However, after half a day of chaos, the expert players in the Underworld began to help the various tribes with the trial.
Now that the expedition quest had failed, they all wanted to leave the Underworld and ask the Skeleton Guards what had happened. Or they wanted to return to their respective NPC cities and ask the NPCs about the situation.
Now that the threat of the Night Clan no longer existed, the expert players in the Underworld were anxious to leave. After cooperating with each other, the strength they displayed was enormous.
In less than a day, many tribes had passed the trial, and many players had left the Underworld.
Chen Mo also began to speed up his training. The Ice Race's training wasn't that difficult. After the Night Clan's strength was greatly reduced, the Ice Race's people, led by Hagrid, didn't seem to be so insistent anymore. This made the training much smoother.
Chen Mo didn't bother to investigate the reason. As long as he could smoothly pass the trial, he couldn't care less about the shady dealings between Hagrid and the Night Clan.
As long as the Ice Tribe didn't have any internal problems, passing the trial wouldn't be difficult. Not to mention, they had recruited a few expert players. Under Chen Mo's leadership, the Ice Tribe passed the trial without any mishaps.
After passing the Ice Tribe's trial, Chen Mo's examination was also completed. However, he still needed the Rain Clan's help, so he couldn't leave like the other players.
Although he didn't know what would happen to the game after the expedition quest failed, he couldn't refuse the Freedom Heart Fragment. This item was precious, and he wouldn't regret it if he took it.
Seeing that Chen Mo hadn't abandoned the Rain Clan, the Rain Clan's leader sighed in relief.
He knew from the expressions of the adventurers that something big had happened. He had been worried that Chen Mo wouldn't help the Rain Clan.
Chen Mo didn't waste any words with the Rain Clan's leader and directly began to fight the Water Elemental.
Previously, he had dragged the Water Elemental to the Night Clan and used it to kill dozens of Deep Sea Serpents. During this process, Chen Mo had gained a lot of understanding of the Water Elemental.
After all, there were a lot of deep-sea serpents, and they still forced the water elemental to use many of its attacking methods. After Chen Mo observed them one by one, he already had a way to deal with them. He was also confident that he could take on the water elemental alone.
After knowing the details of the Water Elemental Body, the Water Elemental Body's most powerful attack couldn't do anything to Chen Mo. Naturally, it was no match for Chen Mo.
After spending some time to drag the Water Elemental to land, Chen Mo slowly whittled away its HP.
However, when Water Elemental Body's HP fell below 10%, it would unleash a poisonous gas explosion. The range of the explosion was extremely large, and its lethality was astonishing. If it weren't for the fact that Chen Mo wasn't afraid of poison damage, Water Elemental Body could have easily killed him. Even if he had more than 50,000 HP, it would still be useless.
The Water Elemental Body's ultimate attack was also ineffective against Chen Mo. Naturally, it could only be killed by Chen Mo.
There should be some stories behind these trial monsters that were imprisoned, but Chen Mo didn't have the time to find out.
After Chen Mo killed the Water Elemental Body, the blue gem inside the Water Elemental Body fell out.
System Notification: You have obtained the "Water Elemental Core"!
Water Elemental Core: A core that can only be produced by special Water Elemental Bodies. Only with this core, the Water Elemental Body can evolve into its final form!
The Water Elemental Core. Looking at its description, Chen Mo knew that this thing was extremely rare. It was almost unique in the game.
When he saw the Water Elemental Core, Chen Mo couldn't help but think of Ceci Hailow. It seemed that only Ceci Hailow could use it.
However, after Ceci Hailow left the Sea Tribe, Chen Mo hadn't heard any news about Ceci Hailow. He didn't know how she was doing now.
He shook his head. Now that the Expedition Quest had failed, he didn't know how the game would change. It was useless to think too much about it.
After leading the Rain Clan through the trial, Chen Mo obtained the Heart of Freedom Fragment from the Rain Clan's leader. He couldn't be bothered with what happened after that and directly chose to leave the Underground World.
"You don't know?
Aren't you the examiner for the Expedition Quest?
How can you not know?! "
In front of the underwater graveyard, a group of players surrounded the Skeleton Guard and questioned it. However, the Skeleton Guard's answer clearly didn't satisfy them.
"I don't know, I don't know. All of you, scram. Otherwise, don't blame me for being rude!"
The Skeleton Guard said coldly. Its voice was already filled with impatience.
When the surrounding players saw this, they remembered that the Skeleton Guard still had a Divine Artifact ring in its hand. If they really fought, they would probably be instantly killed. They could only leave resentfully.
"Are you also here to ask me why the quest failed?
I don't know the reason. That's not under my control. "
Chen Mo walked over, and the Skeleton Guard stared at him as it spoke.
"No, I'm here to submit the quest."
Chen Mo came to find the Skeleton Guard. Of course, he also had the intention of asking the Skeleton Guard. However, looking at the Skeleton Guard's appearance, it most likely really didn't know. Therefore, Chen Mo changed his words.
"You're still here to submit the quest at this time?
You're really strange.
Since you're here to request a quest, I'll see how your assessment results are. "
The Skeleton Guard was stunned. None of the previous players still wanted to submit the quest. After they couldn't ask why the Expedition Quest failed, they all hurriedly left. After all, to these players, completing the Expedition Quest only gave them the qualifications to enter the depths of the World Sea. Now that the quest had failed, the qualifications were useless.
As for the additional rewards, after the first batch of players was almost completely wiped out, the players behind all knew that the additional rewards couldn't have anything to do with them.
"Eh, I didn't expect your assessment results to be so good.
If it weren't for the accident, I could have given you the additional rewards. "The Skeleton Guard checked Chen Mo's assessment results and couldn't help but feel surprised.
There were many factors involved in the assessment results. However, no matter how one looked at it, Chen Mo's performance in the Underground World was already impeccable. It was only natural for him to get a high score.
"In that case, there are no rewards or additional rewards even after I submit the quest?" Chen Mo was a little disappointed.
"The additional rewards were originally related to the Expedition Quest. Now that the Expedition Quest has failed, these rewards no longer exist," the Skeleton Guard said regretfully.
"However, you don't have to be disappointed. This ring is a reward from me." However, at this moment, the Skeleton Guard handed a ring to Chen Mo.
"Divine Artifact Ring?" Chen Mo was shocked.
"No. I'm just a skeleton.
I'm just a skeleton guarding a graveyard. How could I have a Divine Artifact Ring? "The Skeleton Guard laughed.
System Notification: You've obtained the item "Time Ring Replica"!
Time Ring Replica: A replica of the Divine Artifact Time Ring. It has some of the attributes of the Time Ring.
"This is a replica of the Divine Artifact. It has the ability to accelerate and slow down time in a space.
After this Divine Artifact Replica was created, it has been used several times. Now, it only has one last chance to use it. After using it, it will completely disappear. "The Skeleton Guard explained.
So it was a replica of the Divine Artifact.
However, this was the first time Chen Mo had obtained a replica of the Divine Artifact.
The attributes of the Time Ring Replica were still quite powerful. Although it could only be used once, it was still incomparably precious.
Unfortunately, the current situation was a little wrong. Chen Mo didn't know if he would have a chance to use the replica of the Time Ring.
"Thank you."
Although he didn't know what the original reward was, Chen Mo didn't think that this reward would be lower than the original reward.
"I thought about the Expedition Quest again. At this time, there seems to be only one possibility for the Expedition Quest to fail."
At this moment, the Skeleton Guard said again.
"Only one possibility?" Chen Mo asked. This was almost certain of the reason for the Expedition Quest's failure.
"In the depths of the World Sea, there is actually a person sealed …"
The Skeleton Guard then told him about Hobick, who was sealed in the depths of the World Sea. It also guessed that the crystal ball used by Hobick for the trial should have been destroyed, which could lead to the early failure of the Expedition Quest.
The problem was that the crystal ball was almost indestructible.
When Chen Mo heard this, although he was still very puzzled, he finally had a rough idea in his heart.
After chatting with the Skeleton Guard for a while, Chen Mo used the Storage Scroll and put all his equipment and items back into the storage. Then, he found a monster outside and let the monster kill him.
