"What?!
The Empress Dowager was assassinated?! "
Everyone was shocked when they heard the news.
Especially Censor Ma who questioned King Ning. He didn't care about the sarcasm in King Ning's words and hurriedly said, "Then let's go to the palace quickly and see how the Empress Dowager is doing!"
The Empress Dowager being assassinated was a big deal!
If something happened to her, no one in the whole Chu could stop King Ning!
When the latter succeeded the throne, the whole Chu Country would be overturned. Those who stood against King Ning from the beginning would have no way to survive!
Thinking so, the group hurriedly followed King Ning to the Chu Imperial Palace.
It wasn't that no one thought that this assassination might be King Ning's doing.
But the Empress Dowager's safety was more important. At this time, no one cared about this!
"Good!
I'll take you into the palace now! "King Ning's eyes were gloomy and proud as he led the group to the Chu Palace.
Because of the presence of a group of important ministers, the group entered the palace almost unimpeded and arrived at the inner hall where Empress Dowager Yan Xi lived.
"Your Highness King Ning!
Ministers!
The Empress Dowager has ordered that no one is allowed to approach the inner hall! "
The guards outside were loyal to their duties. When they saw King Ning leading a group of ministers, they immediately stopped them outside the square!
"Humph!
The Empress Dowager was assassinated and you people still want to hide it!
Now you want to stop us! "
"Don't you know that if something happens to the Empress Dowager, you can't escape death?
Get out of my way! "
Prince Ning had brought his men into the palace for this very moment.
He looked at the inner hall square that was guarded by many guards and surrounded like an iron bucket. He couldn't help but sneer in his heart.
With such a strict defense, that woman Yan Xi really fell into the trap!
She might be in the Inner Palace right now, and who knows how many men she's with!
Empress Dowager Yan Xi of Great Chu should naturally be 'admired' by everyone!
With that thought in mind, he sneered and waved his hand.
Immediately, the group of people behind him rushed out and pushed aside the group of Inner Palace Protectors in front of him.
"Your Highness King Ning!"
Those guards in the inner hall were forced to retreat step by step. They wanted to attack but didn't dare to.
After all, Prince Ning pretended to be concerned about the Empress Dowager and had a group of important officials behind him. They couldn't convict him of harboring evil intentions!
However, the Empress Dowager ordered them to guard the place to the death and not allow anyone to enter.
Immediately, the group of people fell into a dilemma.
Prince Ning sneered as he led the men behind him to close in, forcing the guards in the square of the inner palace to the gate of the inner palace!
Looking at the closed door and seeing that there was no sound from inside despite such a big noise, the sneer and complacency in King Ning's eyes became more intense.
At this moment, Yan Xi probably couldn't care less about these things!
She didn't know if the men she called in could satisfy her!
If he couldn't, he still had people here!
Bring it to her now!
Thinking of this, King Ning suddenly shouted coldly, "There's no movement in the inner hall!"
"You bastards!
If the Empress Dowager's treatment is delayed and something happens to the Empress Dowager's body, this prince wants your lives! "
As he spoke, he ordered sternly, "Kick open this door for this King!"
Boom!
