"Let's kill our way out!"
In the valley below, seeing that they were about to be captured by the guards, Dounis gritted his teeth and shouted after some hesitation.
Then, he took out a bottle of black medicine and poured it into his mouth.
The moment he drank the medicine, a strange black aura emitted from Dounis' body.
"Dark Forbidden Medicine!"
You Ji was shocked when she saw it.
A few years ago, there was an apothecary in Prague who was about to be captured by Prague's guards for refining forbidden medicine. In the end, that apothecary drank a bottle of the black forbidden medicine, and his combat strength soared, causing the guards who went to capture him to suffer heavy casualties.
At that time, You Ji was among the guards who went to capture him and saw the power of the black forbidden medicine with her own eyes.
The surrounding guards didn't know the consequences of Dounis' dark forbidden medicine, but they were the most clear about it.
While drinking the dark forbidden medicine could greatly increase the user's combat strength, it could also cause serious side effects. It could even change the user's personality and make them evil.
You Ji had never thought that Dounis would have a Dark Forbidden Medicine. It had to be known that the Eight Great Clans had forbidden the existence of this medicine.
But now that they were in danger of death, there was nothing wrong with Dounis using it.
After drinking the dark forbidden medicine, Dounis' combat strength increased greatly!
Whoosh!
With a sweep of the giant sword, a lightning-like black sword light flashed, and the guards in front of Dounis were swept to the sides.
Dounis moved and dashed out of the encirclement.
The guards behind Dounis also hurriedly broke out of the encirclement.
"Stop them, don't let them escape!"
The Great Shaman had set up such a trap, so he naturally didn't want these human elites to escape.
Under the Great Shaman's command, the surrounding orc guards charged over without any regard for their lives.
In the end, other than Dounis who drank the dark forbidden medicine and a few guards, You Ji and the others who were slightly behind were all entangled by the orc guards.
Dounis glanced back and saw the situation behind him. After a moment of hesitation, he gritted his teeth and continued to charge forward!
"You guys run first, I'll cover you!"
You Ji looked at the situation around her and knew that she couldn't escape no matter what, so she shouted.
As she spoke, she also drank a bottle of potion. But unlike the Darkness Forbidden Potion that Dunis drank, the one she drank was a decently effective Berserk Potion.
After drinking the Berserk Potion, You Ji's body glowed with red light. Ignoring the people attacking her from behind, she swung her sword at the orc guards who were trying to chase after her.
"We'll stay too!"
However, with just You Ji alone, even if she had drunk the Berserk Potion, it was still impossible for her to stop all the pursuers. Beside You Ji, there were still a few guards who stayed behind, desperately blocking the path of the Beast Race guards.
Dounis led the way while You Ji and the other guards desperately tried to stop him. Dounis and the others finally broke through the blockade of the Beast Race guards and quickly rushed out of the valley.
"Why is this woman so foolish?"
When Chen Mo saw Dounis use the Forbidden Darkness Medicine, he didn't immediately take action. However, he didn't expect that You Ji would sacrifice herself to let Dounis and the others escape. Dounis clearly had no intention of turning back to save her.
In Chen Mo's opinion, if You Ji wanted to escape, the chances were not small.
"Chase after him!
Don't let them escape!
This is still our Beast Race territory, they can't escape!
Once the Assassin's potion's effects wear off, they're dead meat! "
Dounis led a dozen or so people to escape. The Beast Race guards naturally wouldn't just stand by and watch them escape. More than 30 guards chased after Dounis.
"Now's the time!"
Chen Mo knew that his chance had come. He had been waiting for this moment since he saw Dounis escape.
Inside the valley, You Ji and the other guards were still desperately resisting the attacks of more than 20 guards. However, compared to before, the number of guards had decreased by more than half.
Chen Mo knew that his chance had come. He no longer hesitated. With a thought, the Black Phoenix appeared beside him.
Chen Mo knew that it was impossible to kill the Great Shaman with his current level.
No matter how he thought about it, the Great Shaman was at least Level 60.
If he had enough time, he was confident that he could exhaust the Great Shaman to death. However, if he wanted to kill the Great Shaman in front of so many players and Beast Race guards, he could only rely on the Dark Phoenix's second form. Only then would he be able to deal a huge amount of damage in a short period of time and kill the Great Shaman.
Using the Earthfire Crystals that Balsa had given him, Chen Mo had only fed Dark Phoenix seven Earthfire Crystals on the way here, and Dark Phoenix's Favorability had risen to 90 points. It was clear that the Earthfire Crystals were really good stuff.
"Second form!"
The Dark Phoenix was in a good mood after eating so many Hellfire Crystals. When it was summoned by Chen Mo, it obediently stood beside Chen Mo. When it heard Chen Mo's command, a ferocious look flashed across its eyes. Its body suddenly expanded with a boom!
Compared to its shrunken first form, it undoubtedly preferred its second form, which was full of power!
Whoosh!
Chen Mo jumped onto the Dark Phoenix's back. The Dark Phoenix flapped its huge wings and swooped down into the valley below!
"What's that?!"
There were many Beast Race players watching below. When they saw the huge Dark Phoenix descending from the sky, many of them could not help but exclaim.
The valley was not big. The huge Dark Phoenix almost covered half of the valley as soon as it appeared.
"Dark Phoenix!
A human player!
A human player on the Dark Phoenix! "
Then, when someone saw Chen Mo on the Dark Phoenix, they were even more shocked.
If it were an NPC driving such a huge Dark Phoenix, they would not find it too strange. However, this person was obviously dressed like a player.
They were all players. How could this person have such a huge Dark Phoenix?
"Be careful!
Stop it! "Seeing the Black Phoenix appear, the Great Shaman, who had been calm all this time, finally had a change in expression.
You Ji and Dounis were almost forced into a dead end by the Great Shaman. Just as they were about to be killed, Dounis used a Forbidden Dark Potion to escape. The Great Shaman was sure that there were no human reinforcements around. However, he did not expect that when he was about to capture the humans who were surrounded, another human would charge out. Moreover, it was the Dark Phoenix in its original form!
It's him?
You Ji looked at Chen Mo on the Dark Phoenix. She almost suspected that she had mistaken him for someone else. She could not believe that the person driving the Dark Phoenix was Chen Mo.
However, she and Chen Mo were extremely familiar with each other. She knew that she couldn't have been mistaken.
"All of you, run! Don't come any closer!"
Chen Mo commanded the Dark Phoenix to move. A huge black ball of light exploded near the entrance of the valley, blasting a path out. Then, he said to You Ji and the guards.
"Great! We're saved!"
"Lord Jewel, let's go!"
The guards had thought that they were dead for sure. They did not expect Chen Mo to charge out halfway and give them a chance to escape.
"You guys go first. I'll stay and help him!"
However, You Ji shook her head and said.
"Go! This is an order!"
Seeing that the guards were still not moving, as if they did not intend to leave her behind, You Ji said in a low voice.
"Yes!"
The guards did not linger. They moved and rushed out of the valley.
Tsk, this woman is really something. If she doesn't leave, I can't attack without restraint!
Chen Mo was speechless. He did not expect You Ji to be someone who would disregard her own safety for her teammates in battle.
"Get on!"
Chen Mo had the Dark Phoenix lower its altitude slightly. He extended his hand, and You Ji jumped a few meters high. Chen Mo grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the Dark Phoenix's back.
"Kill!"
Then, Chen Mo ordered the Dark Phoenix.
When the Dark Phoenix attacked, its attacks did not distinguish between friend and foe. He could not attack when You Ji and the guards were below, but he did not need to worry now.
After eating several Earthfire Crystals, the Dark Phoenix's body produced a large amount of fire elements. It opened its mouth and a huge tongue of fire descended from the sky, sweeping toward the valley below.
Some of the nearby players were swept by the Dark Phoenix's tongue of fire and were instantly killed!
System Notice: You have killed a Beastman player. You have received 10 Merit Points!
System Notice: You have killed a Beastman player. You have received 10 Merit Points!
…
Following that, the system notifications of Merit Points appeared before Chen Mo's eyes one after another.
Chen Mo couldn't help but feel delighted when he saw this.
This was an unexpected gain. It seemed that all the players here had accepted the mission to kill the human players. 10,000 Merit Points was not a dream after all!
However, the biggest goal now was still to kill the Great Shaman!
The Great Shaman knew how powerful the Dark Phoenix's tongue of fire was. He waved his staff and a thick green Magic Shield appeared on his body. When the Dark Phoenix's tongue of fire swept across his body, it only dealt a pitiful 10,000 to 20,000 damage.
"Amazing!"
The Great Shaman's Magic Shield was amazing. Chen Mo could not help but praise it.
However, his face darkened and he gave the Dark Phoenix another order.
The Dark Phoenix looked at the Great Shaman's Magic Shield and a fierce glint flashed in its eyes. Its huge iron claws viciously swiped at the Great Shaman.
The Great Shaman's Magic Shield was good at blocking magic attacks, but it was much weaker against physical attacks.
The Dark Phoenix's body was huge and its attack range was astonishing. The Great Shaman could not block it at all.
With one swipe of its claws, the Great Shaman lost more than 100,000 Health Points.
However, the Great Shaman was a Great Shaman after all. After he was swept aside by the Dark Phoenix's claws, he stood up and quickly used a healing skill on himself. His Health Points instantly recovered by tens of thousands.
"Kill them! Don't let them hurt the Great Shaman!"
At this time, the 20 or so guards around them reacted. When they saw that the Dark Phoenix had killed the Great Shaman, they surrounded the Dark Phoenix angrily.
"Looks like I have to let the Dark Phoenix use its ultimate skill!"
When Chen Mo saw this, he had an idea.
The Beastmen guards who were chasing after Dounis and the others would probably be back soon. If they were to face 50 to 60 guards, even the Dark Phoenix would not be able to stop them. He had to let the Dark Phoenix use its true strength to kill the Great Shaman.
…
The first step was even worse.
