Chen Mo was already being very careful, but the plans of the heavens were different. Less than a day after entering Whale Bay from Catelyn's territory, the silhouette of a hunter appeared in the forest bordering the bay.
"When did Whale Bay become a city?"
The hunter stared blankly at the walls of Catelyn's territory from within the forest.
"Could this be a city built by outsiders or adventurers that's been rumored to be everywhere recently?
Yes, it must be! "
The hunter immediately recalled some of the recent rumors related to outsiders and adventurers that had migrated from other continents.
It was said that outsiders were all very rich, and adventurers were cheap labor. It wasn't impossible for them to build a city in a short period of time after arriving at Whale Bay.
Thinking of this, the hunter felt a surge of excitement and quietly retreated from the forest.
Less than half a day after the hunter left, an Aiqin Kingdom patrol team wearing black armor and riding tall horses appeared in the forest.
The patrol team passed through the forest and arrived at the place where the hunter had been.
"Lord Kent, there really is a city in front of us!
“
That fellow didn't lie to me after all. There really are outsiders that built a city here! "
The burly man in the captain looked at Catelyn and laughed excitedly.
Large numbers of outsiders and adventurers had come to the Holy Continent recently, and Kent was very envious of the kingdoms that could have outsiders and adventurers migrating here.
Those outsiders were all very rich. Just by scaring them, he could gain a lot of wealth. He was a patrol captain in the southern seas of the Aiqin Kingdom. If there were any outsiders who migrated here, he could use his position to gain a lot of wealth.
Unfortunately, only kingdoms with a certain level of strength on the Holy Continent had the qualifications to welcome outsiders and adventurers. The Aiqin Kingdom was a small country that couldn't even be ranked in the South Holy Continent, let alone in the entire Holy Continent. There was no place for the Aiqin Kingdom to speak, and no outsiders or adventurers came to the Aiqin Kingdom at all.
By the time outsiders and adventurers could enter the Aiqin Kingdom, who knew how long it would be. At that time, the outsiders would no longer have any valuables on them, and the adventurers would have learned their lesson. Kent wouldn't be able to earn any money after coming to the Aiqin Kingdom.
However, they didn't expect that some outsiders and adventurers would secretly come to Aiqin Kingdom and build a city in Whale Bay!
An outsider who could build a city must be incredibly wealthy!
Just thinking about it made Kent excited.
As for the strength of these outsiders and adventurers, Kent didn't take it to heart. He had received a lot of information that these adventurers were very weak, and there weren't many outsiders who were strong. He had brought a patrol team of ten people, which was enough to deal with them.
"Go!"
With a wave of his hand, he rode towards Katrin.
He was sure that Chen Mo would know the moment they appeared.
"He was discovered so quickly?"
Chen Mo didn't expect it to be so fast. According to Blackflag, he thought that he could hide for a few days before being discovered. He didn't expect the Aiqin Kingdom's NPCs to find him in just one day.
Chen Mo had originally planned to wait for Katrin's territory to stabilize in two or three days before leaving. He would then enter the Aiqin Kingdom and establish a relationship with the upper echelons of the Aiqin Kingdom.
After all, it was only a matter of time before Katrin's territory was discovered. For the sake of his future, Chen Mo knew that he had to deal with the upper echelons of the Aiqin Kingdom. Only then would he be able to develop in peace.
But Kent and the others came knocking on his door so early, which disrupted Chen Mo's plan.
"Who is the owner of this city? Show yourself! I am Kent, the Patrol Captain of the Aiqin Kingdom. You have violated the laws of the Aiqin Kingdom!"
Kent rode a tall horse into Katelyn's territory. When he saw that Katelyn's territory was empty, he couldn't help but be stunned. However, when he recalled that this was just a newly established city, it wasn't strange that it was empty.
As soon as Kent's threatening voice rang out, Chen Mo strode out and walked towards Kent.
As a newcomer, Chen Mo had no intention of clashing with Kent for the time being. His voice was very humble as he asked, "Lord Patrol Captain, how may I help you?"
"Don't try to curry favor with me!
I am only here to inform you that this is the territory of the Aiqin Kingdom. Establishing a city here is a violation of the Aiqin Kingdom's laws. Now, this city has been confiscated!
Not only that, but you have also violated the Aiqin Kingdom's laws. You will be arrested and sent to the Aiqin Kingdom's prison! "
Kent didn't take Chen Mo seriously at all. He directly announced that Katrin's territory had been confiscated, and Chen Mo and the others would be arrested and sent to prison for violating the Aiqin Kingdom's laws.
Damn!
This guy was clearly taking him for a fool!
"Lord Patrol Captain, words are no proof. Please show me evidence to prove that you have violated the law."
Chen Mo felt that Kent's words were most likely false. He didn't want to argue with Kent, so he said calmly.
"Evidence?
My words are the evidence! "
Kent snapped coldly when he heard this.
"Very well!"
Chen Mo knew that it was useless to say anything to this guy.
"What's so good about it? Are you going to resist?" Kent stared at Chen Mo and asked fiercely.
"You guessed right." Chen Mo chuckled.
If this was outside, things might be troublesome. However, Katrin's territory was his territory. Chen Mo wouldn't have any problems killing these guys.
"How dare you!" Kent angrily shouted.
However, Chen Mo only waved his hand, and two to three hundred combat puppets surrounded him.
"Hmph!
How dare you resist? These puppets of yours are useless against us! "
Kent snorted in disdain at the two to three hundred combat puppets.
As long as he spent a little more time, these puppets wouldn't be a match for his patrol team at all!
"Kill!"
The group of puppets surrounded him. Kent loudly shouted and rushed towards the puppets with his subordinates. He wanted to kill his way through the puppets and capture the adventurer in front. He wanted to let them know that even the people of the Aiqin Kingdom were stronger than them!
However, Kent knew that he was wrong the moment the battle started.
The combat puppets' attack power wasn't high, but their defense wasn't low. In addition, there were many of them. Kent and the others could easily kill one or two, but seven or eight would be troublesome.
With two to three hundred combat puppets surrounding them, Kent and the others couldn't escape even if they wanted to.
Chen Mo didn't just stand by and watch. He also made a move. Once he made a move, Kent and the others couldn't fight back at all.
In just a little over ten minutes, Kent and the ten patrol guards were all on the verge of death.
"How dare you attack the patrol guards of the Aiqin Kingdom. If news gets out, you will definitely be killed!"
Kent finally panicked and threatened in a stern voice.
"Don't worry. As long as you all die here, the news won't get out."
Chen Mo looked at the group of patrolling guards who were on the verge of death and chuckled.
"You dare kill us?
We are the patrol guards of the Aiqin Kingdom. If someone finds out, you are dead! "Kent shouted.
"This is a place where birds don't lay eggs. Who would know?
However, it's not impossible for you to live. I will sign a three year slave contract with you. I can spare your lives.
I will give you ten seconds to consider. If you don't agree after this time, I will kill you all! "
Chen Mo coldly threatened. He only gave Kent and the others ten seconds to consider.
Kent and the others who only wanted to make money naturally didn't want to die here. Not long after Chen Mo stated his conditions, Kent took the lead to agree.
Kent took the lead to agree. The other ten Aiqin Kingdom guards also followed and became Chen Mo's slaves.
Damn it!
After subduing the pirates, he also subdued a kingdom's patrol team.
According to this trend, as long as he controlled the king of the Aiqin Kingdom, he would own the entire Aiqin Kingdom.
However, Chen Mo also knew that this was all he could do. If he wanted to directly control the king of a kingdom, it would be extremely difficult. A king of a kingdom wouldn't be of a low rank. It would be a problem for Chen Mo to even get close to him, let alone control him without anyone noticing.
However, after capturing the Aiqin Kingdom's patrol guards, Chen Mo had a clear understanding of the Aiqin Kingdom's defenses.
… …
The next day.
