"Please have absolute trust in us!"
The many researchers patted their chests loudly.
"Fine..."
Due to his trust in the professionals, Chen Yu hesitantly manipulated the Interstellar Portal and shifted its position by another 5,000 kilometers.
"Buzz!"
In the next moment, the originally orange alarm immediately turned red!
It shone on Chen Yu's face.
Chen Yu: "..."
It's red!
It's red!
It's red!
[UP, stop messing around. That's enough...]
[Crap!]
[This young man?]
[Is he playing with his life?]
[Crap!]
[My teeth ache.]
[Can we measure the singularity's data at this distance?]
[We're only 4,000 kilometers away from the black hole. Dammit...]
[Can't we watch a black hole together?]
[The kind that collapses into atoms?]
Turning his head, Chen Yu stared at the researchers in a daze.
The researchers also stared at him in a daze.
"..."
"..."
A strange silence fell into the island-building ship's hall.
"This distance..." After a long silence, Chen Yu asked a nonsensical question, "Is there really no problem?"
"It should be..." One of the researchers looked at his companion.
"Maybe..." His companion looked at his other companion.
"More or less..." His other companion looked at his team leader.
"Maybe..." The team leader looked at the person in charge.
"... There's no problem, right?" the person in charge said as he wiped his sweat.
"I want an accurate answer!!"
"We'll know after we try!"
14
"You guys just want to get the data, right?!" Chen Yu bellowed.
"Mhm, mhm."
14
"Dammit!
He actually admitted it without hesitation! "
Chen Yu cursed inwardly. After pondering for a moment, he picked up the sixth rock and tossed it into the Interstellar Portal without hesitation.
Crack … Crack …
A series of crisp sounds rang out!
The moment the rock, which was originally half a meter in diameter, passed through the spatial film, it was actually torn apart and dragged by a terrifying gravitational force...
Chen Yu: "..."
"Quick!
Calculate quickly! "
"Little Zhang, come to my group and calculate the gravitational force."
"The model has been established."
"Quick!
Send it here … "
The researchers were excited again. Their eyes lit up as they began to calculate.
One minute later …
"The gravitational acceleration is 2882.31 meters per second!"
"4154681 meters away."
"Escape velocity 154758.29 meters per second …"
"The data is enough!"
The person in charge strode to a laptop and quickly entered all the data he had obtained …
"Huff, huff …"
Sets of data popped up on the display screen, and the computer's exhaust heat dissipation was automatically turned on to the maximum.
One second.
5 seconds.
17 seconds …
Dozens of rows of data were displayed!
The middle-aged man's body was trembling slightly.
"He … he's out …"
Curious, Chen Yu stepped forward and looked at the numbers displayed on the screen. He couldn't help but click his tongue.
Schwarzschild radius: 1.443 meters
Black hole diameter: 9 cm
Black hole mass: 7.45625332 E + 26
Gravitational acceleration at the core of the black hole: 1.990102949 E + 18m/s
Black hole core escape velocity: 1410710087.15 meters per second
Black hole horizon: 1.311 meters
Black hole core density …
Singularity five thousandths …
The seemingly endless data dazzled Chen Yu. However, he still resisted the numbness in his scalp and continued reading.
Every set of numbers represented a major breakthrough in the field of physics!
Just like that, human civilization had passed through gaseous planets, stars, supergiants, and neutron stars … Crossing four levels in a row, they had obtained the true data of a black hole …
One could say that from this moment onward, humanity's originally slowed technological explosion phase would continue to extend!
Moreover, it would double the speed!
[Please point the screen at us. Thank you.]
[Is this the detailed data of a black hole?]
[I want to see it too!]
[Don't even think about it. It's impossible for the public to see it at this stage.]
[What's the point of studying black holes?]
[Just thinking about it is terrifying. Earth has the moon to drive the tides. The moon also has countless important elements on its surface. Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune also block damage and stabilize Earth's orbit.]
[Earth has a single star to provide stable support and two large gaseous planets to provide an inexhaustible source of energy.]
[In addition, this primordial black hole has the least threat but the most research value …]
[This is the start of a dream for human civilization!]
Scientists had long since suspected that most of the galaxies in the Milky Way were binary star systems. The solar system itself had a small number of single stars. The solar system also had eight planets at just the right locations. If one wanted to develop technology, the solar system had everything.
This was too much of a coincidence.
Moreover, there was a Proxima Centauri just four light-years away. There were very few planetary systems with such close distances on the third spiral arm.
Thinking about it, it was terrifying …
After quickly memorizing all the data, Chen Yu shook his head regretfully.
The last and most important part was the singularity data. He had yet to analyze it.
As far as he knew, if he wanted to obtain this data, he had to enter the black hole's horizon.
However, once he entered the black hole's horizon, not even light traveling at 300,000 kilometers per second could escape...
"M-Mr. King, can we continue forward?"
The person in charge excitedly turned around and walked up to Chen Yu. He then stuttered as he stretched out a finger. "One kilometer!
Just one kilometer forward and look at the data there! "
"Okay."
Chen Yu did not refuse and decisively manipulated the Interstellar Portal's virtual projection.
It was obvious that he couldn't get out of the portal at such a distance. The only reason he continued forward was to obtain the black hole's data.
"Zizi!"
The instant he entered the coordinates and clicked on the spatial link, the portal's light turned "black" and forcibly closed.
"... The gravity is too strong."
After looking at the person in charge, Chen Yu looked at the camera and shrugged. "The excessive gravity has caused space to distort. I can no longer locate the spatial link."
"Hah..."
The middle-aged person in charge stared at the metal arch in a daze. After a moment, he sighed regretfully.
"That's it, then."
Stretching out his hand, Chen Yu reactivated the Interstellar Portal and said, "Now that I've obtained the data, it's impossible to continue forward. You guys should help me calculate how far I can go into the black hole."
"Okay!
We'll calculate it for you. "
Now that they had a data model, the researchers directly entered Chen Yu's protective suit's average speed per second and obtained the safe distance.
"Seven thousand kilometers!"
The female researcher raised her hand and said, "When you are seven thousand kilometers away from the black hole, the gravitational acceleration is 1015.36 meters per second. So long as your speed is greater than this value, you will be safe.
Otherwise... "
"Otherwise what?" Chen Yu asked.
"You will fall into the black hole at an increasing speed until you approach the speed of light. According to the black hole's hairless theorem, all information will be stripped away, leaving only mass, angular momentum, and electric charge."
"Huh?"
Discovering a bug, Chen Yu asked, "In the data just now, it said that the gravitational acceleration at the black hole's core can reach hundreds of millions of kilometers per second. Isn't this much faster than the speed of light?"
"B-But you will never reach the core. You will only stop at the black hole's horizon of about one... one meter," the female researcher said. Due to a slip of the tongue, she nearly said the exact number 1.311.
"I understand, then."
Not asking any more questions, Chen Yu slid the virtual projection and set the distance to seven thousand kilometers away from the black hole.
"Buzz!"
The metal arch's space fluctuated for a moment, revealing the pitch-black world behind it.
"Mr. King, you don't need to go out. The black hole's existence is official now.
You don't need to take any risks. "
"It doesn't matter. I am still a self-media reviewer."
Tapping his temple with his index finger, Chen Yu said, "My main duty is to lead the audience to witness the scenery and wonders.
I want everyone to see the black hole with their own eyes. "
"B-But this black hole doesn't have an accretion disk. It is invisible to the naked eye," the person in charge said hesitantly.
"You can see it!"
Shaking his head, Chen Yu put on his glove and firmly stepped out of the Interstellar Portal. "I have a way...
"I'll let you see the black hole..."
