion broke out among the crowd. Soon, Touch of Sunshine reappeared with a thousand or so elite mounted players behind him. Their mounts were all very high-grade. This was a high-grade cavalry regiment that Mad Purgatory Dragon had spent a fortune on. Their leader was Touch of Sunshine, and he could be considered their trump card.
Touch of Sunshine was clad in top-tier equipment, and he was riding an Immortal Rank mount, the Cloudstep Devil Leopard. Like a bolt of lightning, he swung his sword and pierced a Slayer Cavalry's chest with Flame Dragon Flurry, one-shotting him instantly. Then, he turned around and used Shadow Break. Whoosh! A dozen or so Slayer Cavalry were stunned and swept away by the Mad Purgatory Dragon's assault battalion.
Buffed by the Crimson Flame Shield, Wisp of Sunshine slaughtered his way through a group of players. He used his battle armor to endure the damage from skills like Barrier Break and Heavy Slash. However, the 100% lifesteal effect of the Heaven Suppressing Chain was simply too overpowered. When Wisp of Sunshine still had 27% of his HP remaining, he would use a Crimson Flame Slash to kill a group of players. His HP would naturally return to full, shocking the Dark Mercenaries.
"Kill!
Let these outland thieves know that the Mad Purgatory Dragon isn't a pushover! Not everyone can bully us just because they want to! "
Wisp of Sunshine let out a furious roar, abruptly piercing into the densely packed crowd. He raised his sword high into the air, and dragon flames floated in his left palm, causing the ground to tremble. Spending 1,000 Gold Coins, he summoned the Divine Fire Dragon. In the next moment, streaks of scorching dragon energy burst out of the ground, wreaking havoc in the crowd of Dark Mercenaries. Hundreds of Headless Cavalry were caught in the attack range, and damage numbers of over 400,000 continuously jumped up. In the blink of an eye, the area within 100 yards of Wisp of Sunshine had become a sea of blood.
"Fuck, that's awesome!" Roaming Dragon was dumbfounded.
Wang Dongliang laughed. "Let's go, Touch of Sunshine! Lead everyone and destroy the Dark Mercenaries! Let's see if they have the guts to enter the Ancient Chaos Secret Land again!"
… …
Touch of Sunshine led a group of elite players to and fro on the frontlines. Like this, the Mad Purgatory Dragon gradually gained a foothold, and the mages and archers in the rear continued to deal damage to the Dark Mercenaries. The situation instantly turned around, and the Dark Mercenaries suffered heavy losses. Less than 5000 of their 10,000-strong Slayer Cavalry were left. This was a loss that Little Piglet never expected.
Amber Eyes raised his hand and unleashed a ball of fire, killing three heavy armor players. He then turned around and yelled, "Guild master, you can't keep fighting like this. Otherwise, we'll all be killed in less than half an hour!"
Little Piglet gritted his teeth. "Lead everyone and retreat slowly. I'll hold up the rear and meet that Touch of Sunshine!"
"Mn!"
"Follow me!"
Little Piglet shouted and led several hundred players toward Touch of Sunshine's thousand-man party. It was the Mad Purgatory Dragon's strongest trump card legion.
Swhoosh!
An Ice Slash fell from the sky, and Little Piglet spurred the Ink Qilin into the crowd. At the same time, he activated his mount skill. The Ink Qilin opened its mouth and spat out a ball of scorching flames. Little Piglet blocked it with his sword and fired three Ice Ray Flurry swords that were nearly 30 yards long. That one attack alone was enough to kill nearly a hundred Mad Purgatory Dragon elites.
"Die!"
Touch of Sunshine shouted angrily as he rode his Devil Cloudstep Leopard toward Little Piglet. He raised his sword and swung it at Little Piglet from above.
Little Piglet's eyes turned cold. He tilted his sword and parried!
Chiang!
Little Piglet stumbled three steps backward, but Touch of Sunshine froze in place. At the very least, Little Piglet had the upper hand in terms of Strength. It couldn't be helped. Mad Purgatory Dragon had spent hundreds of millions to build an expert, and if he was still weaker than Little Piglet, then it would be the end of the road for Mad Purgatory Dragon.
A spear materialized in Little Piglet's hand as he retreated. He slammed the spear into the ground with a thud and stopped his retreat. Then, he activated Ice Heat and accelerated. The Black Qilin let out a roar and dashed through a ray of sunlight like a bolt of lightning.
"Hmm?!"
Touch of Sunshine hurriedly retreated and raised his sword in front of his chest to parry Little Piglet's attack.
Thud!
Little Piglet thrust his sword at Touch of Sunshine's chest, but he didn't attack. Instead, he swung his sword upward and tore through Touch of Sunshine's Defense. Touch of Sunshine's face turned green with anger. Little Piglet was still able to execute such a precise maneuver in such a short time. This was the strength of a CGL Hall of Famer!
Three attacks, and the last one was Barrier Break. Little Piglet was going all out!
“362177！”
“412822！”
“472661！”
Unfortunately for Little Piglet, the three attacks didn't deal any damage to Touch of Sunshine. He was fully buffed, so he had at least 2 million HP.
"If you can't kill me, then I'll kill you!"
Touch of Sunshine's expression turned a little sinister as he grabbed Little Piglet's sword hilt and thrust his own sword into Little Piglet's chest like lightning. Scarlet Flame Slash glowed with the light of the skill and threatened to tear Little Piglet apart!
“491287！”
“+491287！”
Touch of Sunshine recovered a huge chunk of his HP while dealing damage to Little Piglet.
"Scram!"
Little Piglet swung his arm and landed on the Ink Qilin's back. He pressed his palm against the Ink Qilin's back and kicked Touch of Sunshine's neck with his war boots. Then, he spun around and followed up with Ice Ray Flurry and Ice Break!
“419244！”
“442770！”
Little Piglet's DPS was as good as it gets with a basic attack.
However, Touch of Sunshine's mechanics were inferior to Little Piglet's, but he wasn't too far behind. He swung his sword twice and recovered almost 500k HP. Thanks to the healing from the priests behind him, Touch of Sunshine's HP quickly returned to more than 90%. Little Piglet, on the other hand, was left with less than 25% HP. The Heaven Suppressing Chain had 100% lifesteal, so Little Piglet was at a huge disadvantage!
