Regarding the black caterpillar, although Chen Mo still had a lot of questions in his heart, he could only put them down. Right now, he still had to complete the sixth floor's mission first.
As for how to complete the sixth floor's mission, Chen Mo also had a way after encountering the black caterpillar.
"Little guy, have you roughly grasped the syllables of the metal rats' pronunciation?"
Chen Mo asked the Spirit Queen.
The method was actually very simple. Although the metal rats were very good at hiding, their IQ wasn't very high. The communication between them was only a few simple syllables. As long as the Spirit Queen mastered these syllables, she could make a sound that caused panic in the metal rats' nest.
When the metal rats ran out in a hurry, he could easily catch them.
"I roughly grasped it. I can give it a try!"
The Spirit Queen had attached herself to many warbeasts. As long as she understood the role of the metal rats' syllables, it was very easy to control the metal rats to make a few syllables.
Soon, they found another metal rat nest. The Spirit Queen controlled a metal rat to go in while Chen Mo set up traps outside to prepare.
Squeak squeak squeak!!!
Not long after, a burst of frantic squeaks came from underground.
It's here!
Chen Mo's spirit was lifted. He knew that the Spirit Queen was going to make a contribution.
"What a big metal rat. We're rich!"
The first to break out of the ground was a metal rat the size of a football. Chen Mo was delighted when he saw it.
"The rest are not bad either!"
However, other than the first and largest one, there were seven or eight metal rats that were not small. Chen Mo was sure that as long as they were killed, the ore crystals would definitely not run away!
Blood Cage!
The metal rats ran around. Chen Mo couldn't deal with so many of them at once.
But it wasn't a problem. He still had the Blood Cage skill!
A blood-red fog appeared, enveloping all the metal rats in the surroundings.
Kill!
Chen Mo, Chen Mo, and the Blood Shadow Doppelganger brazenly charged towards the largest metal rats.
There were a lot of Metal Rats around, and the Blood Shadow Doppelganger was in its Awakened state as soon as it appeared. It used Thousand Blades, and the Metal Rats in the Crimson Cage instantly lost HP.
There were a lot of metal rats on the sixth floor, and they weren't difficult to deal with. As long as you didn't get bitten by their tough mouths, there was nothing to pay attention to.
The difficulty of the sixth floor's mission lay in finding the Metal Rat.
The metal rats were timid and afraid of death. When someone appeared, they would hide in their nest and not come out. When the metal rats heard the news and hid, it would be extremely difficult to complete the task.
Under the joint attack of Chen Mo and the Blood Shadow Doppelganger, the largest metal rats were quickly killed.
System Notification: You have obtained a piece of Advanced Crystal Ore!
System Notification: You have obtained a piece of Advanced Crystal Ore!
System Notification: You have obtained a piece of "Mother-Of-Steel"!
…
When the metal rats died, they all dropped a piece of ore crystal. Chen Mo quickly picked it up.
"Haha! That's right! They're all Advanced Crystal Ores! There's even Mother-Of-Steel!"
Looking at the six Advanced Crystal Ores and one Mother-Of-Steel in his bag, Chen Mo immediately became excited.
According to his current method, completing the sixth floor's mission would be a piece of cake. He could even obtain the extremely difficult Mother-Of-Steel in large quantities!
"Come, let's go to the next metal rat nest."
There were still many metal rats around, and some of them might even drop Advanced Crystal Ores. However, Chen Mo was no longer interested in them.
He wanted to obtain as much Mother-Of-Steel as possible to complete the mission. He didn't have to worry about not having enough Advanced Crystal Ores.
Previously, Chen Mo and the Ghost Queen had searched for metal rats for a long time, so they were very experienced in finding metal rat nests. He quickly found the second metal rat nest and had the Ghost Queen control a metal rat to enter it again.
A series of squeaking sounds rang out, and the metal rats in the nest panicked once more. They all fled outside.
Chen Mo waited outside. However, the Cooldown of Crimson Cage was too long. He couldn't use Crimson Cage to trap the escaping metal rats like before.
However, Chen Mo didn't mind. He only needed to keep an eye on the largest metal rat. After killing the largest metal rat, he had a high chance of obtaining the Mother-Of-Steel.
As for the smaller ones, it wouldn't be too late to selectively kill them after killing the largest one.
Over the next half an hour, Chen Mo and the Ghost Queen worked together to create panic after panic as they frantically killed the metal rats.
The largest rats that he had his eyes on would all drop the mother-of-steel. After half an hour, Chen Mo's backpack had five mother-of-steel pieces.
Chen Mo had already obtained 18 pieces of Advanced Crystal Ores required for the mission. He had long since completed the mission.
After completing the mission, he could also obtain additional points as a reward.
Next, Chen Mo continued to spend nearly half an hour killing metal rats. It wasn't until the metal rats had learned their lesson that he and the Ghost Queen's move had almost no effect that he gave up on killing metal rats.
However, at this time, he already had nine Mother-Of-Steel and 33 Advanced Crystal Ores in his bag. It was a bountiful harvest!
"There's still someone who can complete the mission?
It's already been hard on you. "
Chen Mo returned to Blacksmith Borg to submit the mission. When Borg saw Chen Mo, he was a little surprised.
After a metal rat was frightened, it would often stay for a few days before appearing again. It was very difficult to kill metal rats during this period of time and obtain enough Ore Crystals.
"So many Advanced Crystal Ores?"
However, when Chen Mo took out 33 pieces of Advanced Crystal Ores, even Borg, a Blacksmith Master, couldn't help but be stunned.
"Yes, Master, please check them. I have to rush to the next floor." Chen Mo nodded.
He had been delayed on the fifth and sixth floors for long enough. He had to rush to the seventh floor as soon as possible.
"Okay, there are indeed 33 pieces of Advanced Crystal Ores."
Hearing this, Borg confirmed the quality and quantity of Ore Crystals.
When Chen Mo saw this, he turned around and walked toward the watchman on the sixth floor.
More than ten minutes later, Chen Mo found the watchman on the sixth floor and handed over his certificate.
After the watchman confirmed the record in the certificate, he nodded and let Chen Mo enter the seventh floor.
"Tsk tsk, this place is a little similar to where I live."
After entering the seventh floor, Chen Mo appeared in a grayish-brown forest. The ground was full of messy fallen leaves.
Seeing this, the Ghost Queen immediately shouted.
System Notification: You have passed the sixth floor alone and have received 1,600 points. You have received an additional 2,300 points!
On the sixth floor, Chen Mo spent a lot of time, but on the sixth floor, Chen Mo also obtained a lot of points.
The mission itself was worth 800 points. Unlike before, on the sixth floor, every additional piece of Advanced Crystal Ores would give him an additional 100 points.
With the double mission points and the additional Ore Crystal Ores points, Chen Mo had obtained close to 4,000 points on the sixth floor. It was double the points from the fifth floor!
System Notification: Welcome to the seventh floor of the Ability Tower!
Mission on this floor:
1. Kill an Elite Monster on this floor!
2. Kill three players on the seventh floor!
After entering the seventh floor, the content of the mission had obviously become more difficult.
The Elite Monsters on the seventh floor of the Ability Tower were at least Level 65 and above. As long as one could find the monster's weakness, it was still possible to deal with it.
However, if one had to kill three players, the mission would forcefully eliminate many players.
There were not many players who could reach the seventh floor. To kill three people, even if one could form a team, was not an easy task.
After all, if one had a team, others would also have a team. When the battle started, no one could guarantee who would survive in the end.
This mission naturally caused many players who came to the seventh floor to complain. However, when Chen Mo saw it, he felt that the mission on the seventh floor was much easier than before.
Whether it was killing an Elite Monster or three players, as long as he could encounter them, it was not a problem!
"Sigh, if only the Black Phoenix could still be used."
With the Black Phoenix, he could look down from above and find people and monsters at will.
Although he could also fly, his flying speed was not fast and not high. If he flew, he would only become a target for others. It was safer to search on the ground.
As Chen Mo spoke, he glanced at the Spirit Queen. If he did not have to fight with the Spirit Queen, the Black Phoenix would not have to enter its second form and would not be in an unusable state now.
"Why are you looking at me? This has nothing to do with me!"
The Spirit Queen glared at Chen Mo and scolded him.
Chen Mo did not argue with the Spirit Queen. He moved and was about to search for Elite Monsters.
As for killing players, this seemed to be more troublesome. After all, the number of player teams on the seventh floor was definitely pitifully small. He had arrived so late, and those who could go up had already gone to the higher floors.
After searching in the grayish-brown forest for a while, Chen Mo discovered that it was not that there were no monsters on the seventh floor, but that there were too many monsters.
Along the way, he saw a large number of monsters. If he did not have the Camouflage skill, it would be difficult for him to move smoothly.
However, these monsters were all Common monsters. Although Chen Mo encountered many monsters, he did not see any Elite monsters.
Along the way, Chen Mo and the Spirit Queen analyzed the situation and realized that the more Common monsters there were, the less likely there would be Elite monsters.
On the seventh floor, Common monsters should not dare to approach the territory of Elite monsters.
According to this analysis, Chen Mo walked in the direction where there were no monsters.
"As expected, I found it!
An Elite monster! "
Not long after, a huge black bear appeared in front of Chen Mo!
There was a colorful halo under the black bear's feet. Without a doubt, it was an Elite Monster.
…
The third one was even worse.
