"Desolate City …" Li Chengfeng curled his lips. "Never heard of it …"
I glared at him. "You'll know once you do some research!"
Li Chengfeng looked down and was shocked. "Fuck, what a sneaky Tear Stain!"
"What is it?" He Yi asked.
Li Chengfeng waved his hand and displayed Desolate City's stats —

… …
"Holy shit!"
I rubbed my eyes when I saw the stats of Heavenly Desolation City. When I confirmed it again, I nearly lost my soul in shock. "Tear Stain sure is ruthless. A Rank 10 castle with 150k NPCs? Is she trying to defy the heavens?
Our Dark Moon City's level-11 castle only managed to recruit less than 50,000 NPC soldiers … "
Chaos Moon blinked a few times before smiling. "It's simple. Tear Stain gathered almost all of Burning City's resource vaults to meet the requirements of Heaven's Desolation City. This is the third player encampment in Burning City to reach Rank 10, and it reached Rank 10 even before Beauty Lin's Silver Fir City. Other than Heaven's Desolation City, the highest player encampment in Burning City is only Rank 7."
He Yi asked, "What do we do now, Lu Chen?
Do we attack?
Or do we retreat and continue attacking Burning City? "
I thought for a moment before replying, "There's still 20 hours before the Nation War ends, so we have plenty of time. Soul Battle Robes is attacking Burning City right now, and Stranger of Three Lifetimes is bringing almost 200k Blazing Hot Lips' remaining troops over to reinforce the city. There's no need for us to attack Burning City right now, so let's just concentrate our forces and take out Heavenly Desolation City. Tear Stain's greatest trump card will be for naught!
We don't even have the capital to participate in the next Kingdom War! "
Li Chengfeng clenched his fists and laughed. "You sure are ruthless. You really don't show any mercy to Candlelight Shadow's junior sister!"
I raised my sword. "I'm not familiar with Tear Stain …"
As he spoke, he raised his sword and shouted, "Charge forward and annihilate the remnants of the State Guardian in the Tianhuang City!
Chaos Moon, gather another 200,000 Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls players and take down this city in one fell swoop! Everyone, be careful! The NPC soldiers in the encampment can only move and attack within 1,000 yards of the encampment, so we'll trigger their aggro as soon as we get within 1,000 yards of the encampment. That's 150,000 high-level human soldiers! That's more than enough for us to earn some Nation War contribution points! "
Beiming Xue smiled sweetly at me. "It's too bad the encampment's soldiers can only move around the encampment's perimeter. Otherwise, big bro's 1000 Dark Dragons at the dragon nest could turn Heavenly Desolate City into rubble in half an hour!"
I chuckled. "It's fine, the encampment's soldiers are only used for defense. The northern players won't dare approach Dark Moon City with those 1000 giant dragons, so it's a good thing. Alright, it's time to attack. The encampment's walls aren't very tall, so we'll climb the walls and fight. Be careful of the NPCs' attacks. Radiant Knights are Rank 10 troops, so they're very strong!"
"Mn!
Should we bring some catapults over to help? "He Yi asked.
I replied, "It's fine. We need to keep up the pressure on the other side. We'll attack on our own!"
"Okay!"
… …
While they were talking, Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' 200,000-strong cavalry had already arrived at Desolation City. They stopped 1000 yards away from the city walls, and Wild King led his 100,000-strong cavalry into the city. He unsheathed his sword and shouted, "Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand, charge at me if you dare! I'm waiting for you!"
My eyes turned cold. Heavenly Desolate City was full of arrow towers and catapults. It was true that Tear Stain had dug a trap for us to jump into. However, since we were already here, there was no way we were going to return empty-handed. It would be embarrassing if we didn't flatten Heavenly Desolate City to the ground!
I unsheathed the Xuanyuan Sword and raised it high into the air. Then, I shouted, "This is a probing attack! Everyone, form a shield formation as soon as you get within 500 yards of the city walls! Holy Mages, Dragonlight Archers, prepare to attack! Pull out all the NPCs inside the city and kill them!"
Heaven's Rain, Diamond Dust and the rest of the girls spurred their mounts forward. The entire frontline was filled with cavalry and Dragonlight Archers. At the same time, tens of thousands of Holy Mages had arrived as well. Lian Xin, Beiming Xue, and the rest of the girls were flying in the air. Their presence put a lot of pressure on the players inside the city.
… …
On the city wall, Wild King said with a cold expression, "I can't mobilize the Sky Knights in the city. Send Tear Stain over to take command immediately. With Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' strength, the city will fall in less than an hour!"
Beside him, a legion commander of Throne of the Wild nodded. "Don't worry, the guild leader will be here soon!"
The magic formation in the city flashed, and Tear Stain teleported over with a large group of Throne of the Wild players. As expected, they had moved the battlefield from Burning City to this place. Tear Stain flew up the city walls and stared at Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' army angrily. "Hmph, Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls is too arrogant. Candle Dragon, Warsky Alliance, Snowy Cathaya, and Purple Lily — all of the top guilds in China — were killed in battle, but Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls only showed up at the end. What a fierce move!"
Wild King stared at Tear Stain with undisguised desire in his eyes. He smiled and said, "Yin Peimeng, that's enough. Order all your NPC troops to move out. I'll send out my men to break through Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' formation from the outside. I have three full legions waiting for us on the plains outside, and each of them has around 200k men. That should be enough to wipe out the 300k Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls' army."
Tear Stain raised her eyebrows and smiled. "Wild King, since when did you get to give me orders?
How I fight is my own business. You brought nearly two million men with you, and yet you were beaten to a pulp by Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls. Don't you feel ashamed? "
Wild King froze. "What? Is that our agreement?"
"Agreement?" Tear Stain's lips curled into a smile. "Did you defeat Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls?
Did you defend Scorching City?
If you haven't even done that, then what agreement are you talking about? "
Wild King grew anxious. "What? Are you going to break the agreement now?
Are you telling me that my millions of men died for nothing?
Don't forget, they died under Burning City's walls! "
Tear Stain looked a little unhappy, but she didn't turn against him. She chuckled sweetly and said, "I know about that agreement, but you have to help me defeat the enemies in front of me first. Otherwise, how can I fulfill my end of the bargain if we lose the city?"
Wild King clenched his fists and said, "Alright, I'll do my best!"
… …
At this time, Li Chengfeng and I flew toward the direction of Desolate Sky City. Li Chengfeng laughed loudly and said, "Little Sister Yin Peimeng, it's rare for someone as scheming as you to protect the main city. But don't worry, you are Candlelight Shadow's junior. We won't let you lose your reputation. We will conquer Burning City and raze Desolate Sky City to the ground. Wild King won't have a chance!"
I replied with a smile, "That's right, Yin Peimeng. Candlelight Shadow is the one you love, and we are his compatriots. Since the situation has developed to this point, let us protect your love while we can!"
"Ugh …"
Yin Peimeng stood there in a daze. I didn't know if she was happy or angry. Her shoulders trembled, and her beautiful eyes were filled with complicated emotions. After a few seconds, she said softly, "Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls … these people are Candlelight Shadow's enemies, but they … they are cute people, right?"
Wild King was surprised. "Pei Meng, what did you say?"
Yin Peimeng came to her senses and immediately reverted to the appearance of the Tear Stain Queen of Burning City. She pulled out her sword and shouted, "I will send out 70,000 Radiant Knights in the city in three minutes. These Radiant Knights will be the vanguard, and after that, friends of the Nation Guardians, please surround them from the flanks. Nation Guardians on the plains, please move out and kill these Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls!"
Wild King waved his sword and said, "Alright, I'm on standby!"
… …
Creak …
All four gates of Desolate Sky City opened at almost the same time, and a horde of Radiant Knights charged out. They were mounted on Pegasi, and they had the ability to fly for a short period of time. However, they could only fly a dozen or so meters at most before landing on the ground. Their Attack and Defense were extremely high, or else they wouldn't have become the strongest troops in a human castle. God damn, Silver Fir City only had around 10k Radiant Knights, but Desolate Sky City had recruited over 70k Radiant Knights! If Tear Stain really was dead, then she must've been stuffed with money!
Behind the Sky Knights, a large group of Throne of the Wild and Nation Guardians also charged out. Behind us, a large group of scattered Nation Guardians regrouped and began to counterattack. A centipede died, but it didn't stop moving. Their people wouldn't be wiped out so easily.
… …
"Raise your shields and stop them!" Li Chengfeng shouted.
I frowned and contacted Stranger of Three Lifetimes immediately. "Momo, have your people passed through Flying Flame Desert yet?"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes replied, "Yes, why?"
"Give me your coordinates!"
“128878，90088！”
"Mn."
I checked the coordinates and said, "Momo, head north as fast as you can. You'll see an army of Nation Guardians in about 10 minutes. Kick their butts and pincer them from the front and back!"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes smiled. "Alright, I still have over 240k people with me. We'll do our best to help you!"
"Got it!"
… …
Battle cries filled the air as Ancient Divine Skills were used all over the battlefield. Everyone fought and blocked the Radiant Knights with everything they had. At the same time, the Dragonlight Archers and Dragonlight Cavalry went all out and withstood the combined assault of the NPC army and the players. At the same time, Battle Scar, Kiss and Battle Scar led the 100k + players under Umbrella and charged back toward the Nation Guardians at the plains.
Thunder rumbled in the sky as dark clouds covered the sky. It wasn't long before it started raining, and the raindrops splashed onto my armor and mixed with the blood!
Kacha!
Tear Stain stabbed a Dragonlight Cavalryman with her sword before retreating. A series of MISSes popped up in front of her, and she nearly got caught by Beiming Xue. Tear Stain didn't waste any time as she flew back to the city. She raised her arm and shouted, "Fire!"
Thud thud thud...
Beiming Xue's Extraordinary Physique kept sputtering with the light of Shock Arrows. She raised her Profound Underworld Bow and turned around to leave. She aimed at the ground below her and rained down Skypiercer, killing a bunch of Nation Guardians.
… …
Everyone's stamina is exhausted, and everyone is fighting a battle of fatigue. We are the same, and so are the people of Cyan Earth City and Heavenly Desolation City. Everyone is giving it their all. Whoever can stand until the end will be the final victor of this magnificent Nation War!
Eternal Moon City's new chapter will be written by us, and we will leave our names in it.
