I raised my sword and blocked Aodan's path. "Leave these scum to me. Don't get angry, Aodan." "Mn.
You attack, I'll deal the last hits … "
"Fuck …"
I was speechless. Aodan had learned a bit of our language after spending so much time with me.
… …
I lowered my sword and used Dark Pupils. The monster's stats appeared in front of me.
[Purgatory Gravedigger] (God-tier Mob)
Level: 328
Attack: 58000 ~ 82500
Defense: 104000
HP: 1000,0000
Skills: [Undead Energy], [Cruel Gouge], [Mad Dance]
Introduction: The Purgatory Gravedigger is a wanderer of the fifth floor of the Purgatory Realm. These Gravediggers are experts who have been abandoned by their world. They rely on their own cultivation to survive in the Purgatory Realm and dig up the graves of the strong for a living. It can be said that the Purgatory Gravedigger is a giant cornucopia, and the bags on their backs often contain treasures that you can't even imagine. However, you must be careful. These Gravediggers are so strong that even a Monarch would be wary of them. If you want to obtain their treasures, you must be strong.
… …
My gaze darkened. Their Attack was higher than even the Sword Guards'. They might be God-tier mobs, but their advantage was obvious. There were about a hundred Gravediggers in front of me, and if they attacked me at the same time, I wouldn't be able to handle them.
"Be careful, Aodan," I said.
"Mn, I know." Aodan smiled. "You should be careful too. Don't get hurt by those madmen."
The Xuanyuan Sword vibrated a little as I dashed toward the group of Gravediggers with my Cloud Soaring Boots. I swung my sword horizontally and used Burning Blade Slash + War Crush combo. The Gravediggers immediately started attacking me as they swung their swords and shovels at my Crimson Dragon Armor. Every one of them dealt around 30k damage or so, but it didn't look like they were going to kill me.
Swhoosh!
Before I could underestimate the enemy, a Gravedigger's longsword glowed with a blood-red light. It was the assassin's Gouge skill. If I attacked head-on, I could use Gouge to stun my target. I definitely couldn't hit it!
In the end, it still hit. I was stunned for 1.5 seconds!
Around him, the seven gravediggers roared, "Kill him! Now! Kill him!"
As I said this, the group of people swung their weapons and spun at high speed on the spot, forming a storm of attacks. This time, it was fatal. Under the barrage of attacks, each hit dealt close to 70k damage. In the end, under the barrage of attacks, my HP quickly dropped to around 40%. Fuck, these inhuman bastards. As expected, it was too difficult to steal their treasures!
As soon as he woke up, he immediately waved his sword and slashed out with a [Xuanyuan Slash]!
Boom!
The forest shook, and dozens of gravediggers in a line received over 2 million damage. At the same time, my HP was instantly restored to full. The DPS of an SSS Rank Ancient Divine Skill was truly unparalleled in the world.
I stopped conserving my Divine Energy Points and raised my sword. "Pa pa pa", three Ancient Seals came crashing down, completely covering the hundred or so Gravediggers around me. I also used Summon the Wind and Summon the Rain + Ten Thousand Absolute Sword. Instantly, the area around me turned into a hell of slaughter. My body sank down and I used Dragon Suppression Soar. The group of Gravediggers' HP dropped rapidly. Yes, let's focus and kill one first. Let's see what kind of good stuff he dropped from his bag!
Swhoosh!
An eight-trigram array appeared beneath Shi Feng's feet as he executed Universe Break. The attack pierced through a Gravedigger's throat, dealing 790,000 damage to the Gravedigger.
"Roar roar, for the rest of my life, I shall live with wealth and power!"
Before he died, he screamed for glory and wealth, but he died just as quickly.
Clack! Damn it, there's only one Big Magic Stone?!
What kind of amazing treasure is this?
I was slightly disappointed, but I didn't give up. I continued to try. Maybe there was another way to get more loot. When a gravedigger was about to die, I abruptly opened my palm and clamped down on the gravedigger's neck. Then, I swung the Xuanyuan Sword angrily, and the gravedigger collapsed to the ground with a loud crack. This time, the gravedigger had really dropped a lot of equipment and gems!
After knocking away a couple of gravediggers with Burning Blade Slash, I quickly picked up the loot. When I glanced at them, I was overjoyed. Three Divine Crystals, and two of them were grade 100. Just how much wealth was this?
Outside of the plane of Purgatory, players would fight each other to the death for a piece of 100-grade Divine Crystal that was worth 300,000 RMB, but I had actually dropped two Divine Crystals with a simple Unfettered Lock. This was awesome!
Also, the gravedigger's equipment was pretty good. Although it was only Immortal-grade, there was a metal armor that increased damage reflection by 7%. This kind of equipment could be sold for at least a thousand RMB!
After putting away the loot, I was full of confidence and tried to use the Unfettered Lock again. Unfortunately, it had a long cooldown of 6 minutes, so I only got three gravedigger's bags and 4 100-grade Divine Crystals. Still, it was pretty good. Becoming a millionaire in a single day was something to be happy about!
… …
I continued to move forward through the dense forest. It wasn't long before I came across countless corpses on the side of the road. They had been here for many years, and there was a huge altar in the middle of the clearing. The stones on the altar were badly weathered, and it looked like it had been here for many years. At the center of the altar, there was a tall pillar with a person tied to it. The rusted chain had even sunk into the person's flesh, and a goshawk was flying in the sky, looking for a chance to peck at the person's rotten flesh.
There were four Purgatory Guards in front of me, and they were all Level 328 God-tier monsters. I didn't hesitate to kill them. Stepping on the guards' corpses, I looked at the person tied to the pillar and asked, "Who is this person?"
Aodan blinked and said, "The seventh Thunder God, Dhiras."
"Thunder God …" I pursed my lips. "I know the Thunder God is a shill, isn't he? He's a very handsome young man …"
Aodan was speechless. "The shill is the first Thunder God. He died many years ago …"
Me: "..."
At this time, the person on the pillar suddenly opened his eyes, and a pair of bloody eyes appeared in front of us. He looked at me, and then at Aodan. Licking the flesh on his lips with a rotten tongue, he cackled. "Oh, it's been a long time since I've seen a human enter the Purgatory. Little girl, this is not a place you should come to. But since you're here, put me down. I will let you taste the best of the world …"
"Fuck, what kind of Thunder God is this?" I was speechless.
Aodan laughed softly. "Dhiras is a famous Main God who attacks the heart. That is why he was abandoned by the God Realm and chained to this place by the Purgatory. It has been about thirty thousand years, and his divine spark is severely damaged. He is even weaker than an Elementary God. We don't need to worry about him. Let's go, I can't be bothered to kill him …"
Dhiras was still laughing maniacally. "Oh, I remember now. You are Aodan, the Twilight Wanderer. You were once chained to this place with me, but … you submitted, but I never submitted to demons like Lin Na and Mingyu. Hahaha, this is why our divine sparks are different. I am a Main God, but you are just a lowly Elementary God. Hahaha, and that boy, your divine spark is so evil. Join me and become my little brother. I will bring you to the world of love. Hurry up and save me. Justice needs me, and a strict father needs me …"
The corner of my mouth twitched. I grabbed Aodan's hand and said, "Let's go, this God is too shameless …"
Aodan's face turned red. "Yeah …"
… …
Another group of Gravediggers blocked our way. These Gravediggers were the true masters of this place, so I had no choice but to kill them one by one. The good news was that God-rank mobs weren't too much of a threat to me. As long as I wasn't too unlucky and got Gouged repeatedly, I would be fine. Also, I had an extraordinary physique, so the success rate of these God-rank mobs' Gouge was very low. It was less than 1%, and it was the biggest reason I could do whatever I wanted in this place. Also, God's Deterrence reduced the enemy's stats by 40%, which was one of the reasons why my skill's success rate was so low.
I browsed the forums while killing the mobs. A big topic had appeared on the main page.
[News] Players worked hard and took down Sky City within 32 hours. Vanished God City, Wind City, Elephant City, Cyan Earth City, Hero City, and other Rank 1 cities have also been conquered!
[Content] Almost all first-rate cities have been conquered within 48 hours. Players Candlelight Shadow, Warsky, Wind Fantasy, Legendary Brave, and Dragon Speaker Ice Orchid, Karinshan, and Sophie attacked the Purgatory Main God, Whisperer Linda, heavily wounded and escaped to the Outland. One of the nine bosses, Night Walker Opello, was killed during the battle to reclaim Hero City. Player Vienna's Sorrow killed him and obtained the Divine Equipment, Wind Death Blade!
… …
Fuck, Vienna's Sorrow took the Wind Death Blade?
My heart sank. Tsk tsk, the Americans were very capable. They actually killed Opello, so Vienna's Sorrow must be a very powerful opponent after obtaining the Wind Death Blade, right?
I couldn't receive news from the outside world while I was in the Purgatory, so I had to check the forums to find out that another Divine Equipment had appeared. What a shame, such a good weapon...
It was at this moment someone sent me a private message on the forums. It was from He Yi ten minutes ago.
"Lu Chen, Mingyue, Gui Guzi, Li Chengfeng, and I will be attending Yu Tong's birthday party at 7 pm. Do you want to go?
If you don't have time, then don't. Sky City will go into map maintenance in 30 minutes, so you should be fine in the Purgatory plane. "
… …
Yu Tong's birthday party?
I didn't think it was a good idea to skip it. I was the one who poached her from Stranger of Three Lifetimes, so I had to treat her seriously. Moreover, Yu Tong, Moonlight Stone, and Lian Xin were all top-tier mages of Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' Holy Mage Legion.
I immediately sent He Yi a private message: "Mn, I'll be ready soon. Wait for me offline."
A few seconds later, He Yi replied: "Mn, we'll be waiting for you."
… …
After killing the 12th group of Gravediggers for a while longer, I had almost used up all my Divine Energy Points. After parting ways with Aodan, I went offline in a hidden valley.
I took off my helmet and cleared my mind.
… …
It was the second day in the Purgatory, and I still hadn't found Xinran...
