Instantly erasing all their Sin Points, Sharp Knife and the others were extremely excited.
In the Land of the Exiles, they had suffered quite a bit. According to the normal procedure, when they came out, their levels would definitely be much lower than the players outside.
Chen Mo saw that over 500 Sin Points had been erased from his body, and he was also relieved of the Heinous Sin title.
"Brother Silence, what are your plans? The few of us are planning to form a party to level up and practice our coordination before seeking revenge on the people from Out of Print Guild," Sharp Knife asked.
"I still have things to do, so I won't accompany you guys.
If you want revenge, remember not to blacken your name. It won't be easy to come out after going in again, "Chen Mo reminded after thinking for a while.
"Okay.
If you need any help, remember to look for us! "
The few of them then left, and Chen Mo began to search for monsters.
He could not wait to try out the effects of the Sealed Cage Ring.
"Seal!"
After finding a Level 25 Red Sea Prawn, Chen Mo reduced the monster's HP to below 5% in a few hits. Then, he used the Seal skill on the monster.
A ball of light shot out from the Sealed Cage Ring and entangled the Level 25 Red Sea Prawn. The Red Sea Prawn struggled for a while before being dragged into the ring.
"Basic Physical Attack and Basic Magic Attack have both increased to 15 points. Strength and Intelligence have also increased to 13 points!"
Chen Mo looked at the Sealed Cage Ring's attributes and could not help but cry out in excitement.
Just by capturing a Level 25 monster, the Sealed Cage Ring's attributes had an obvious increase!
"How do I use the Copy ability?"
Chen Mo fiddled with the ring curiously. This was the first time he had sealed a monster.
System Notification: Please use this function only after leaving combat state. Please try to use this function in a safe area.
The system notification sounded, and Chen Mo felt a little strange. He could only wait patiently for ten seconds.
After killing a monster, players would not leave combat state immediately. They had to wait for ten seconds.
After ten seconds, Chen Mo tried to use the duplication ability again, but he realized that his consciousness was moving. The scene in front of him changed, and he was sucked into a huge prison.
This prison was like an ancient Roman gladiator arena. There were countless cells around it, one after another.
There was a number in front of each cell. Chen Mo found the Red Sea Shrimp that had just been sealed in cell number 1.
Chen Mo approached the Red Sea Prawn, and the skill information of the Red Sea Prawn immediately appeared before his eyes.
The Red Sea Prawn could only copy a skill called "Seawater Spray", which was to spray out a stream of seawater like an arrow to attack the enemy, causing quite a bit of damage to the enemy.
Of course, Chen Mo would not copy it just like that. This skill was a Magic Attack and was affected by Magic Attacks. Copying it would not be of much use. It would just be a waste of the copy slot. If he copied this skill, he might not be able to copy other Level 25 skills.
After knowing how to use it, Chen Mo exited, satisfied.
Then he realized that although he had just entered a special cage space, his character was still outside.
When he was in the cage space, the character outside might be attacked by the enemy without realizing it. That was why the system notified him to use it in a safe area.
After figuring out how to use the Sealed Cage ring, and knowing that the more monsters he caught, the more obvious the increase in the ring's stats would be. Chen Mo moved back to East Sea Metropolis, and on the way back, he kept catching monsters.
Although the strange client had given him a commission, the client did not give him a deadline, so Chen Mo was not in a hurry to rush over.
There were already so many people searching for treasures in the Quicksand Rift Valley. There was not much difference whether he went a day earlier or a day later. If the client's commission was so easy to complete, it would be the same whether he was there or not.
After spending almost an entire day, Chen Mo caught almost all the monsters outside East Sea Metropolis.
After catching dozens of monsters, Chen Mo also figured out some patterns.
Just like the description on the ring, the increase in the ring's stats had a lot to do with the level and type of the monsters. The more monsters there were, the more types of monsters there were. Monsters of the same type, no matter how many of them there were, would not have much of an effect.
As for low-level monsters, such as Level 11 monsters, there was a limit to the increase. The first Level 11 monster that Chen Mo caught only increased the ring's base attack by one point. After that, he had to catch a few monsters below Level 20 for the ring's stats to increase.
In other words, the increase would only be greatest when he caught the first monster of the same level. After that, if he caught more monsters of the same level, the increase would decrease. He had to accumulate more monsters.
After spending so much time on it, the attributes of the Sealed Cage Ring had also increased tremendously!
Sealed Cage Ring
Quality: Sub-God
Restrictions: None
Stats:
Basic Physical Attack Power + 70
Basic Magic Attack Power + 70
Strength + 40
Intelligence + 40
Additional Skills: Seal
… …
The ring's base attack power had increased from the initial 10 points to 70 points. It was the ring with the highest base attack power that Chen Mo had ever seen. He had never seen such a ring before, not even in the various top-tier equipment that he had seen on the forums.
Moreover, the ring's stats were not the limit that could be reached at the moment. Chen Mo had only spent less than a day to upgrade the ring. The monsters sealed inside were only those outside of the East Sea City.
All Chen Mo needed to do was spend more time running to the City of Shadows and Storm City and capturing all the monsters in the vicinity of those two cities. The ring's attributes would definitely improve.
Moreover, the highest level monster that Chen Mo had caught so far was only Level 32. If he worked harder, he could catch some Level 35 monsters and increase the ring's base attack power to 100 points. That would not be a problem at all.
However, raising the base attack power to 70 points was enough for the time being. Although the ring could still be improved, there was no need to rush. He could play the game while catching monsters at the same time.
As for the three slots for copying abilities, Chen Mo had not used any of them.
He had very high standards. Ordinary monster skills were nothing to him.
For example, the monsters that he had caught currently only used skills like Charge, Pounce, and Claw Attack. They were not of much use to him.
Therefore, Chen Mo decided to wait for two more days and catch some top-tier monsters before deciding on which skills to copy.
In particular, Sharp Knife and the others had mentioned that there were some special monsters in the Quicksand Rift. Since he was going there anyway, he would catch some monsters along the way and copy their skills.
However, if necessary, Chen Mo would copy the skills of the monsters in his hands.
It was also for this reason that Chen Mo was not in a hurry to copy skills. After all, after copying three slots, the skills of monsters of the same level could no longer be changed.
After capturing most of the monsters around the East Sea City, Chen Mo walked towards the East Sea City.
It was in his backpack. He had to go back to the warehouse and replenish his potions.
Yesterday in the underground passage, he had almost used up all his potions for Sharp Knife and the others.
Although he did not use potions much, he still had to keep some in case he needed them.
"You!
Stop! "
When he arrived at the city gate, the NPC guards saw Chen Mo and immediately shouted.
Damn, what's going on?
This scene was very familiar. A few days ago, when he came to turn himself in, the NPC guards stopped him like this and then arrested him.
He was now a white-named NPC. What did these NPC guards mean?
"That's right!
He is indeed the criminal that Lady Joanna ordered us to capture! "
Two NPC guards approached Chen Mo and looked at him. After verifying his information, they nodded to each other. Before Chen Mo could react, they grabbed Chen Mo and put handcuffs on his hands. With a click, the handcuffs were locked. One of them then escorted Chen Mo into the prison of the East Sea City.
Damn it, Lady Joanna, I've only been out of prison for a day!
Chen Mo was dumbfounded. He knew that the matter of Hai Weila had been exposed. Otherwise, Lady Joanna would not have ordered people to arrest him.
Hai Weila's matter was exposed a little too quickly. Originally, he thought that Leopold had taken the throne of Sky Sea City, so Hai Weila's matter could be delayed for a long time. He did not expect things to turn out this way.
If he had known this would happen, he would not have returned to the East Sea City. If he was not in the East Sea City, Joanna would not be able to do anything to him.
However, it was too late to say anything now. He did not know how Joanna was going to deal with him.
Chen Mo was like a dead pig that was not afraid of boiling water. In the prison cell, he calmly waited for Joanna's arrival.
Chen Mo did not have to wait for long before Joanna appeared.
"Do you know why I want to arrest you?" Joanna looked at Chen Mo with a smile.
"I don't know.
I'm innocent. If you don't let me go, I'll sue you for slander! "
Of course, Chen Mo would rather die than admit to Hai Weila's matter. Anyway, as long as he did not arrest Hai Weila, he would die without a cause.
"You don't know?
Hehe, how dare you use a Poseidon Necklace to fool me and say that you killed Hai Weila!
Now, the people of the Flamerock Tribe have come to my door, saying that Hai Weila is still alive and that I lied to them! "Joanna laughed coldly.
"They say that she's still alive, so she's still alive?
What evidence do you have to prove that she's still alive?
Moreover, when you wanted the Poseidon Necklace as a token, I brought it back!
You took the Poseidon Necklace, and you haven't even given me my Dark Gold weapon. Now you dare to arrest me and say that I lied to you? Castellan Joanna, your skin is really thick! "Chen Mo mocked mercilessly.
Joanna's skin was really thick. She completely ignored Chen Mo's mockery and said coldly, "Indeed, I don't have any evidence at the moment. If I did, it wouldn't be as simple as arresting you."
"Now, I'll give you a choice. Go to the Quicksand Rift Valley and help me find something. If you can find it, regardless of whether the assassination of Hai Weila is true or not, I won't find trouble with you anymore. Otherwise, I'll lock you up for a month for lying to the castellan!"
Joanna threatened him without any trace of politeness.
… …
There's still a sixth update before 12!
