"You're hurt." Azliers had a complicated look in his eyes.
The Black Dragon's last attack was filled with the determination to kill, concentrating unparalleled violence on Kuntuta, leaving the demon with no way to escape. Even his virtual Divine Persona was shattered. But because of this, the Black Dragon's back was pierced by the God of Light and Fire, pierced by the light spear with divine power.
"Yes."
Caesar nodded. "It's bad."
Natorius destroyed the ice wall, and his tall figure slowly appeared. Divine power flowed on his silver-gray armor like dancing electric arcs. The God of Light and Fire reached out and grasped at the air, and the power concentrated in the divine spear completely went berserk, exploding within Caesar's body.
The Black Dragon staggered back, his sharp teeth full of blood.
"He did it on purpose. Kuntuta thought I would be wary of the local gods' sneak attack and would not dare to attack with full force, but he did not expect the God of Light and Fire to have his own ideas."
Caesar gasped. "The power contained in this weapon was stronger than expected, but it was controlled when it pierced my body. It only fully emerged after Kuntuta died."
He held the spear tip in his chest with both hands, ignoring the blood gushing out, and pulled the spear out of his body three times.
"The power of the King of Gluttony before he died also hurt me."
Azliers whispered. "The situation is not good now. You'd better summon your daughter back."
"It's useless."
Caesar clutched his chest, where there was a whirlpool-shaped hole. Divine power rolled in his flesh and blood, preventing the wound from healing. "Odín's path to godhood has just begun. He can't participate in a battle of this level."
"Is there any other power that can be used?"
Azliers asked, and then growled angrily. "Local god, why didn't I find this guy before?"
Natorius suddenly rushed forward, and the spear on the ground was pulled back into his hand, bringing with it a twisted cold light.
The Balrog King roared like an erupting volcano, raising its bony claws to slap the God of Light and Fire. However, its flames were extinguished before it could even touch the God of Light and Fire, crashing into the spear that was gushing with radiance. The seawater was pushed back, and the center of its skull was cracked.
"Your power was restrained by him." Caesar stated the truth.
"It's the influence of the world." Azliers was unconvinced. "If it's the Abyss, it's me suppressing it."
"Now is not the time to discuss this. Let's return to the land first."
Caesar shook his head. It was obvious that he was very weak. The Singularity Furnace gave him endless power, but it couldn't heal his wounds.
Dull thunders echoed from Natorius's body, as if the gods were beating drums for him. Scorching light was burning the seawater behind him. He had come from the distant south to deliver judgment to the monsters at the end of their road.
Divine Punishment.
Natorius waved his spear straight, and a huge pressure suppressed the Balrog in front of Caesar in an instant. Azliers moved his body to resist, but it was too late. The light descended at a speed that was difficult to be seen with the naked eye. The Balrog's right arm fell off together with its shoulder, and the crack on its skull expanded again.
But it wasn't over yet. Natorius's target was Caesar. He didn't want to give Caesar a chance to breathe.
The Black Dragon's scales echoed with the clanging of iron. This exoskeleton armor was harder than a legendary giant shield and had blocked countless attacks for Caesar. However, at this time, it cracked and peeled off amidst a string of sparks. The seemingly thin light was actually the sharpest blade in the world. It repeatedly cut Caesar's body, intending to dismember him.
Caesar didn't speak. He opened his mouth and exhaled, using the energy from the collision of particles to force the gods back. He spread his wings and rushed to the surface of the water.
Azliers ran behind the Black Dragon. At the same time, he shouted to the starship watching from afar, "Stop him!"
But how could a starship stop a true god?
The starship's weapons were powerful, but the accumulation of power before firing was too obvious. The "field" created was not enough to restrain the gods. Natorius avoided the starship's attack casually. When he got close, he slapped the starship's spherical shield heavily with the spear of light and easily shattered it.
The starship immediately fell into a state of power failure. Eyeball cursed in the darkness, "Damn it. If I had the best energy, I would've blown you up today."
On the other side, Azliers had caught up with the Black Dragon. "Hey, are you so weak?
Are you going to die?
If so, I'll leave you alone, okay? "
"You're almost the same. Don't pretend as if nothing happened."
Caesar's voice was calm. "Your skull is cracking."
Azliers stopped talking. They rushed out of the sea and swept wildly on the land. Their bodies made ear-piercing sounds when they rubbed against the air. They violently changed direction, destroying mountains and evaporating rivers.
But Natorius still caught up with them. "If you run like this, you will only attract the attention of the gods in the sky. By then, I won't be the only one to hunt you down."
He was right. This was the fate of the creatures marked with the mark of "evil". Each of them would die, besieged by the gods and heroes, and die in different places.
Caesar lowered his body and stepped on the solid soil. "We're at the end of the road."
"Yes, it seems that we can't escape this disaster."
Azliers stopped beside him and slowly squatted on the ground. He gently fiddled with the soil with his slender bone claws and suddenly asked, "Can I trust you?"
His question was somewhat inexplicable, but Caesar understood. He paused for a moment and said softly, "This is the only way."
He did not encourage Azliers. In the eyes of the secular world, demons were a combination of selfishness, greed, and despicableness. To let a demon lord temporarily give up his self-awareness and put his life in the hands of others sounded like a fantasy story. It was like a child's boring and naive fantasy.
As long as Azliers had the slightest wariness, it would be useless no matter how much he said.
The King of Balrogs was silent for a moment. He quickly recalled Caesar's style in the past and finally nodded with difficulty. "Okay."
Azliers voluntarily melted all the bones in his body and turned into a pure flame. On the other side, the Black Dragon stood up with his two hind legs and spread his wings.
The situation was developing in an unpredictable direction …
The God of Light and Fire suddenly realized that something was wrong. He suddenly raised his spear and stabbed forcefully. His divine power was like thunder in the sky. Brilliance and violent flames swept across.
The little remaining psionic energy was not enough to weave a command. Caesar simply built a defensive barrier, but it collapsed under the divine power. But in this short moment, Azliers' Origin Fire surged into the Black Dragon's body.
What followed was like the descent of a pillar god. An unprecedented aura of the abyss appeared in Airadia. Wrapped in violent pressure, Natorius' hair and beard fluttered backward. The ground was sinking, and everything around was shattered. Huge cracks crisscrossed the ground, layers of the earth's crust were peeled off, and magma soared into the sky.
A huge shadow loomed in the smoke and dust, like an ancient giant god. Caesar slowly walked out of the smoke. The wound on his chest was filled with jumping flames. His fierce dragon face was covered with streaks of flame. He held the burning sword in his hand.
