Stranger of Three Lifetimes hadn't taken more than a few steps when she suddenly turned around and said, "Hmm?
What class is an assassin most afraid of in a forest?
What class should I send to intercept them? "
"Ahem!" Hot and Sour Noodles coughed.
I spread my hands and said, "Let's use archers. They're also Agility-based classes, and their Shock Arrows and Spiraling Arrow Blades are an assassin's nightmare. Also, bring some mages and have them cast Fire Rain and Ice Rain to create a net of firepower in the forest. This way, the assassins won't be able to sneak in. Have the archers line up and use Spiraling Arrow Blades. We'll kill as many assassins as they come."
"Mn, thanks!" Stranger of Three Lifetimes nodded with a smile.
Warsky and October Rain discussed for a moment and decided to bring Laughing At The Heavens, Hundred Battler, and the others to intercept the assassins. The edge of Windy Trail was their defensive zone, and even if they lost it, they had to kill as many enemies as possible. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to answer to Dawn City.
… …
Not long after, a large number of Blazing Hot Lips archers and mages turned to the left and swiftly formed a net of firepower. Fire Rain and Ice Rain kept raining down on the enemy. Stranger of Three Lifetimes also arranged for two rows of warriors to stand in the middle of the net of firepower just in case. Right now, everyone was in Nation War mode, so they could only deal damage to players from opposing servers. Everyone else was just watching as normal.
On both sides of the mountain range, the Northern Alliance had already sounded the horn to attack. Countless players flooded into Windy Trail and drowned the defending China players inside like a tidal wave. They clashed directly with Blazing Hot Lips and Warsky Alliance's frontlines. A sea of players crowded the canyon, and the sounds of battle shook the heavens.
A large number of archers and assassins appeared in the forest and launched an attack on the flanks of the two guilds. The assassins tried to go into stealth, but they were helpless against Stranger of Three Lifetimes' firepower.
Suddenly, an Assassin appeared. He was Level 157 and had a blood-red flag on his back. He was another Heroic Bannerman player. Looking at his equipment, there should be a few Earth-grade equipment. This kind of Assassin was quite terrifying. Moreover, he was an American player from Titan City. His strength couldn't be underestimated — — Fairytale Killer LV-157 Earth Level Assassin City: Titan City Country: America Guild: Assassin's Alliance Position: Guild Master
Fairytale Killer looked at the net of firepower in front of him and growled, "Use Ambush to stun the Warriors, roll over, and use Stealth to tear through their defenses. These Chinese players are underestimating us too much. Do they really think they can stop Titan City's iron hooves with this level of interception?"
The appearance of the Heroic Bannermen immediately boosted morale. A large number of assassins appeared on the frontlines, and in the next moment, daggers gleaming with cold light slashed toward the necks of Blazing Hot Lips' warriors. They were all using Ambush, a powerful skill that could stun a target for three seconds at most!
"Pu pu pu …"
Blood sprayed into the air. These assassins were all from Assassin's Alliance, so their levels were very high. Their stun rate was also frighteningly high, and the warriors on the frontlines were stunned almost instantly. Fairytale Killer sprinted forward and stunned a magic knight in front of him with a swing of his dagger. Then, he leaped into the air and stomped his horse's head with his left foot. Using the momentum, he appeared in a sea of fire, but he managed to dodge the countless Fire Rain and Spiraling Arrow Blades as he dashed forward.
Swhoosh!
With a flash of fluorescent powder, Fairytale Killer entered Stealth with 75% of his health remaining. His movements were as smooth as flowing water, and his movements were smooth and fluid. It was a sight to behold. In the entire China server, there were no more than five Assassins who could do this!
"He's forced to go into stealth?"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes narrowed her eyes and waved her scepter. She shouted, "Cover the area with fire! Find him! Ptooey! How dare he cause trouble in my territory!"
Countless Volleys and Rain of Fire instantly rained down on the empty ground. However, Stranger of Three Lifetimes couldn't find even a shadow of this Heroic Bannerman. This made Stranger of Three Lifetimes a little suspicious, but she became even more cautious. She stomped the ground with one foot and the light of a Magic Shield appeared around her voluptuous body. Stranger of Three Lifetimes' robes and cloak fluttered in the wind as she stared ahead of her and shouted, "Don't let a Heroic Bannerman disrupt our formation!
As Fairytale Killer entered the frontlines, a large number of assassins followed the guild leader's lead and passed through the crowd. Of course, more than 50% of them weren't able to pass through the net of fire. Blazing Hot Lips' ranged players were incredibly powerful, and the fireballs that hit the assassins were incredibly painful.
"Ahhhhh …"
Bloodcurdling screams filled the air as an entire group of assassins fell into the sea of fire and ice. Some of the assassins who barely managed to get out of the sea of fire immediately activated their Forced Stealth skills, but Blazing Hot Lips' Spiraling Arrow Blades appeared the instant the fluorescent powder rose into the air. They were forcibly pulled out of their invisible state, and a barrage of arrows tore through their weak bodies in an instant.
A dozen or so assassins passed through the crowd, their expressions ferocious. The leader of the assassins held a dagger and shouted, "Activate Sprint and come with me to kill that female guild leader. Tsk tsk, this chick is so pretty, brothers, don't show any mercy!"
The group of assassins activated Sprint and sprinted toward Stranger of Three Lifetimes like they were flying, leaving long trails in their wake.
Stranger of Three Lifetimes' eyes sparkled like stars as she smiled and raised her scepter. She said, "Are these idiots looking to die?
Come at me then! I haven't even started earning my Nation War points yet! "
An icy aura abruptly emanated from her scepter, and in the next instant, Stranger of Three Lifetimes' robes began to dance wildly in the air as a cyclone of ice began to swirl around her. An icy blue storm appeared at the tip of her scepter as she abruptly threw it forward and shouted, "Cold Storm!"
Boom!
Countless icicles and tornadoes wreaked havoc in front of Stranger of Three Lifetimes. When the storm finally subsided, only a pile of assassin corpses, potions, and equipment was left behind. The Titan City assassins were dumbfounded by the scene. No one had expected this China girl to have such a violent and destructive magic skill. Her magic attack power was even more insane!
Stranger of Three Lifetimes still maintained her calm even after killing a lot of assassins in one go. Suddenly, she looked around and noticed something. "Hmm?
This is … "
While she was speaking, a blood-red blade appeared out of thin air. It was Fairytale Killer's dagger. Then, he stepped out of thin air!
Crack!
Stranger of Three Lifetimes retreated, but her Magic Shield had still taken a hit and lost a huge chunk of its durability.
"You're courting death!"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes gripped her scepter and retreated while stomping on the ground!
"Bang!"
Countless icicles burst out of the ground. It was a Frost Explosion! Moreover, the Frost Explosion had successfully frozen Fairytale Killer's feet. The layer of ice was thick enough to take his life.
Even though the Blazing Hot Lips players around him were about to attack, Fairytale Killer was terrifyingly calm. He spun his ring and abruptly unfroze himself. Then, he grabbed his dagger and rolled away. His movement speed was extremely fast, and his dagger flew up from the ground!
Pfft!
Stranger of Three Lifetimes was hit again. This assassin's attacks were extremely difficult to deal with.
"Ice!"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes wasn't stupid enough to cast an AOE spell, so she threw an icicle at the assassin's chest. The icicle struck the assassin's chest with a thud, dealing 12090 damage. That was roughly 25% of Fairytale Killer's HP. Fairytale Killer was taken aback by how much damage a casual attack had dealt.
"Hah!"
Fairytale Killer didn't stop after shouting. He activated Haste and chased after the assassin. The dagger in his hand danced in the air, creating a long arc of light. It was an AoE skill!
Cold Blade Sweep!
Stranger of Three Lifetimes' Magic Shield shattered with a bang, and a trace of surprise flashed across her beautiful face. She raised her scepter and spread her snow-white fingers wide open, summoning a fiery dragon that flew out and bit into Fairytale Killer's head. A huge damage number rose above his head — 24828!
Fairytale Killer was in danger. He only had about 25% HP left, and a peak mage like Stranger of Three Lifetimes was like a tiger's butt. If he wanted to kill her, he would have to pay a heavy price.
Fairytale Killer didn't retreat at this critical moment. Instead, he charged forward and kicked the rocks on the ground. Using the rebound force, he shot toward Stranger of Three Lifetimes like an arrow let loose from a bow. The dagger in his hand danced like a demon as he attacked Stranger of Three Lifetimes from three different angles. Against a mage without a Magic Shield, these three attacks were a sure-kill.
However, a jaw-dropping scene happened next.
Stranger of Three Lifetimes gripped her staff with both hands and gritted her teeth. She waved her staff repeatedly and blocked two of Fairytale Killer's attacks!
"Fuck, a mage's block …"
Laughing At The Heavens' mouth fell open. Blue Sky Scar, Little Piglet, and the others were just as shocked. At this moment, no one doubted Blazing Hot Lips' ability to enter the Top 10 of China's Guild Ranking anymore. A mage's skill was definitely world-class.
… …
Unfortunately, Stranger of Three Lifetimes blocked the first and second attack. Fairytale Killer's attack speed was too fast, and the third attack stabbed into the beauty's chest!
Pfft!
Blood splattered everywhere as a huge damage number flew up — 26165!
Perhaps it was a blessing from the heavens, but Stranger of Three Lifetimes still had a sliver of HP left after taking such a heavy blow. Her equipment was pretty good, and her total HP was almost 30k!
… …
"Are you done yet?"
Stranger of Three Lifetimes shouted angrily as she raised her scepter horizontally. Another Frost Explosion appeared beneath her feet and shot toward Fairytale Killer like a shockwave.
"What?!"
Fairytale Killer was shocked and hurriedly backed away. At the same time, he scattered fluorescent powder and hid himself in the cold wind.
Finally, the frightening battle came to an end. As the guild leader of Blazing Hot Lips, Stranger of Three Lifetimes ignored her class disadvantage and actually managed to block a top-tier assassin's attack. Both sides were evenly matched, and neither side was able to do anything to the other.
"Cover the area with your firepower and find that animal!"
A couple of male archers from Blazing Hot Lips angrily fired arrows at Fairytale Killer. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't find his position. Fairytale Killer's movements were too erratic.
Stranger of Three Lifetimes had a priest heal her back to full health before she looked into the distance again. She couldn't help but feel a little worried. A party of archers and mages had appeared in front of her, and after the assassins failed to break through, the Northern Alliance had mobilized an elite guild to attack China's defense line.
