The light in the residential building was dim, silent, and filled with a strange atmosphere.
Su Chen tightly held the chopping knife, because of nervousness, his palms were full of sweat.
He glanced at the corridor of the first floor, did not find any zombies, took a deep breath, and slowly walked to the second floor.
When he was about to reach the second floor, suddenly a "Kacha" sound was heard.
Su Chen inadvertently stepped on a hard object, and made a slight cracking sound.
"Oh no!" Su Chen's heart tightened.
Zombies' hearing is very sharp, if there is a zombie hiding here, after hearing the sound, it will inevitably launch a crazy attack towards him.
"Wu wu …"
Sure enough, the roar of zombies soon came from the second floor.
"Zombies!"
Su Chen's scalp exploded, and without thinking, he turned around and ran.
When he ran to the corridor of the first floor, he glanced behind him.
"Why is there only one zombie?" Su Chen slightly froze.
The roar of zombies on the second floor was very dense, estimated that there were at least ten zombies, but only one rushed down.
Moreover, it was an injured female zombie, with disheveled hair and a ferocious face.
One of its legs was broken, and it walked with a limp, moving very slowly.
Facing a seriously injured female zombie, Su Chen slightly narrowed his eyes.
There is an energy stone in the heart of a zombie, and energy stones are a hard currency in this world, not only can it be used to increase the body's strength, but it can also be used to buy food, weapons, and so on.
The price of an energy stone is definitely not cheap, Su Chen planned to kill the zombie, and rob the energy stone.
When the female zombie came close, Su Chen dodged sideways, at the same time avoiding the zombie's bite, the chopping knife in his hand chopped down.
"Kacha" sound, the chopping knife embedded into the back of the female zombie's head.
If you want to quickly kill a zombie, the best place to attack is the head.
However, the zombie's head was much harder than the other parts of her body. Su Chen's slash didn't kill the zombie completely, but only caused her to be seriously injured.
The female zombie was badly injured and roared crazily. Her two arms kept waving, but she couldn't touch Su Chen at all.
Su Chen kicked the female zombie over, pulled out his machete and hacked at her head.
"Bang bang …" "Ka …"
After a few more hits, the female zombie's head was finally smashed. She lay on the ground and twitched a few times before she finally stopped moving.
Su Chen quickly dug out a peanut-sized crystal from her heart. When he was about to leave, he suddenly saw the female zombie's body lit up with a golden light.
"Fragments?" Su Chen was stunned.
He could clearly see that the light came from a fragment that looked like a golden musical note.
"What is this?"
Su Chen had killed zombies before, but he had never seen a fragment. He stared at it for a while, then reached out to touch the golden fragment.
Just as his fingertips touched the fragment, it suddenly disappeared without a trace. At the same time, a strange voice echoed in his mind.
"Picked up [Level 1 All Attributes] fragment * 1, (1 | 1), the number of fragments is full, can be used."
"Use."
Su Chen subconsciously replied, and suddenly a picture appeared in his mind.
