In an abandoned town, five men stood in front of a residential building in the distance. Their faces were solemn.
It was noon, but the sky was gray and there was a thin layer of gray fog floating in the air.
Combined with the surrounding ruins, the atmosphere was somewhat depressing.
"We haven't been here before, there should be supplies inside."
Among the five men, an ugly man with a face full of pimples, looked at the residential building and ordered a young man beside him: "Su Chen, you go in and check out the situation."
"Chen Dong, why me again?" Su Chen frowned, his face was not looking good.
Su Chen was seventeen years old this year, he was originally a high school student on Earth, but in a car accident, he crossed into a post-apocalyptic world.
There were zombies and mutant beasts everywhere, danger lurking everywhere.
In the opposite residential building, there were likely to be zombies hidden, it was too dangerous for a person to go in alone.
"Su Chen, whatever the captain tells you to do, just do it. What's with the nonsense!" A round-faced man beside Chen Dong scolded him.
Su Chen held back his anger, "I have done this kind of thing several times before, this time it should be someone else, right?"
Chen Dong once again gave him this dangerous task, it was obviously against him, Su Chen did not intend to hold back anymore.
Chen Dong sneered: "Su Chen, you don't have to go in.
But when we go back, I will definitely report this to the captain, if you don't follow the arrangement, don't think about staying in the colony in the future. "
Hearing this, Su Chen was silent.
If one wanted to survive in the post-apocalyptic world, without a safe place to live, it was absolutely impossible.
The gathering place where Su Chen was located was called Tiannan gathering place. It was a small and sturdy city with tens of thousands of people and a very powerful armed force.
Ordinary zombies and mutant beasts could not break into the colony.
Chen Dong's father was the deputy leader of Tian Nan colony, his power was monstrous.
If Su Chen did not listen to Chen Dong's command this time, he would inevitably be kicked out of Tian Nan colony.
Once there was no safe place to stay, surviving alone in the post-apocalyptic world was tantamount to a dead end.
Su Chen's heart was tossing and turning. Finally, he gritted his teeth and said, "I'll go."
Chen Dong comforted him with a smile, "Su Chen, don't worry. If you encounter any danger, we will definitely rush to your rescue."
"Why would you be so kind?"
Su Chen sneered in his heart, but he didn't say anything. He held a machete and carefully walked toward the residential building.
When Su Chen entered the residential building and disappeared, Chen Dong's face darkened. He snorted coldly in his heart, "You dare to steal my woman? I'll play you to death!"
In the Tiannan colony, there was a great beauty called Tan Lin.
Chen Dong had been in love with Tan Lin for a long time. He had pursued her many times, but he had always been rejected.
The reason Tan Lin gave was very simple. She liked Su Chen.
Regarding this, Chen Dong was extremely annoyed, and also extremely confused.
Su Chen had no power or influence in the Tiannan colony. Even his martial strength was at the bottom. Other than being somewhat handsome, he had no other redeeming qualities.
In order to survive in the post-apocalyptic world, could being handsome be eaten?
In the end, it was still power and martial strength.
Since he couldn't win Tan Lin's heart, Chen Dong vented his anger on Su Chen.
Every time he went out to search for resources, Chen Dong would give the most dangerous job to Su Chen. His intention was to kill Su Chen.
However, Su Chen's life was tough enough. He was able to escape death several times.
Chen Dong didn't care. If he couldn't kill Su Chen once, then he would do it twice. If twice wasn't enough, then he would do it a few more times.
As long as Su Chen was in the Tiannan colony, he would have a way to kill Su Chen.
