A thought suddenly flashed through Su Chen's mind, and he asked tentatively, "Is there a realm above the Saint level?"
"Yes, the realm above the Saint level is called the God level, but there are very few God level elites. Almost all of them died in the last ancient war." The golden-shelled insect explained.
"Hiss!"
Su Chen gasped.
The fact that there was a Godly State expert above the Saint Stage shocked him quite a bit.
"What is the ancient war?"
Su Chen calmed himself down and continued to ask.
The ancient war involved the Saint level and God level elites, and it piqued his interest.
"The ancient war is actually a battle between the three major forces, and it happens every ten thousand years." The golden-shelled insect said.
"Three major forces?" Su Chen pondered.
Since the three major forces all had Saint level and God level elites, their strength must have reached an unimaginable level.
Thinking of what the Flaming Phoenix said before, in the void battlefield, the ten thousand races formed a united front to fight against the void beasts, did it mean that the ten thousand races and the void beasts were one of the three major forces?
Then what was the last force?
"What are the three major forces?" Su Chen asked.
"The Alliance of Ten Thousand Races, the void beast tribe, and the Machine Empire." The golden-shelled insect quickly replied.
Su Chen nodded slightly and asked, "Tell me more about the Machine Empire."
The Alliance of Ten Thousand Races and the void beast tribe were the same as he guessed, but this was the first time he heard about the Machine Empire.
"The Machine Empire is similar to a kingdom of puppets, but different from ordinary puppets, they are all intelligent and abnormally powerful. There are armored puppets that are hundreds of feet tall, and there are also minibuses that can launch some special attacks."
Hearing this, Su Chen's heart skipped a beat.
The golden-shelled insect's explanation was somewhat similar to the Mechanical Soldiers and Intelligent Chariots.
Could it be that the Mechanical Soldiers and Intelligent Chariots were products of the Machine Empire?
Su Chen had some doubts, but he was not very sure.
He took a deep breath and continued to ask, "Why do the three major forces fight each other?"
"Rumor has it that there is a supreme artifact in the universe that appears once every ten thousand years. No matter who it is, as long as they can obtain this artifact, they will have the ability to rule the entire universe."
"The reason why the three forces are fighting each other is because of this divine artifact," explained the golden-shelled insect.
Su Chen rubbed his nose and muttered to himself.
If there really was a Supreme Artifact in this world, it could indeed cause many forces to fight for it.
But after all, rumors were just transmissions. Whether it was true or not, he still needed to find out in the future.
"Have you seen the sword in my hand before?"
After pondering for a while, Su Chen asked.
Now, he was a little suspicious. Did the items dropped by the fragment come from the battlefield of the ancient war?
"No."
The golden-shelled insect shook its head.
Su Chen didn't linger on this matter and changed the topic. "You said you were a Metal-devouring Bug. Are you an insectoid?"
"Yes, Master." The Metal Devouring Beetle replied.
"What are your characteristics?" Su Chen continued to ask.
The Metal-devouring Beetle's defense alone was enough to make him a little wary, so he wanted to know more about it.
"My biggest characteristic is that my body is abnormally tough. Other than that, I also have the ability to devour everything.
Of course, the prerequisite is that the opponent's cultivation cannot be too much higher than mine. "
Hearing this, Su Chen's eyes suddenly lit up.
If the Metal-devouring Beetle could devour everything, wouldn't that mean it was almost invincible in the same realm?
